Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar siswa jurusan IPA dan IPS serta perbandingan antara keduannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode diskriptif kuantitatif. Adapun yang menjadi populasi adalah siswa kelas XI jurusan IPA dan IPS berjumlah 198 siswa, terdiri 93 siswa jurusan IPA dan 105 siswa jurusan IPS, yang dijadikan sampel berjumlah 64, 32 siswa jurusan IPA dan 32 siswa jurusan IPS dengan menggunakan random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket, hasilnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji mann-whitney. Sesuai dengan hasil yang diperoleh ternyata siswa jurusan IPA memiliki motivasi belajar sebesar 87,5% hal tersebut memberi arti bahwa sebahagian besar siswa menunjukkan minat dan semangat dalam mengikuti proses belajar, yang ditandai dengan rasa senang berkerja untuk mencapai keberhasilan. Sedangkan siswa jurusan IPS memiliki motivasi belajar sebesar 78,1% artinya sebahagian waktu siswa dilakukan dengan kegiatan belajar, kurang tekun menghadapi tugas, dan dapat menyelesaikan masalah belajar tanpa harus belajar lebih keras, hal ini terbentuk karena pola pengajaran dan mata pelajaran yang dialami oleh setiap jurusan masing-masing. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mendeskripsikan distribusi butir soal kebahasaan ranah kognitif pada ujian semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014 mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Takengon dan (2) untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kesulitan butir soal kebahasaan ranah kognitif pada ujian semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014 mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Takengon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) distribusi butir soal kebahasaan ranah kognitif pada ujian semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014 mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Takengon terdapat beberapa tingkatan, yaitu butir soal tingkat C1 yang mencapai 54% tergolong tidak seimbang, tingkat C2 yang mencapai 23% tergolong tidak seimbang, tingkat C3 yang mencapai 17% tergolong tidak seimbang, dan tingkat C4 yang mencapai 6% tergolong tidak seimbang dan (2) tingkat kesulitan butir soal kebahasaan ranah kognitif pada ujian semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014 mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Takengon terdapat taraf kesulitan, yaitu butir soal kategori mudah yang mencapai 57% tergolong tidak seimbang, kategori sedang yang mencapai 37% tergolong tidak seimbang, dan kategori sulit yang mencapai 6% tergolong tidak seimbang. Dari hasil penelitian, terbukti bahwa (1) distribusi butir soal kebahasaan ranah kognitif tidak seimbang dengan perimbangan proporsi persentase untuk siswa tingkat SMP dan (2) tingkat kesulitan butir soal kebahasaan ranah kognitif juga tidak seimbang dengan proporsi persentase untuk jumlah soal. The population of this study was 39 consumption goods companies registered in the Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2008 to 2011, and 12 of them were selected to be the samples for this study through purposive sampling method. The data for this study were obtained from the documentation of financial reports available in the office of Indonesian Stock Exchange. The first hypothesis was procesed through Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (MKO) method, the second hypothesis was statistically processed through multiple linear regression tests, and the third hypothesis was process through residual test using SPSS program. The result of this study showed that return on asset, return on equity, profit, long term debt, debt to total asset had influence on dividend policy. The result of the second hypothesis test showed that simultaneously return on asset, return on equity, profit, long term debt, debt to total asset had influence on dividend policy and partially only return on equity and current asset had influence on dividend policy. When cash ratio was used as the moderating variable, cash ratio did not strengthen the relationship between the variables of return on asset, return on equity, profit, long term debt, debt to total asset and current ratio and dividend policy. Sekarang, banyak benteng yang terbengkalai dan tidak tampak lagi bentuknya. Padahal jika dilindungi, hal ini dapat menjadi salah satu peluang bisnis dan juga sebagai saran pendidikan. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan kiat untuk mengekspos kembali benteng ini. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan adalah metode geofisika. Metode geofisika sudah diterapkan dalam bidang arkeologi di dunia dan metode geofisika sudah banyak berkontribusi di bidang arkeologi. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode geomagnetik. Metode geomagnetik adalah metode yang memanfaatkan induksi medan magnet bumi untuk mendeteksi benda yang terkubur. Pada penlitian ini dibuat 25 lintasan pengukuran di sekitar benteng untuk mendapatkan medan magnet total di sekitar benteng. Setelah dilakukan proses koreksi dan pemisahan anomali regional, didapatkan anomali residual yang kemudian diinterpretasi. Hasil interpretasi mennujukkan bahwa terdapat sekitar dua puluh anomali yang tersebar di seluruh daerah penelitian. Semua anomali tersebut kemudian diplot posisinya dan dicari hubungan antara setiap anomali sehingga membentuk bangunan benteng.
