                <text>ABSTRAKKompetensi profesional merupakan suatu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang pendidik untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di era globalisasi ini. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan profesional guru dalam pembelajaran pada SMPN I Sukamakmur di Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kompetensi profesional guru dalam melaksanakan program pembelajaran berupa adanya RPP dan pelaksanaan pembelajarannya di mana guru telah melaksanakan keterampilan mengajar  yaitu kegiatan membuka dan menutup pelajaran, mampu menggunakan keterampilan bertanya, memberi penguatan serta adanya variasi baik dalam gaya mengajar dan interaksi dengan peserta didik, penggunaan metode pembelajaran dan melakukan pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran. 2) kompetensi profesional guru dalam memanfaatkan sumber dan media belajar di mana guru-guru menggunakan sumber belajar lain selain buku teks yaitu dari surat kabar, majalah, LKS, modul dan penggunaan media belajar dari yang sederhana sampai memanfaatkan internet untuk mata pelajaran IPA dan Seni Budaya. Ini disesuaikan dengan materi, keaktifan peserta didik serta mudah dipahami namun masih terdapat kekurangan yang ditunjukkan oleh rendahnya kemampuan guru menggunakan media berbasis teknologi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan 3) kompetensi profesional guru dalam melakukan evaluasi hasil pembelajaran di mana guru-guru telah melaksanakan evaluasi formatif yang dilakukan setelah selesai proses pembelajaran, evaluasi setiap selesai satu kompetensi dasar serta evaluasi sumatif. Evaluasi yang dilakukan sesuai dengan materi yang telah dipelajari, hal ini menunjukkan terlaksananya prinsip evaluasi yaitu koherensi serta adanya tindak lanjut terhadap hasil evaluasi yang diperoleh peserta didik berupa remedial dan adanya peningkatan jumlah peserta didik yang mencapai ketuntasan setelah dilakukan remedial.Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Profesional Guru</text>

Oleh karena itu perlu adanya pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapatmeningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman dan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa,salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan ini adalahpendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah perbedaanpeningkatan kemampuan pemahaman dan pemecahan masalah matematis antarasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual dan siswayang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Selain itu diungkap pula sikap siswaterhadap pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian ini merupakansuatu kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pre-test post-test control groupdesign. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTsN Beureunuen denganmengambil sampel dua kelas (kelas eksperimen memperoleh pembelajaran denganpendekatan kontekstual dan kelas kontrol memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional)melalui teknik purposive sampling dari enam kelas paralel yang tersedia.Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berupa tes kemampuan pemahaman danpemecahan masalah matematis serta angket skala sikap siswa terhadap pembelajarandengan pendekatan kontekstual. Untuk melihat adanya perbedaan peningkatankemampuan siswa antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol digunakanuji-t dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 setelah prasyarat pengujian terpenuhi dan hasil ujistatistik kemudian dianalisis dengan bantuan SPSS 16 For Windows dan MicrosoftExcel 2007 untuk menginterpretasikan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman danpemecahan masalah matematis serta sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran denganpendekatan kontekstual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan nilai ngainkelas eksperimen untuk peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman dan pemecahanmasalah matematis masing-masing adalah 0,56 dan 0,25. Serta nilai n-gain kelaskontrol peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman dan pemecahan masalah matematismasing-masing adalah 0,38 dan 0,14. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwapeningkatan kemampuan pemahaman dan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yangmemperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual lebih baik dari pada siswayang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Selanjutnya terdapat korelasi antarakemampuan pemahaman dan pemecahan masalah siswa yang belajar denganpendekatan kontekstual dengan nilai korelasi 0,567 dan nilai signifikansi 0,001,artinya semakin tinggi skor kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa maka semakintinggi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematisnya. Berdasarkan analisis skalasikap siswa menunjukkan sikap yang positif terhadap pembelajaran denganpendekatan kontekstual.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual, kemampuan pemahamanmatematis, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis.</text>

                <text>Crystallization of a protein is a process of formation of a solid crystal from a homogeneous solution which leads to the knowledge of its three dimensional structures and it plays important role in designing and engineering protein for specific purposes. Thermostable lipases are commercially significant for their potential use in industries as it is stable and active in organic solvents, possess a wide range of substrate specificity, resistance to high temperature and chemical denaturation. The purified thermostable lipase from Geobacillus thermodenitrificans IBRL-nra was screened for crystal formation using Hampton Research screening kit, HR2-121 and HR2-122 using hanging drop vapour diffusion and microbatch methods. Microcrystals and rod clusters grew from mixtures in formulation 14, 20, 21 and 38 of HR2-121 and formulation 14, 16, 32 and 45 of HR2-122. Further enhancement of the parameters was carried out for the formation of well-defined crystal. The parameters tested are pH (4.6, 6.5, 7.5 and 8.5) and concentration of CaCl2 (0.15-0.38M)</text>

                <text>ABSTRAKKata kunci:model kooperatif tipe Problem Based Instruction (PBI), hasil belajar, operasi hitung campuranSuatu kegiatan pembelajaran dapat membuat siswa aktif dan kreatif dalam mengkonstruksi ide-idenya melalui berbagai metode dan model pembelajaran untuk membentuk suatu pemahaman matematika. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat menjawab tantangan tersebut adalah penerapan model  kooperatif tipe Problem Based Instruction (PBI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Limo Kecamatan Indrapuri Kabupaten Aceh Besar dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Problem  Based Instruction (PBI) pada materi operasi hitung campuran. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Limo Aceh Besar sebanyak 13 orang. Adapun prosedur pengumpulan data adalah melalui tes hasil belajar siswa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif (persentase) sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditentukan. Penelitian ini berlangsung selama tiga tindakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pembelajaran matematika dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Problem  Based Instruction (PBI)  pada siswa kelas IV SD Limo pada materi operasi hitung campuran hasil belajarnya meningkat, yang ditandai dengan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dalam setiap siklus, yaitu siklus I sebesar 69,23%, siklus II sebesar 76,92%, dan siklus III sebesar 96,29%.</text>

                <text>This research was conducted to know the activity of crude ethanol extract of pliek u (E) through in vitro assays. Pliek u obtained from households industry in the Reudep village Aceh Besar, Aceh province. Yeasts used in clinical trials is Candida albicans isolates obtained from the Mycology Laboratory of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Bogor Agricultural University. Anticandidal activity was determined on a paper disc, whereas in the broth dilution method is used to set a killing time activity of the E. The concentration of E that is used to determine the killing time activity is the value of LC50. Crude ethanol extract of pliek u (E) showed anticandidal activity with inhibitory zone diameters of 10.67 ± 0.47 mm. Ethanol extract of pliek u at a concentration of 3.36 mg / ml can reduce the number of C. albicans within two hours at 2.57 log CFU / ml compared to controls at 7.42 log CFU / ml. Based on this study can be concluded that ethanol extract of pliek u (E) can be considered an alternative drug for treating candidiasis, so it needs further research to veterinary clinics in vivo applications</text>

                <text>Configuration/Geometry definition, grid generation/mashing, and modeling in wing design and analysis process usually spend much time to support calculation by computer program. Much effort has been performed by engineering group to simplify design process and also for accelerating execution time. This paper describe a method to design and analysis aerodynamic and structure of the wing by automatic technique in geometry preparation. For aerodynamic aspect, wing geometry for a certain configuration is created automatically using computer program for replacement of manual method. NWDU is the software for creating an input of “panel method base code” in the form of panel system that consist of basic input, grid point (wing coordinate) and wake point. Some aerodynamic characteristics are demonstrated in corelation with a certain wing configuration. For structural aspect, automatic technique was applied on structure modeling, including structural layout as the input of FEM analysis. Geodesic structure of wing box component was choosen as test case of the method application. Grid Generation (GG) software was developed to generate structure modeling automatically as an input of Finite Element Method (FEM)</text>
