Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak hubungan kebiasaan merokok terhadap risiko terjadinya faringitis kronik di RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional. Sampel yang digunakan adalah pasien yang menderita faringitis kronik yang didiagnosis oleh dokter spesialis THT di poliklinik THT-KL di RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode aksidental (accidental sampling) sebanyak 30 responden. Data kuesioner yang diperoleh dari 30 responden dianalisis secara deskriptif, kemudian untuk mencari hubungan kebiasaan merokok terhadap risiko terjadinya faringitis kronik.. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa dari 30 sampel penelitian mayoritas kisaran usia penderita faringitis kronik yang merokok adalah 21-30 tahun sebanyak 10 responden (33,33%), ada 29 responden (96,67%) berjenis kelamin laki-laki, ada 28 responden (93,33%) periode merokok lebih dari 5 tahun, ada 20 responden (66,67%) melakukannya dari usia 15-20 tahun, 15 responden (50%) mengkonsumsi 21-30 batang rokok per hari, 29 responden (96,67%) yang mengkonsumsi jenis rokok filter, ada 22 responden (73,33%) yang memiliki kebiasaan merokok dengan frekuensi yang lebih tinggi, ada 23 responden (76,67%) positif mengalami faringitis kronik dengan derajat gejala yang lebih tinggi dan ada 20 responden (90,9%) yang memiliki kebiasaan merokok yang berhubungan dengan faringitis kronik sehingga diperoleh dari hasil uji Chi-Square Pvalue sebesar 0,007 yang lebih kecil dari tingkat signifikansi 0,05 sehingga hipotesis penelitian yang menyatakan ada hubungan signifikansi antara kebiasaan merokok terhadap risiko terjadinya faringitis kronik dapat diterima. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pengetahuan mengenai bahaya merokok terhadap kesehatan khususnya pada penderita faringitis kronik.Kata Kunci: merokok, faringitis, faringitis kronik, rokokABTRACTDangers of smoking on health has been researched and proven by many people along with the adverse effects caused by smoking were already clearly known and many studies have shown that smoking increases the risk of various diseases one of which is chronic pharyngitis. The purpose of this study was to ascertain whether or not the relationship of smoking to the risk of chronic pharyngitis in dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. This type of research is a descriptive analytic study using cross-sectional design. The samples used were patients suffering from chronic pharyngitis diagnosed by the ENT specialist in the ENT clinic at dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh with the sampling technique using accidental (accidental sampling) by 30 respondents. Questionnaire data obtained from 30 respondents were analyzed descriptively, and then to find the relationship of smoking to the risk of chronic pharyngitis .. The results showed that the majority of the study sample of 30 patients ranging in age from chronic pharyngitis is 21-30 years who smoked as many as 10 respondents (33.33%), there were 29 respondents (96.67%) male sex, there were 28 respondents (93 , 33%) smoked more than a period of 5 years, there were 20 respondents (66.67%) do so from the age of 15-20 years, 15 respondents (50%) consumed 21-30 cigarettes per day, 29 respondents (96.67% ) that consume the cigarette filter, there were 22 respondents (73.33%) who had a habit of smoking with higher frequencies, there were 23 respondents (76.67%) positive for chronic pharyngitis with a higher degree of symptoms and there were 20 respondents ( 90.9%) who had a habit of smoking-related chronic pharyngitis that obtained from the Chi-Square test pvalue of 0.007 which is smaller than the 0.05 level research hypothesis stating that there is a relationship between smoking significance for the risk of chronic pharyngitis acceptable. Semakin banyak stresor yang dialami maka akan semakin tinggi tingkat stres yang diderita. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran stres melalui distribusi frekuensi berdasarkan tingkat stres dan distribusi frekuensi berdasarkan stresor. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 231 orang mahasiswa tahun pertama program studi Pendidikan Dokter Fakultas Kedokteran (FK) Unsyiah. Setiap subjek penelitian diberikan Student-life Stress Inventory untuk diisi kemudian dilakukan koreksi. Data dianalisis secara univariat dan dideskripsikan dalam bentuk distribusi frekuensi dan persentase. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data terhadap 231 sampel diperoleh hasil, penderita stres berat sebanyak 145 orang (62,8%), penderita stres sedang sebanyak 65 orang (28,1%), dan penderita stres ringan sebanyak 21 orang (9,1%). Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, frekuensi stresor terbesar pada sampel yaitu perubahan teman sebanyak 192 orang (83,1%), prestasi belum tercapai 183 orang (79,2%), dan perubahan kebiasaan makan 178 orang (77,1%). Dapat disimpulkan, tingkat stres yang paling banyak dialami oleh mahasiswa tahun pertama FK Unsyiah adalah stres berat dan stresor terbesar yang dialami adalah perubahan teman.Kata kunci: stres, mahasiswa, kedokteran, tahun pertama? Karbon tetraklorida dosis tunggal 0,014 dan 0,14 ml/20 g bobot badan mencit diberikan secara intraperitoneum pada mencit bunting, lalu diamati kerusakan yang terjadi pada hati. Kerusakan hati ditandai dengan peningkatan kadar enzim alanin transaminase (ALT), aspartat transaminase (AST) dalam serum, dan gambaran histopatologi hati. Dibandingkan dengan kont rol, pemberian CCl4 dosis 0,014 ml/20 g bobot badan mengakibatkan peningkatan ALT dan AST, bahkan pada dosis 0,14 ml/20 g bobot badan mengakibatkan induk mati dalam waktu kurang dari 24 jam setelah perlakuan. Gambaran histopatologis sel-sel hati pada kelompok mencit bunting yang mendapatkan CCl4 0,014 ml/20 g bobot badan menunjukkan terjadinya steatosis. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian karbon tetraklorida pada induk bunting menimbulkan kerusakan seiring peningkatan dosis yang diinduksikan, bahkan berakibat kematian . This experiment was conducted on the cogasification of various types of coal and biomass using drop tube gasifier under two sets temperatures 1173 and 1273K respectively. Most of the reactions are considered as endothermic, the heat input is needed to conduct the reactions. The additions of biomass to NL coal during co-gasification give no effect on gasification, since the reaction is endothermic. To achieve the goal of this study, the experimental design method was used with an experimental class and a control class. The sample of study was a class of 45 students as the experimental class and another class of 45 students as the control class. The instruments used for the study were tests. The data was analyzed through statistical formula including finding the frequency distribution, range (R), class of data (K), class of interval (I), mean, standard deviation, and Z-score. The results showed that the Z-score pre-test of experimental and the control classes was 1.3 (Z count<Z table) in which the Z table was 2.04.  This means that there was no significant difference between the scores of both classes in pre-treatment. However, in post-treatment the Z-score for the experimental class and control classes was 5.1 (Z count>Z table) which indicated that there was a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in post-treatment. In conclusion, ENET can be applied as an alternative technique in teaching speaking. The research hypothesis (Ha) is also proven that the use of ENET provides a positive contribution for the development of students’ speaking performance.
