The result showed that curry leaves extracted using water contain a higher amount of polyphenols than other solvent extracts, while for the salam leaves, ethanol (50%) extracts give a higher polyphenol content than others. Total polyphenols extracts had a positive correlation with antioxidant activity in both DPPH radical scavenging and ferric reducing power. Extracts that contain a high amount of polyphenols also exhibit high antioxidant activity. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkatan depresi pada penderita stroke. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Sampel penelitian adalah 50 orang penderita stroke yang berobat di Poliklinik Saraf Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin (RSUDZA) dan diambil secara accidental sampling. Tingkat depresi diukur menggunakan Beck Depression Inventory-II. Data dianalisis secara univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah penderita depresi adalah 48 orang (96%), yang terdiri atas tingkat depresi berat sebanyak 7 orang (14%), depresi sedang sebanyak 37 orang (74%), dan depresi ringan sebanyak 4 orang (8%). Tofu which is produced by grinding of soy bean produces high of amount wastewater, and is considered as one of the most polluting food-industrial effluent due to its high values of organic pollutants. This paper analyzed  some pollutants parameter discharged from tofu industries in Banda Aceh. The parameter of BOD, COD, MLSS, PO4-P NH3-N, Turbidity and pH were analyzed based on the standard method for the examination of water and wastewater, approved by the EPA. The COD and BOD of wastewater from tofu processing facilities in Banda Aceh is ranging from 5000-8500 and 3500-4500 mg/L, respectively. Perempuan lebih sering mengalami dermatitis kontak dibandingkan laki-laki. Atopi merupakan salah satu faktor predisposisi timbulnya dermatitis kontak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh atopi terhadap timbulnya dermatitis kontak pada mahasiswi Pendidikan Dokter Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini bersifat analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh dengan wawancara langsung pada responden. Uji statistik dengan menggunakan Chi Square diperoleh nilai p yang signifikan sebesar 0,00, ini berarti p < 0,05 maka secara statistik didapatkan hubungan antara atopi dengan dermatitis kontak dengan rasio prevalensi 2,17, artinya seseorang yang menderita atopi memiliki peluang sebesar 2,17 kali untuk mengalami dermatitis kontak dibandingkan dengan orang yang tidak menderita atopi. Bahan yang paling sering menyebabkan dermatitis kontak pada mahasiswi adalah deterjen dan kosmetik.
