The objective of this research was to found the optimum concentration of honey for sex reversal of male tilapia.   The  non factorial completely randomize design was used for this research, the factor that has been examined were honey concentrations at level of  0%, 0.05 %, 0.1%, 0.15 % and 0.2 % for 24 hours submersion. The data were subjected to Anova test and followed by BNT test. The results showed that the differences of honey concentrations was significantly influence the   percentage of male tilapia (P<0.05), but did not affect significantly on the survival rates. (P>0.05). In general, the percentage of male tilapia was increased with increasing the honey concentrations, where the higher percentage of male was found at 0.2 % (81.43%), and it was different significantly with other concentrations. It is concluded that 0.2% of honey is  suitable for male tilapia sex reversal.Keywords: Honey; Sex reversal; Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus); Male; SubmersionAbstrak.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui konsentrasi madu yang efektif menghasilkan ikan nila (O. niloticus)  kelamin jantan yang paling tinggi. Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial digunakan dalam penelitian ini, faktor yang diuji adalah perbedaan konsentrasi madu, yaitu 0 %(kontrol), 0,05 %, 0,1 %, 0,15 % dan 0,2% ppt selama 24 jam perendaman. Hasil uji ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan konsentrasi madu berpengaruh nyata terhiadap persentase nila jantan yang dihasilkan (P<0,05), namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kelulushidupan baik selama perendaman maupun pemeliharaan (P>0,05). Secara umum terlihat persentase kelamin jantan meningkat seiring dengan peningkatan konsentrasi madu dalam larutan perendam. Uji lanjut menggunakan BNJ memperlihatkan bahwa persentase nila jantan tertinggi dijumpai pada  konsentrasi 0,2% (81,43%±0,23), nilai ini berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan lainnya. Orf merupakan suatu penyakit viral yang mempunyai derajatsangat infeksius dan bersifat zoonosis. Kerugian yang ditimbulkan adalah penurunanharga dagang ternak kambing yang terinfeksi karena menyebabkan gangguanpertumbuhan (kehilangan berat badan) dan penampilan ternak yang jelek. Beritakerugian ekonomis akibat ternak terinfeksi Orf sudah banyak dilaporkan dibeberapanegara, akan tetapi di Indonesia, data yang berisi informasi tersebut dan prevalensikejadian penyakit ini sangat kurang. Suatu penelitian untuk memperoleh informasidan prevalensi kejadian penyakit Orf pernah dilakukan di salah satu kecamatan dalamwilayah Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Kabupaten ini dipilih karena merupakan pemasokternak kambing untuk wilayah sekitarnya dan diperoleh hasil berupa nilai prevalensiyang sangat kecil. Diperkirakan tingkat kejadian penyakit akan lebih tinggi biladilakukan studi di pasar hewan yang terdapat dalam Kabupaten tersebut.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat prevalensi dan nilai ekonomispada kambing terinfeksi Orf yang diperdagangkan di 3 pasar hewan dalam KabupatenAceh Besar, yaitu pasar hewan Seulimum, Sibreh dan Ulee Kareng. Metode yangdigunakan adalah studi observasi potong-lintang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalahseluruh pedagang ternak kambing, sementara sampelnya adalah ternak kambing yangdipilih menggunakan teknik sampling acak sederhana. Pengisian kuisioner dilakukankepada responden yang dipilih secara cuplikan disengaja menggunakan teknikwawancara. Diagnosa penyakit Orf pada ternak kambing dilakukan dengan melihatkemungkinan terdapatnya gejala klinis, selanjutnya dimasukkan kedalam lembarpencatatan data. Data dianalisa secara deskriptif analitik.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi penyakit Orf di 3 pasarhewan dalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar sebesar 3,4%, kemudian diketahui juga bahwanilai ekonomis ternak kambing yang terinfeksi Orf adalah dibawah Rp. 1.500.000.Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah harga ternak kambing yang terinfeksi Orfcenderung lebih rendah dibanding yang sehat, sehingga keuntungan yang diperolehjuga rendahviiSUMMARYADHONA BHAJANA WIJAYA NEGARA. It is estimated that thedisease incidence rate will be higher when the market performed in animal studiescontained in the district.This study aims to determine the prevalence and economical value in goatswho infected with Orf that traded in 3 livestock market in Aceh Besar district, whichis Seulimum, Sibreh and Ulee Kareng livestock market. This method used the crosssectionalobservational study. The population in this study is all of goat seller, whilethe selected goat sample using simple random sampling technique. The questionnaireis filled by using interview techniques to the respondents who selected with purposivesampling. Diagnoses of Orf disease in goats performed by looking at the possibilityof the presence of clinical symptoms, afterward the data included into recordingsheets. Data were analyzed by descriptive analytic.The results showed that the prevalence of the Orf disease in 3 livestockmarket in Aceh Besar district is 3.4%, and then is known too that the economicalvalue of goats who infected with Orf it is below 1.500.000 rupiah. The conclusion ofthis study is the price of goats infected with Orf tend to be lower than the healthy,thus the profit also low. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Penyusunan program supervisi pengajaran dilakukan setiap awal tahun ajaran, dalam bentuk kegiatan observasi kelas, pertemuan individu, rapat staf, bimbingan senior, workshop, pelatihan dan izin belajar. (2) Pelaksanaan supervisi; Kegiatan observasi kelas dilakukan dengan cara kepala sekolah mendatangi kelas untuk melihat secara langsung kemampuan guru mengajar. Pertemuan individu dilakukan pada saat ada guru yang melakukan pelanggaran disiplin, konflik intern baik antara guru dengan sejawat atau antara guru dengan siswa. Kegiatan workshop dijadwalkan dan dimasukkan dalam Rencana Anggaran Belanja Sekolah.
