Penelitian ini mengangkat masalah apakah hambatan guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS terpadu di MTsN Model Banda Aceh dan upaya apa yang dilakukan guru untuk mengatasi hambatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS terpadu di MTsN Model Banda Aceh. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi hambatan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS terpadu dan untuk mengetahui upaya apa yang dilakukan guru dalam mengatasi hambatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS terpadu di MTsN Model Banda Aceh. Informan dalam penelitian adalah guru IPS terpadu yang berjumlah enam orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif, data diperoleh dengan cara wawancara mendalam. Teknik analisis data menekankan penjelasan serta penguraian data melalui cerita tentang peristiwa yang telah diteliti. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kendala yang dialami guru dalam pembelajaran IPS terpadu di MTsN Model Banda Aceh yaitu penguasaan materi, kurangnya waktu bertatap muka dalam pembelajaran, dan kurangnya minat belajar siswa terhadap mata pelajaran IPS. Upaya yang dilakukan guru bidang studi IPS terpadu untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah lebih banyak membaca atau menambah referensi untuk bahan ajar, mencari bahan di internet dan sharing sesama guru mata pelajaran, penggunaan waktu seefektif mungkin, dan memberikan motivasi kepada siswa pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung yaitu dengan menerapkan berbagai macam model pembelajaran. The result showed that heating caused a decrease of DPPH scavenging activity of lauric acid but did not affected on ABTS scavenging activity of both lauric acid and virgin coconut oil. However, ABTS scavenging activity of p-hydroxycinnamic acid and the paste extract in both lauric acid and virgin coconut oil systems increased after thermal processing. In the system of lauric acid, peroxide value (PV) of almost mixtures was increased (p<0.05) by heating. Thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) of the mixtures were not significantly different (p<0.05) after thermal processing while p-anisidine value (AV) of only lauric acid-gallic was enhanced after heating. The results showed that PV of virgin coconut oil added with all tested antioxidant was not changed after heating. TBARS of virgin coconut oil added with antioxidant samples seemed to slightly increase after heating. Erika, Cut Ermaya, Dewi Date A point or period of time associated with an event in the lifecycle of the resource 2011-12-15 Description An account of the resource Patchouli oil from patchouli plant (Pogostemon cablin Benth) is one of important essential oils as a source of Indonesian foreign exchange.  It is about 90% of world patchouli oil from Indonesia (Suara Merdeka, 2006). The objectives of this research were to assess the yield and quality of patchouli oils from four different villages in the sub district of Kuala Batee, Aceh Barat Daya based on the original area of raw material and the method of distillation, also based on length of distillation. The nested design was used in this research with the treatment of two factors combination, with the level of one factor similar but not identical. The treatments were the original area of raw material and the distillation method used in the original area of the raw material (BM1-4), and the length of distillation (5, 6, and 7 hours). Parameter observed were yield, specific gravity, refractive index, alcohol solubility, the concentration of patchouli alcohol, ester number, acid number, and the sensory test on color and clarity.  The results indicated that the original area of raw material and distillation method (BM) had a significant effect on yield, refractive index, clarity, and acid number. The yield was 2.85%-4.5%, and patchouli oil from BM4 and BM2 gave higher yield but lower patchouli alcohol concentration, and clarity. The results also indicated that the longer time of distillation the higher patchouli oil yield, specific gravity, and patchouli alcohol concentration. However, it affected the lower alcohol solubility and clarity, the higher ester number, and the darker color of the patchouli oil. The concentration of patchouli alcohol in this study ranges from 21.36% to 34.03%.
