Beberapa diantaranya adalah flavonoid, alkaloid, saponindan tanin yang berfungsi sebagai antibakteri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahuiaktivitas antibakteri ekstrak bunga Rosella terhadap Staphylococcus aureus dan Escherichia coli. BungaRosella diekstraksi dengan menggunakan pelarut etanol 96% dengan metode maserasi. Penelitian inimenggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap yang terdiri dari 4 kelompok perlakuan dan 2 kelompokkontrol dengan 3 kali pengulangan. Kelompok perlakuan terdiri dari konsentrasi ekstrak 12,5%, 25%,50% dan 75%. Kelompok kontrol terdiri dari kontrol positif (Amoksisilin 30 ?g sebagai kontrol positifStaphylococcus aureus dan Kloramfenikol 30 ?g sebagai kontrol positif Escherichia coli) dan kontrolnegatif (akuades steril). Uji aktivitas antibakteri dilakukan dengan metode difusi cakram Kirby-Bauer.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol bunga Rosella memiliki aktivitas antibakteri padakonsentrasi 12,5%, 25%, 50% dan 75% terhadap Staphylococcus aureus dengan diameter zona hambatrata-rata berturut-turut 13,67 mm, 17,67 mm, 22,67 mm, 25,33 mm dan terhadap Escherichia colidengan diameter zona hambat rata-rata berturut-turut adalah 6,33 mm, 10,67 mm, 17,67 mm, 19,67mm. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan denganUji Duncan (P < 0,01) menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol bunga Rosella memiliki aktivitas antibakteriyang sangat nyata terhadap Staphylococcus aureus dan Escherichia coli dan semakin tinggi konsentrasi,semakin luas zona hambat yang terbentuk.Kata Kunci: Hibiscus sabdariffa L., aktivitas antibakteri, Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli. The research utilized total magnetic anomaly secondary data to perform quantitative interpretation. The total magnetic anomaly data was then transformed into flat field, reduced to a pole and carried upward continuation until at an altitude of 4000 MSL to separate local anomaly and regional anomaly. Based on the qualitative interpretation of the anomalous magnetic field, it indicates a normal fault with the direction of northeast – southwest and northwest – southeast. In the research, quantitative interpretation was done to local anomaly by selecting two locations that showed the presence of lineament patterns in the contour. Modelling was conducted by using Mag2DC software. Status kesehatan gigi dan mulut sangat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah faktor umur, seperti pada remaja dan anak-anak. Masa remaja adalah masa peralihan manusia dari anak-anak menuju dewasa, yang berjalan antara umur 12-21 tahun. Pada masa remaja terjadi perubahan hormonal. Perubahan hormonal ini mempengaruhi kesehatan periodontal. Kesehatan periodontal dapat berpengaruh pada status kebersihan gigi dan mulut. Status kebersihan gigi dan mulut dapat ditentukan dengan menggunakan Simplified Oral Hygiene Index (OHI-S) yang menjumlahkan Simplified Debris Index (DI-S) dan Simplified Calculus Index (CI-S), masing-masing dari indeks tersebut ditentukan dari jumlah debris dan kalkulus pada 6 permukaan gigi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kebersihan gigi dan mulut murid SMP Negeri 3 usia 12-14 tahun Kecamatan Baiturrahman Banda Aceh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif cross sectional. Subjek penelitian adalah murid SMP Negeri 3 usia 12-14 tahun Kecamatan Baiturrahman Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 96 murid. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, gambaran akumulasi debris murid SMP Negeri 3 usia 12-14 tahun adalah sedang yaitu sebesar 70,83%, dan gambaran akumulasi kalkulus adalah baik yaitu sebesar 65,63%. Dapat disimpulkan gambaran kebersihan gigi dan mulut adalah baik yaitu sebesar 57,29%. Dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid (DBSA) was used as catalyst and emulsifier. The various methods for preparing Polyurethane /clay Nano composites, but in this research the author choice by a pre-polymer method and were evaluated by Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectra to determine micro-domain structures of segmented PU. The molecular weight (MW) of polyol was obtained by using gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and the result was about 950. The micro domain structures of the segmented PU were analysed by FTIR by following the work of Seymour et al. to estimate the degree of phase separation in segmented PU. The formation of hydrogen bonding by –C=O group can be determined by examining the peak position at 1709 cm-1 for hydrogen bonded –C=O and at 1731 cm-1 for free –C=O. The molecular weight (MW) of PU based on palm oil was about 3.266.
