To get the values of motion resistance and effective power on various purse seiner, it was used the purse seiner speed of 0-12 knot. We developed the simulation using 12 purse seiner sampling data which were operating in Makassar Strait. Simulation results indicated that the increasing main dimension of purse seiner was proportional to the increasing the magnitude of resistance and effective power. This study suggested that the round flat of casco model has greater resistance compared with the other casco model for purse seiner operating in Makassar Strait. Penyakit malaria terjadi karea dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, antara lain eksposur malaria, kunjungan ke daerah endermis malaria, ekonomi responden, habitat vektor nyamuk malaria, dan pencegahan terjadinya malaria. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya malaria dengan kejadian malari di Kecamatan Lueng Bata Kota Banda Aceh. Desain Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan rancangan cross sectional. Sampel diambil dengan teknik total sampling sebanyak 103 orang masyarakat Kecamatan Lueng Bata yang terinfeksi malaria yang berobat ke Puskesmas Batoh, baik yang masih sakit maupun yang sudah sembuh (umur 20 tahun ke atas). Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa dari semua masyarakat Kecamatan Lueng Bata yang berobat ke Puskesnas Batoh karena malaria, 35,00% dipengaruhi ileh variabel eksposur malaria, 38,83% dipengaruhi oleh variabel kunjungan ke daerah endemis malaria, 73,78% dipengaruhi oleh variabel ekonomi responden, 66,00% dipengaruhi oleh variabel habitat vektor nyamuk malaria, dan 73,78% dipengaruhi oleh variabel pencegahan terjadinya malaria. Hambal, Muhammad Fahrimal, Yudha Shafitri, Rimaya Date A point or period of time associated with an event in the lifecycle of the resource 2011-12-15 Description An account of the resource A study on the mosquitoes Aedes spp. has been conducted in Kuta Alam Sub-district, Banda Aceh, to find out the percentage and distribution of positive ovitrap with eggs of Aedes aegypti and A. albopictus, based on location of ovitrap, level of rainfall as well as different landuse of settlement areas. Sampling was conducted by setting up ovitrap monthly, from January to December 2010 in settlement area that have more trees versus less trees, both indoor and outdoor. Data of the ovitrap percentage that was proved to be positive with eggs of A. aegypti and A. albopictus was analized using Student T-Test. The study revealed that rainfall value did not significantly affect (P>0.05) the percentage of positive A. aegypti and  A. albopictus ovitraps and neither  did the location of ovitrap (indoor versus outdoor). The settlement areas with more trees have significantly higher percentage of ovitraps containing A. albopictus than areas with less trees, but not significant for A. aegypti (P<0.05). It was suggested that rainfall and location of ovitrap did not influence the number of ovitrap containing Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus eggs, while settlement landuse  influenced significantly the percentage of positive ovitraps for Aedes albopictus, but not for Aedes. aegypti. Between two villages in Kuta Alam sub-district, it was found out that Gampong Beurawe was dominated by Aedes albopictus while Gampong Kuta Alam by Aedes aegypti. Overall, the sensitivity of ovitrap in Kuta Alam subdistrict was 83,7%. Proses produksi secara keseluruhan menggunakan proses kontinyu dengan melibatkan proses pemasakan serbuk tempurung kelapa dengan menggunakan natrium bisulfit. Surfaktan merupakan bahan utama deterjen, surfaktan Alkyl benzene Sulfonate (ABS) digunakan sebagai formula di dalam deterjen. Tujuan perancangan pabrik deterjen cair ini adalah untuk memproduksi deterjen cair dengan menggunakan tempurung kelapa sebagai surfaktan dan untuk mengurangi impor deterjen cair. Tujuan lain dari pembangunan pabrik ini sebagai menambah devisa negara dari subsektor perkebunan dengan meningkatkan kontribusi pemakaian tempurung kelapa. Menambah pendapatan negara berupa pajak penghasilan, dan membuka lapangan pekerjaan baru bagi masyarakat sekitarnya dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kapasitas produksi pabrik deterjen cair adalah 11.000 ton/tahun dengan masa kerja 330 hari pertahun. Untuk menentukan kapasitas peralatan pabrik serta kebutuhan energi suatu pabrik perhitungan terhadap neraca massa dan neraca energi yang masuk dan keluar dari suatu peralatan. Kedua neraca ini sangat diperlukan dalam penentukan spesifikasi setiap pelaratan proses. Jumlah panas yang dibutuhkan sesuai dengan jumlah massa yang diproses. Juga ukuran peralatan ditentukan oleh jumlah massa yang harus ditangani. Bentuk perusahaan yang direncanakan adalah persero Terbatas (PT) dengan menggunakan srtuktur organisasi garis dan staf. Kebutuhan tenaga kerja untuk menjalankan perusahaan ini berjumlah 286 orang. Lokasi pabrik deterjen cair ini direncanakan didirikan di Desa Lueng daneun, Kecamatan Peusangan Siblah Krueng Kabupaten Bireun, Provinsi Aceh, dengan ketersediaan bahan baku produksi kelapa sebanyak 15,15 miliyar butir/tahun dengan menghasilkan 0,75 juta ton tempurung kelapa dengan luas area 20,535 m2. Untuk mengurangi resiko bencana perlu konstruksi tahan gempa. Salah satu metode untuk mengurangi beban gempa adalah dengan mengurangi massa struktur dengan menggunakan beton ringan. Beton ringan sangat cocok digunakan pada daerah rawan gempa karena dapat mengurangi berat sendiri konstruksi sehingga dapat mencegah keruntuhan struktural bangunan. Pada perencanaan ini direncanakan sebuah hotel bertingkat lima dengan 4 model yaitu model 1 struktur baja dengan plat lantai beton konvensional dan dinding bata merah, model 2 struktur baja dengan plat lantai beton ringan busa dan dinding bata merah, model 3 struktur baja dengan plat lantai beton konvensional dan dinding batafoam, dan model 4 struktur baja dengan plat lantai beton ringan busa dan dinding batafoam. Tujuan perencanaan ini adalah untuk meninjau reduksi berat struktur beton ringan busa terhadap beton konvensional dengan membandingkannya pada masing-masing model yang direncanakan. Model 1 digunakan sebagai kontrol perbandingan berat dengan model lainnya. Tahap-tahap perhitungan yang dilakukan adalah perhitungan pembebanan (beban tetap dan beban sementara), analisis struktur, kontrol desain terhadap balok dan kolom. Untuk analisis struktur menggunakan bantuan software ETABS. Standar perencanaan ini berpedoman pada metode Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) yang tertuang dalam SNI 03-1729-2002 (Tata Cara Perencanaan Struktur Baja untuk Bangunan Gedung). Setelah itu diperoleh keseluruhan berat struktur mencakup berat sendiri kolom dan balok. Kolom terbesar menggunakan profil HWF-400.400.20.35 dan untuk balok terbesar menggunakan profil IWF-400.300.9.14 dari keseluruhan model.
