Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktor tunggal yaitu rasio pasta ubi jalar ungu dan tepung terigu yang terdiri atas 7 taraf : 80:20, 70:30, 60:40, 50:50, 40:60, 30:70, 20:80, dari total tepung yang digunakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 3 (tiga) kali ulangan, sehingga diperoleh 21 (dua puluh tujuh) satuan percobaan. Analisis yang dilakukan yaitu analisis pada pasta ubi jalar ungu yang meliputi antosianin, dan analisis pada produk donat yang dihasilkan meliputi rasio pengembangan dan daya terima atau uji organoleptik (tektur, rasa, warna dan aroma) serta analisis antosianin pada donat dengan perlakuan terbaik. Rasio pasta ubi jalar dan tepung terigu berpengaruh sangat nyata (P?0,01) terhadap kadar air, rasio pengembangan adonan, dan sifat hedonik warna dan berpengaruh nyata (P?0,05) terhadap sifat hedonik rasa, dan aroma donat. Rasio pasta ubi jalar dan tepung terigu memberikan pengaruh yang tidak nyata (P.0>0,05) terhadap nilai hedonik tekstur pada donat. Perlakuan terbaik pada pembuatan donat berdasarkan nilai hedonik diperoleh pada perlakuan terbaik pasta ubi jalar ungu dan tepung terigu dengan karakteristik sebagai berikut: tekstur (3,02%), rasa (3,57%) warna (3,57%) dan aroma (3,33%). Nilai hedonik yang diperoleh juga menunjukkan bahwa donat yang dihasilkan dengan substitusi pasta ubi jalar ungu hingga 80% masih memiliki daya terima tinggi. Donat dengan perlakuan 80:20 memiliki total antosianin sebesar 2,95 mg/100gr bahan segar. Donat yang dihasilkan mengalami penurunan total antosianin sebesar 74,55% dibandingkan total antosianin pada pasta ubi jalar 15,17 mg/100g. Penelitian ini berbentuk deskriptif eksploratif. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan metode total sampling terhadap 53 responden di kecamatan Indrapuri yang dilakukan pada tanggal 23 Mei sampai 06 juni 2014. Alat pengumpul data berupa kuesioner terdiri dari 25 item pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa faktor genetik berada pada kategori memilki riwayat keluarga diabetes (90,6%), faktor usia berada pada kategori dewasa tengah (90,6%), faktor obesitas berada pada kategori tidak obesitas (98,1%), faktor gaya hidup berada pada kategori kurang baik (52,8%) dan faktor pola makan berada pada kategori kurang baik (58,5%). Sampel yang diambil hanya dua kelas, yakni kelas VIIIc sebanyak 27 siswa dan kelas VIIID sebanyak 25 siswa. Penentuan sample dilakukan secara Purposive Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa pemberian tes kepada siswa, yakni pre test dan post test. Teknik pengolahan data dilakukan dengan uji-t. Hasil pengolahan data yang diperoleh adalah thitung = 4,72 dan nilai ttabel pada taraf signifikan ? = 0,05 (uji satu pihak) dengan dk = 50 adalah 1,68. Oleh karena itu terima Ha jika thitung > ttabel dengan thitung = 4,72 dan ttabel = 1,68 atau 4,72 > 1,68, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. It also inquires into how these teachers of English overcame their shortcomings in oral English language teaching. 45 non native English teachers from Aceh were recorded. They came from four regions in the province of Aceh, namely Aceh Timur, Langsa, Aceh Utara and Aceh Besar. The participants have taught English from five to 15 years. The approach used in this paper is qualitative by focusing on the method of lexical stress analysis suggested by Crystal (1969), Halliday (1970) and McCawley (1986).  The study reveals that variations of lexical stresses were produced by the teachers with 13-15 years of teaching experience.  Those from Langsa and Aceh Timur produced the most varied stresses. Therefore, it is suggested for future research to conduct a more in-depth study on this topic with a wider sample of participants and more target words. It is also proposed that possible socio-phonological language inferences in the production of English stress by EFL teachers should be explored. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan model pembelajaran konvensional dan perbandingan keterampilan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah sebelum dan sesudah diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain kontrol grup tes awal dan tes akhir. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 240 siswa, sampelnya dipilih secara acak sebanyak 60 siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes berupa tes pilihan ganda untuk hasil belajar dan tes uraian untuk keterampilan memecahkan masalah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan tes kemampuan awal (pretes) dan tes kemampuan akhir (postes). Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan mencari gain ternormalisasi dan membandingkan kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan thitung 10,74 > ttabel 1,645, sedangkan untuk keterampilan memecahkan masalah menunjukkan thitung 18,89 > ttabel 2,045. In this research, the  composite board was prepared by mixing fined rice husk, recycledhigh density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic. Maleic Anhydride (MAH) was added ascompatibilizer. The objective of this research is to develop an alternative and a cheap technologyon fabrication of composite board by utilizing rice husk waste as filler and plastic from the type of recycled HDPE plastic as matrix. In order to improve the compactness of rice husk and recycled HDPE plastic thus the addition of MAH as compatibilizer is carried out. The research aspect learned is the MAH addition variation as much of 4% and 8% from HDPE plastic weight, and the mixing ratios of filler and matrix which are 30:70; 40:60; 50:50; 60:40; 70:30. Casting process of the homogonized solution was  carried out at casting temperature of 145oC for 20 minutes. The research result obtained indicates that the value of composite board density has fulfilled standard of SNI 03-2105-1996. The maximum water adsorbtion is obtained on composition of filler and matrixof 60:40 where with the addition of MAH 4% and 8% they are 10,1% and 6.9%, respectively. The addition of MAH as much of4% and 8% has resulted composite board with tensile strength value that has fulfilled SNI standard. One of efforts to reduce wood consumption is to develop research by creating composite design from material that contains sellulose to be particle board. Particle board is one of material alternatives that can be wood substitute. The objective of this research is to investigate the effect of natural-adhesive-mixture composition (acacia bark and gambier) with oil-palm-empty bunch toward mechanical property of particle board. Characterization of particle board was carried out by undertaking mechanical property testing (tensile strength and compressive strength) under wet and dry conditions. Composition variations of adhesive and oil-palm-empty bunch were 30:70; 40:60; 50:50; 60:40; 70:30. Making process of particle board is carried out by mixing oil-palm-empty bunch and adhesive with addition of 2% para-formaldehyde and water as much of 10%. Furthermore, the mixture is compressed by using Hot Press at temperature of 150oC and pressure of 10 kg/cm2 for 15 minutes. The research result indicates that the higher the adhesive composition (either adhesives of acacia bark or gambier), particle board resulted is better. In dry condition,  values of the tensile strength of particle boards  that have acacia bark adhesive and gambier adhesive have range of 84.2 - 104 Kgf/cm2 and 83.4 - 81.5 kg/cm2, respectively. Whereas, values of compressive strength of particle boards that have adhesives of acacia bark and gambier are in the range of 6.8 - 10.5 kg/cm2  and 6.3 - 9.3 kg/cm2, respectively. The values of tensile strength and compressive strength are obtained on compositions  of adhesive: oil-palm-empty bunch ≥ 40:60, and they have fulfilled satandard of SNI 03-2105-1996.
