Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi mahasiswa matematika dalam memilih Program Studi Matematika FMIPA Unsyiah, mengetahui faktor yang paling berpengaruh dominan dan faktor apa saja yang berpengaruh berdasarkan promosi jurusan. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yaitu data yang diperoleh dari pembagian kuesioner kepada mahasiswa aktif Prodi Matematika FMIPA Unsyiah angkatan 2008-2013. Analisis yang digunakan adalah metode CART (Classification and Regression Trees). Hasil dari analisis pohon klasifikasi diprediksikan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi mahasiswa matematika dalam memilih Program Studi Matematika adalah anjuran sekolah, suka dengan pelajaran matematika, prodi yang sedang diminati banyak orang, anjuran keluarga, mempunyai saudara atau kenalan, biaya pendidikan, dan informasi. Faktor paling dominan adalah anjuran sekolah dan biaya pendidikan. Berdasarkan promosi jurusan faktor yang paling berpengaruh adalah guru, keluarga, brosur dan website. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam aerobik dalam menurunkan derajat nyeri dismenorea pada wanita usia 20-25 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik quasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest dengan jumlah sampel 15 orang mahasiswi Kedokteran Unsyiah. Waktu penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret 2011 sampai April 2012. Hasil rata-rata skor nyeri dismenorea menggunakan Numerical Rating Scale (NRS); pretest (6,26) dan posttest (3,26). Hasil uji t-test berpasangan menunjukkan nilai p=0,00. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa senam aerobik dapat menurunkan derajat nyeri dismenorea pada wanita usia 20-25 tahun.
