Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terhadap aspek pengangkutan didapatkan skor 20 dengan persentase 50% dikategorikan cukup. Aspek penampungan didapatkan skor 33 dengan persentase 82,5% dikategorikan baik, dan aspek penyembelihan didapatkan skor 32 dengan persentase 80% dikategorikan baik. Berdasarkan penilaian skoring aspek penampungan dan aspek penyembelihan, kesejahteraan hewan pada sapi yang dipotong di RPH Kotamadya Banda Aceh dinilai baik dalam memenuhi aspek kesejahteraan hewan, sedangkan pada aspek pengangkutan dinilai cukup dalam memenuhi kesejahteraan hewan terhadap sapi yang dipotong di RPH. Study the Animal Welfare Aspect of the Cattle Slaughtered in the Slauhgterhouse in Banda AcehABSTRACTThis study was conducted to obtain the information about animal welfare of the cattle slaughtered in the Slaughterhouse in Banda Aceh. The animal welfare parameter was observed related to the transport aspect, shelter aspect and slaughter aspect. The three aspect compared to Meat Livestock Australia (MLA) and Standard National Indonesian 02-4509-1998 recommended. Methodology used to determine the animal welfare conducted by scoring valuation. The result of study showed that transport aspect get a score at 20 with a percentage 50% this was categorized as sufficient. Shelter aspect get a score at 33 with a percentage 82,5% this was categorized as good, and slaughter aspect get a score at 32 with a percentage 80% this was categorized as good. The main sources of omega-3 fatty acids are fatty fish species such as herring, mackerel, sardine and salmon. Oils from the marine algae Cryptecondium conchii are mainly rich in DHA only, while fish oil contains both EPA & DHA. Why is it important to microencapsulate EPA & DHA? Because these fatty acids cannot be synthesized by the human body but have to be obtained through nutrition uptake. The beneficial effects of these fatty acids including lowering cholesterol, decreasing the risk of arrhythmia, lowering the blood pressure, preventing diabetes in pregnancy, and positive effects on joints (relief of arthritis). EPA and DHA also play an important role in early infant nutrition and the imbalance of these fatty acids is believed to cause a variety of diseases. Because of their sensitivity to oxidation, these fatty acids need to be stabilized to protect them from oxidation. In food application, their interaction with other food ingredients needs to be prevented. Attempts to prevent oxidation to allow omega-3 fatty acids to fulfill their functions are not trouble-free. Fish oils in their natural state have a taste and smell that make them less attractive to consumers. Processing technology for masking the smell and taste of fish oil in food faces great challenges. Therefore, to address the problems concerning the susceptibility of fish oil to oxidation and its unpleasant smell, microencapsulation, where the oil is packaged within coating materials, may be used to replace bulk oils. Hipertensi disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, diantaranya pola makan dan aktivitas fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola makan dan aktivitas fisik dengan hipertensi. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan dari tanggal 23 November - 31 Desember 2011 di Poliklinik Penyakit Dalam Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Desain penelitian adalah penelitian dekskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Jumlah responden sebanyak 81 orang yang diambil secara consecutive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan metode wawancara terpimpin. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji chi-square memakai program SPSS dengan ? 0,05 dan CI 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara pola makan dan aktivitas fisik dengan hipertensi (p ? 0,05) yaitu variabel pola makan dengan p= 0,013, RR = 2,012 dan variabel aktivitas fisik dengan nilai p = 0,008.
