Various efforts have been made to speed up non-productive period, including the application of exogenous growth regulators. This study aims to analyze content auxin hormone found in some clones and plant age during immature rubber. This research was conducted descriptive / review directly to the field by taking leaf samples at the clones PB 260, PB 340 and RRIM 712 which have been determined. To determine the levels of hormones contained in rubber leaf, leaf samples were analyzed at the Research Center for Biology Indonesian Institute of Sciences in Bogor. Observation auxin hormone levels. The results showed that the type clones and different plant age have different content auxint. The highest content of auxin there at the age of 2 years is the plant on clones PB 260 (116.5 ppm) and RRIM 712 (114.0 ppm). Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah AMIU yang di ambil dari 5 depot AMIU yang berasal dari Desa Ilie Kecamatan Ulee Kareng Kota Banda Aceh. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan tiga kali dengan interval waktu 1 minggu. Data hasil yang di peroleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Setelah laktosa broth diinkubasikan dalam inkubator dengan suhu 370C selama 48 jam tidak terbentuk gas di dalam tabung Durham, ini menujukan hasil negatif terhadap uji sangkaan (Presumtive Test), jadi tidak diteruskan lagi ke uji lainnya. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa AMIU dari 5 depot di Desa Ilie Kecamatan Ulee Kareng Kota Banda Aceh negatif (-) terhadap kontaminasi oleh bakteri Coliform.Contamination of Coliform in the Refill Water at Ilie village, Sub- District of Ulee Kareng, Banda Aceh CityABSTRACTThe purpose of this study to find out Coliform bacteria contamination in the refill water (AMIU) located in Ilie village, Sub- District of Ulee Kareng, Banda Aceh City. The methods used in this researd presumtive, confirmed, and completed test. Samples of this study were refill water (AMIU) collected from 5 refill water shops located in Ilie village, Sub- District of Ulee Kareng, Banda Aceh City. The samples were collected 3 times within the interval period of one week. The data was presented using a descriptive analysis. After lactose broth were incubated at 370c for 48 hour there is no gas in Durham tube. This test showed negative results it on presumptive, no trus longer followed by the other test. It can be concluded that AMIU of 5 depots in Ilie village, Sub- District of Ulee Kareng, Banda Aceh City were not contaminated by Coliform bacteria. Hemp offers characteristics that are similar to wood properties. In line with this research, three-layered particleboards under utilization of hemp material were developed. The hemp was used in combination with industrial produced particles to find out which amount of wood can be substituted by hemp and further to investigate which decreased densities can be realized by the use of hemp. Hemp can be used for the production of lightweight particleboards due to its lower bulk density compared to wood. All developed hemp/wood based particleboards were produced under industrial parameters in laboratory and pilot scale using conventional urea formaldehyde-resin, hardeners, and hydrophobic substances. The mechanical technological properties of all produced innovative particleboards and reference particleboards were determined according to current DIN/EN standards. In detail density profile, bending strength, internal bond strength, surface strength, and thickness swelling were determined. Compared to the produced reference particleboards, consisting only of wood particles, the developed hemp/wood particleboards possessed better mechanical-technological properties. Furthermore it was realized to produce particleboards with densities of 550 kg/m³ by using hemp due to its low bulk density which fulfills the given DIN/EN requirements. Other problems caused by the waste are unpleasant colour and an inferable smell. The appropriate treatment is needed for solving the problems. The growth of algae in the pool of waste was suggested as the propertreatment for sugar wastewater. The aim of this research was to study the use of Chlorella vulgaris for the treatment of artificial waste water. Chlorella vulgaris was cultured in artificial wastewater having low pH.Pseudomonas putida was used to supply CO2 for photosynthesis process in a lagoon tank and it was added at the second day. Polyacrylate polyalcohol was also introduced to provide buoyancy effect of the medium All of the experiments were conducted in a rectangular tank using the artificial illumination and it wasalso equipped by air pump to supply oxygen and circulate the waste in the tank. pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Optical Density (OD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Total Nitrogen (TN) were measured daily during the experiments. COD was successfully reduced up to 6900 mg/l and 29% of COD removal at the fourth day. The low pH experiments demonstrated the effectiveness of a consortium of algae and bacteria at TN removal from wastewater by reducing the TN from 70 mg/l to below 35 mg/l.
