                <text>Coconut fibre which is extracted from outer shell of a coconut is a type of natural fibre used as composite board reinforcement in this research. The fibrebinder used in this research was stryrofoam which is a material from polysterene. This research was aimed at finding out the appropriate composition by weight between coconut fibre and polysterene and to find out the physical, mechanical and morphological characteristics of composite board resulted from the engineering process. The construction of composite board was started by cutting the fibres with the length of ≤ 5 mm, then dyeing them into NaOH for 4 hours. After those process, the fibres were dried and weighted. The Styrofoam was dissolved into silane before it was weighted based on its composition. After the coconut fibre and polysterene mixtures were mixed,they were poured into the composite board mold. The benefit of this composite board is that it is more water resistant. The test results for tensile, density, moisture content, and thickness swelling meet the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 03-2105-2006. The flexural strength of composite board which meets the standard is the compositions of 30:70, 40:60, and 50:50, while the compositions of 60:60 and 70:30 do not meet the standard.</text>

Tujuan penelitan ini adalah untuk memperoleh data yang lengkap tentang pelaksanaan supervisi pengajaran oieh pengawas madrasah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru pada MIN Meulaboh Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi, subjek penelitian adalah Pengawas Madrasah, Kepala Madrasah dan guru. Penelitian ini memberikan kesimpulan bahwa, program supervisi pengajaran yangidisusun oleh pengawas madrasah adalah program semester dan program tahunan yang meliputi pembinaan kinerja guru dalam kelompok dan pembinaan individual guru. Pelaksanaan supervisi pengajaran dalam rangka peningkatan kompetensi professional guru dilakukan melalui observasi kelas, pertemuan individu, diskusi kelompok dan demontrasi mengajar, hambatan hambatan yang dihadapi pengawas madrasah dalam pelaksanaan supervisi adalah kurangnya tenaga pengawas madrasah, kurangnya pengetahuan guru tentang pengelolaan proses belajar mengajar, sarana dan prasarana belajar yang terbatas, kurangnya kemampuan guru dalam menyusun program pembelajaran, kurangnya guru dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran. The purpose of this research was to obtain complete data on the implementation of the teaching supervision by the supervisor in order to improve the professional competence of teachers in State Islamic Elementary School Meulaboh of Aceh Barat Regency. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentary study. Subjects of the study were school supervisor, principal and teachers. This study concludes that, teaching supervision programs compiled by the supervisor were semester program and annual program that included the coaching of teacher performance in group and individual. Teaching supervision was done through classroom observation, individual meetings, group discussions and demonstrations of teaching. Obstacles faced were the lack of supervisory personnel, lack of knowledge of the teachers about the management of teaching and learning, limited learning facilities and infrastructure, lack of ability of the teacher in preparing learning program, lack of teachers using instructional media.                 <text>ABSTRAKKata kunci: hubungan, persepsi, guru pamong, nilai mahasiswa PPLProgram Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) merupakan program untuk meningkatkan mutu dari mahasiswa FKIP. Setiap kegiatan mahasiswa PPL disekolah  diamati dan dinilai oleh guru pamong. Hasil observasi awal diketahui nilai mahasiswa PPL pada umumya pada kriteria yang tinggi (A, B+ dan B). Nilai tersebut belum memberikan kontribusi terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa PPL dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran karena masih ada mahasiswa PPL yang belum mampu mengelola kelas dengan benar dan belum menguasai materi dengan baik. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat hubungan persepsi guru pamong dengan nilai mahasiswa PPL Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi  FKIP Unsyiah di SMP Se-Kota Banda Aceh. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi guru pamong dengan nilai mahasiswa PPL Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi  FKIP Unsyiah di SMP Se-Kota  Banda Aceh. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh guru pamong mahasiswa PPL di SMP Se-kota Banda Aceh, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh populasi yaitu 31 guru pamong yang telah membimbing 41 mahasiswa PPL. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan data penelitian menggunakan rumus korelasi serial. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai korelasi serial 0,591, dan nilai korelasi chotomisasi  0,567, berada pada tingkat hubungan sedang. Hasil penghitungan koefiesien determinasi  diperoleh 32,1 persen. Hasil penghitungan signifikansi, diperoleh nilai thitung  4,28 dan nila ttabel 1,697, dengan demikian nilai thitung &gt; nilai ttabel, maka H0 ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tersebut, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara persepsi guru pamong dengan nilai mahasiswa PPL Program Studi Geografi FKIP Unsyiah di SMP Se-Kota Banda Aceh.</text>

Diantara berbagai usaha yang ada, usaha makanan menjadi salah satu usaha yang dilirik banyak pengusaha. Untuk memulai suatu usaha, seorang wirausahawan perlu mengidentifikasi serta mengevaluasi peluang pasar yang ada. Banyak faktor yang harus diperhatikan dalam memulai sebuah usaha baru yaitu faktor dari dalam usaha atau faktor internal dan faktor dari luar usaha atau faktor eksternal. Faktor internal terdiri dari modal, cita rasa, harga jual, ketersedian bahanbaku, lokasi usaha, pelayanan, kualitas dan promosi. Faktor eksternal terdiri dari faktor pasar, pemasok, teknologi, inovasi baru, berubahnya selera konsumen, dan pesaing. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi serta mengevaluasi peluang pasar usaha kentang spiral, untuk mengetahui faktor internal daneksternalapasaja yang mempengaruhiusahakentang spiral, dan mengetahui bagaimana peluang pasar usaha kentang spiral berdasarkan analisis SAP dan ETOP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan teknik pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder. Pada metode ini digunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Oppurtunity, Threat). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa wirausahawan mengidentifikasi peluang pasar usaha melalui ide wirausahawan, perilaku dan keputusan pembelian konsumen, dan mengidentifikasi persaingan. Berdasarkan analisis SAP, usaha kentang spiral berada pada posisi usaha aman dan berdasarkan analisis ETOP, usaha kentang spiral berada pada posisi usaha spekulatif. Posisi ini menunjukkan bahwa usaha kentang spiral memiliki peluang sukses yang tinggi dan kegagalan usaha yang tinggi juga. Hal ini disebabkan karena wirausahawan melakukan spekulasi terhadap usahanya sehingga usaha tersebut belum memiliki hasil yang pasti di masa depan. Ancaman terbesar dalam usaha kentang spiral adalah berubahnya selera konsumen. Among various businesses, food business becomes one of businesses that interest many entrepreneurs. To start a business, an entrepreneur needs to identify and to evaluate the market opportunities. Many factors must be considered in starting a new business, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors consist of capital, cuisine, price, the availability of raw materials, the location of business, service, quality and promotion. External factors consist of market factors, suppliers, technology, new innovation, the change of consumer taste, and competitors. The aims of this study are to identify and evaluate the market opportunity of spiral potato business, to determine the internal and external factors that influence spiral potato business, and to know how the market opportunity of spiral potato business is based on the analysis of SAP and ETOP. The method of study used was a survey method, with primary and secondary data collection techniques. This method uses descriptive analysis and SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Oppurtunity, Threat) analysis. This study shows that the entrepreneurs identify the market opportunity of their businesses through business entrepreneur idea, the behavior and purchasing decision of consumers, and identifying the competition. Based on the analysis of SAP, spiral potato business is in a safe business position and based on the analysis of ETOP, spiral potato business is in a speculative business position. This positions show that spiral potato business has a high probability of success and a high probability of failure as well. This is because the entrepreneurs make speculations on their business so that the business does not have definite result yet in the future. The biggest threat in spiral potato business is the change of consumer taste. To provide a large market opportunity of business, the entrepreneurs should have new idea and innovation to the product and the business so that the consumers will not change their tastes.Keywords: market opportunity, spiral potato business, entrepreneur</text>

High level of aluminium in acid soil can restrict nutrient and water. Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) have been shown to decrease plant yield losses in acid soil. The objective of this study was to examine the growth responses of green house-grown soy bean colonization by AMF. The experiment was conducted at Cikabayan experimental of Bogor Agricultural University from August 2003 to February 2004. Six genotypes soy bean that result of root bioassay treated by Al by saturated (Al 25 %, Al 50 %, and Al 75 %), field capacity (80 % and 40 % FC) and Inoculated by mycorrhizae (without AMF and by AMF). Root and shoot dry matter were higher in mycorrhizal than in non mycorrhizal plants.</text>

                <text>This descriptive qualitative study aims to determine the activities of students and teacher as well as the ability to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of team teaching method in the concept of chemical bonds. The subjects were 32 students of class X-1 SMAN 9 Tunas Bangsa Banda Aceh consisting of 18 female and 14 male. The data was collected through observation of students’ activity and teacher’s activity in implementing team teaching methods as well as providing a test at the end of the meeting. Data obtained from the observation suggests that the activity of students at each meeting (1st, 2nd and 3rd) increase significantly at 66.07%, 76.79% and 87.5%. Based on the observation, the ability of teachers in the implementation of team teaching increased from 73.44% in first meeting to 81.25% in the second meeting and 90.63% in the third meeting. Learning outcomes of students also increased as follows 62.5% (1st meeting), 81.25% (2nd meeting) and 93.75% (3rd meeting). Based on the results of study, it is can be concluded that the implementation of team teaching method can improve learning outcomes as well as student activity and the ability of teachers to implementing instructional material in the chemical bonds at SMAN 9 Tunas Bangsa Banda Aceh</text>
