Beton memiliki sifat yang utama adalah kemampuannya yang tinggi dalam menahan beban tekan. Dengan alasan Aceh merupakan daerah rawan gempa, maka kuat geser beton menjadi perhatian yang penting. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kuat geser beton menggunakan superplasticizer yang berbeda dengan persentase 1%; 1,5% dan 2% dan silicafume sebanyak 8% dari total berat semen. Benda uji yang digunakan untuk pengujian geser berbentuk balok berukuran 30 cm x 30 cm x 10 cm. Dalam penelitian ini nilai FAS yang digunakan yaitu 0,3. Diameter maksimum agregat yang digunakan 16 mm. Superplasticizer yang digunakan terdiri dari dua macam yaitu sikament LN dan Sikament NN. Pengujian geser untuk masing - masing variabel 3 buah benda uji sehingga jumlah total benda uji pada penelitian ini sebanyak 36 buah dengan metode perawatan direndam dalam air. Pengujian dilakukan pada umur 7 hari dan 28 hari. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Sikament NN lebih baik dibandingkan dengan Sikament LN terhadap kuat geser beton. Besar persentase penggunaan superplasticizer juga berpengaruh terhadap kuat geser beton. Kuat geser tertinggi untuk umur 28 hari pada penggunaan persentase 1% sebesar 60,156 kg/cm2 dan untuk kuat geser terendah terjadi pada persentase 2% sebesar 40,978 kg/cm2. Untuk Sikament NN, kuat geser terbesar terjadi pada persentase 1,5% yaitu 70,444 kg/cm2; sedangkan kuat geser terendah terjadi pada persentase 2% yaitu 59,800 kg/cm2. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan penggunaan Sikament NN lebih baik dari pada penggunaan Sikament LN.Kata Kunci : Beton Mutu Tinggi, Superplasticizer, Sikamen LN, Sikamen NN dan Kuat Geser Murni.
