Salah satu kemampuan yang paling penting dalam bermain sepak bola adalah menembak ke gawang. Kemampuan seseorang untuk melakukan shooting diperlukan power otot tungkai yang baik tidak hanya itu bentuk tubuh (anatomi) juga diperlukan untuk menjaga kesimbangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar Hubungan power otot tungkai dan keseimbangan dengan kemampuan shooting pada tim sepak bola SMU Negeri 5 Banda Aceh Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini temasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian korelasional yaitu penelitian yang bermaksud mengetahui hubungan satu variable X atau lebih terhadap variabel Y, dalam hal ini hubungan kekuatan otot tungkai (variable X1) dan Keseimbangan (variabel X2) dengan Kemampuan shooting (variable Y). Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa yang tergabung dalam tim sepak bola SMU Negeri 5 Banda Aceh tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 20 orang. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan rumus korelasi product moment dan teknik uji t pada taraf signifikansi 95%. Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai rx1x2y = sebesar 0.9616. Sedangkan nilai th (t hitung) = 15.20, lebih besar dari nilai tt pada taraf signifikansi 95% adalah 2.11. Artinya nilai Fh = 15.02 > nilai Ft = 2.11.
