Keikutsertaan peserta didik dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler membantu peserta didik berkembang dalam proses berjalannya pembelajaran pada setiap semester yang diikuti peserta didik. Indeks Prestasi Kumuklatif (IPK) mahasiswa adakalanya dipengaruhi oleh kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang diikuti. Ekstrakurikuler memiliki empat fungsi yaitu fungsi pengembangan, fungsi sosial, fungsi rekreatif, dan fungsi pengembangan karir. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler terhadap nilai IPK mahasiswa Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Syiah Kuala. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif korelatif. Desain penelitian cross sectional study dengan pendekatan purposive sampling (n=86). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kuesioner,dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden. Metode analisa data menggunakan uji statistik Chi-Square test. Melalui uji statistik didapatkan nilai p-value 1 > 0.05 sehingga H0 diterima yang berarti tidak ada hubungan antara kegiatan ekstakurikuler dengan indeks prestasi kumulatif (IPK) mahasiswa. Tidak ada hubungan antara fungsi pengembangan (p-value 0.516), tidak ada hubungan antara fungsi sosial (p-value 0.417), tidak ada hubungan antara fungsi rekreatif (p-value 0.751), tidak ada hubungan antara fungsi persiapan karir (p-value 1), dengan IPK mahasiswa Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dengan kemampuan public speaking pada mahasiswa Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi (KBK) Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Syiah Kuala. Jenis peneletian adalah deskriptif korelatif melalui pendekatan cross sectionaldengan teknik pengambilan sampel Non Probability Sampling dengan metode purposive sampling terhadap 176 responden. Alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji statistik chi-square. Hasil penelitian ada hubungan fungsi pengembangan (p-value = 0,023), tidak ada hubungan fungsi sosial (p-value = 0,266), ada hubungan fungsi rekreatif (p-value = 0,006), tidak ada hubungan fungsi persiapan karir (p-value = 0,345) dengan kemampuan public speaking. Maka disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara kegiatan ekstrakurikuler (p-value = 0,013) dengan kemampuan public speaking pada mahasiswa kurikulum berbasis kompetensi Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Syiah Kuala. Masalah kesehatan gigi dan mulut yang sering terjadi pada usia lanjut adalah trauma, penyakit periodontal, karies, dan gigi yang tidak bisa dilakukan perawatan endodontik yang dapat menyebabkan kehilangan gigi. Kehilangan gigi dapat mempengaruhi pola makan usia lanjut sehingga berdampak pada status gizinya. Tujuan Penelitian ini, untuk mengetahui hubungan kehilangan gigi terhadap status gizi usia lanjut di UPTD Rumoh Seujahtra Geunaseh Sayang Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif analitik, dengan desain penelitian cross sectional study dilakukan pada 56 subjek dengan menggunakan total sampling, penilaian status gizi usia lanjut dilakukan dengan mengukur tinggi badan dan berat badan. Hasil penelitian menggunakan uji Chi square (p>0,05) menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kehilangan gigi dengan status gizi usia lanjut. The aims of this study were to describe relationship of D-loop of mtDNA Aceh cattle which is useful database for conducting conservation programme. The whole blood samples were collected (8 samples for D-loop analysis) from four locations which were Aceh Besar, Pidie, North Aceh regencies and Banda Aceh city. Out group whole blood samples were collected from two samples from Bali cattles (Bali Island), Madura cattle (Madura Island), Pesisir cattle (West Sumatera) respectively and one sample from PO cattle (West Java). Amplification of D-loop sequences of mtDNA with BIDLF and BIDLR primary have PCR product 980 bp. The Data were analyzed using Squint 1.02 and MEGA 4.0 programme. Result of analysis indicate that Aceh cattle have nearer relationship with zebu and there is items inset of genetik Bali cattle (Bos javanicus) at the end sequences start ke-354 situs up to 483, so that the origin Aceh cattle was from Bos indicus which have hybridization with Bos javanicus.
