<text>Information system and data is a very important thing nowadays. An information system especially a database is designed with a high data availability. One of the database systems is MySQL cluster. Sometimes, its performance decreased because of the system’s incapablity to handle the data. To overcome this problem, the research of load balancing systems for MySQL cluster is needed. This research is intended to analyze the effect of load balancing clustering methods on MySQL cluster which by default has been set as failover clustering. The analysis is done through data collection and database transactions test to get the number of Transactions per second (TPS) and response time parameter using SysBench. The test is divided into two main scenarios, the simple and complex-mode that running on 4 computers. The tests were conducted by giving workloads from 8 up to 128 threads respectively to the server through a client on default conditions and load balancing. The test results showed the number of TPS at MySQL cluster default is 536.61. In contrast, number of TPS at load balancing is better at 2261.22. Likewise, the response time at MySQL cluster load balancing is 147.55 ms faster than that of the default one at 335.00 ms.</text>

<text>Thermocline is often observed in the open ocean and can be as a seasonal phenomenon in the shallower part of the ocean or as a permanent one that is usually seen in the deeper part of the open ocean. There are different forcing and climatic parameters that affect the thermocline development in the PG fromwinter to summer. These include tide, river inflow, solar radiation, evaporation, northwesterly wind and water exchange with the Oman Sea. Thermocline development that evolves from east to west is studied using numerical simulation and comparing the results with some existing observations. Results show that as the northwesterly wind in winter, at summer transition period, weakens the fresher inflow from Oman Sea can penetrate much further into the PG and the lake of wind lowers mixing which with stronger solar radiation lead to the near surface thermocline formation and its development from winter to summer even over the northwestern part of the PG. The analysis results show that for the more realistic monthly averaged wind experiments the thermocline develops as is indicated by summer observations. The results indicate that weaker winds and particularly stronger solar radiation in summer months can lead to an intense thermocline in the whole of the PG including in the northern part and vice versa for winter</text>

<text>The aim of the present study was to analyse the peel waste of Xylocarpus granatum fruits as potential source of tyrosinase inhibitors. Dried peel samples were ground to yield a powder (simplicia). Subsequently, they were extracted with organic solvents of distinct polarity levels, namely n-hexane (non-polar), chloroform (semi-polar) and methanol (polar) by use of the single-maceration method. Inhibitory effects on tyrosinase activity (monophenolase) and DOPA auto-oxidation (diphenolase) were determined in bioassays. Assays with the methanol extract revealed IC50 values of 784.87 μg mL-1 (monophenolase) and of 1176.66 μg mL-1 (diphenolase), respectively. In contrast, n-hexane and chloroform extracts showed no activity. These results indicate that the methanolic fruit peel extract contained tyrosinase-inhibiting compounds, such as flavonoids, tannins and saponins, whereas the n-hexane and chloroform extracts yielded alkaloids, steroids and triterpenoids without tyrosinase-inhibiting activity. The phenolic compounds had a strong effect on the tyrosinase enzymes, inhibiting monophenolases by 97% and diphenolases by 96%, with a positive correlation between the total phenolic content and the inhibition rate in both activities.</text>
