Berdasarkan hasil analisis bivariat dengan Chi-Square dengan tingkat signifikan 5% (0,05) menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan umur (p=1,000), paritas (p=1,000), riwayat persalinan (p=1,000), dan Antenatal care (p=0,467) dengan perdarahan post partum. Setelah dilakukan penelitian tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara karakteristik ibu dengan perdarahan post partum. The aim of this research was to know the correlation between maternal characteristics and post-partum bleeding at dr. Zainoel Abidin general hospital and mother and child hospital of Banda Aceh in 2012. This research employed descriptive correlative design and used accidental sampling technique in collecting the sample. The population of this research were mothers who experience pos-partum bleeding and the samples were 30 people. The research was conducted on July 9-19 in 2012. Instrument used was check list table with guided interview. Based on the bivariate analysis with Chi square statistic test and 5% of Level of significance, it was found that there was no correlation of age (p=1.000), parity (p=1.000), history of childbirth (p=1.000), antenatal care (p=0.467) with post-partum bleeding. There was no significant correlation between mother characteristic and post-partum bleeding. Indonesian govenunent also has announced to implement a policy to undertake early breastfeeding initiation, which can improve baby's health and minimize newborns babies' death. The purpose of this study was to find out a correlation between pregnant women's characteristics and motivation to undertake early breastfeeding initiation at Public Health Center Ulee Kareng city Banda Aceh in 2013. The research design used was descriptive correlative with cross sectional study approach and Slovin formula. Sample was taken through non-probability sampling technique and purposive sampling method on 40 respondents. The data was collected on March13 with questionnaire in form of dichotomy scale. The results for unvariate analysis showed that the age was in no risk category (60 %,) parity was in multipara category (57,5 %), level of education was in high category (92,5 %), occupation was in work category (67,5 %), and income was in high category (85 %). The results for bivariate analysis showed that there was a correlation between age (P-value 0,043), parity (P- value 0,024), level of education (P-value 0,049), occupation .(P-value 0,026), and income (P-value 0.043) with pregnant women's motivation in undertaking early breastfeeding initiation. Akan tetapi, Pelaksanaan IMD belum berjalan dengan optimal dikarenakan masih kurangnya pengetahuan dan minat ibu dalam melakukan [MD serta kurangnya dukungan kelurga dan penolong persalinan sehingga menyebabkan ibu cenderung menolak untuk melakukan lMD. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik ibu hamil dengan rnotivasi pelaksanaan inisiasi rnenyusu dini di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Ulee Kareng Kota Banda Aceh Tahun 2013. Desain penelitian deskriptif koleratif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study, dengan jumlah respond en sebanyak 40 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada tanggal 11 sampai 23 Maret. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh untuk analisa univariat adalah umur pacla kategori tidak resiko (60 %) paritas pada kategori multipara ( 57,5%) tingkat pendidikan pada kategori tinggi (92,5%) pekerjaan pada kategori bekerja (67,5%) dan penghasilan pada kategori tinggi (85%), sedangkan untuk motivasi intrinsik (75.0%) dan motivasi ekstrinsik (75.0%). Hasil penelitian untuk analisa bivariat diperoleh bahwa ada hubungan umur (P-va/ue 0,043), paritas (P-va/ue 0,024), tingkat pendidikan (P-value 0,049), pekerjaan (P-value 0,026) dan penghasilan (P- value0,043) dengan motivasi ibu hamil dalam pelaksanaan inisiasi menyusu dini. Hasil wawancara 5 orang ibu hamil di puskesmas Kuta Alam Banda Aceh, 2 dari 5 ibuhamil tidak mengetahui manfaat stimulasi pralahir bagi bayi dalam kandungan. Ini berartimasih kurangnya pengetahuan ibu tentang stimulasi pralahir. Karakteristik ibu hamil meliputiumur, pendidikan, pekerjaan, paritas dan sumber informasi dapat mempengaruhipengetahuan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik ibu hamil denganpengetahuan stimulasi kecerdasan pralahir di Puskesmas Kuta Alam Banda Aceh. Desainpenelitian deskriptis korelatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study, penentuan jumlahsampel menggunakan rumus slovin, teknik pengambilan sampel nonprobability samplingdengan metode purposive sampling, diperoleh jumlah responden sebanyak 58 orang.Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada tanggal 6 Agustus s/d 5 September 2012 dengan kuisionerdalam bentuk skala dichotomy. Hasil penelitian diperoleh ada hubungan umur ibu hamildengan pengetahuan stimulasi kecerdasan pralahir (p-value=0,024), ada hubungan antaraparitas dengan pengetahuan stimulasi kecerdasan pralahir (p-value=0,025), ada hubunganantara pendidikan dengan pengetahuan stimulasi kecerdasan pralahir (p-value=0,033), adahubungan antara pekerjaan dengan pengetahuan stimulasi kecerdasan pralahir (pvalue=0,014), dan tidak ada hubungan sumber informasi dengan pengetahuan stimulasikecerdasan pralahir (p-value=0,0307). Karakteristik initerdiri umur, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, penghasilan dan status perkawinan. Penderitagagal ginjal kronik sering mengalami penurunan dalam kualitas kehidupannya, dimanakualitas hidup ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh sejumlah karakteristik. Tujuan penelitian ini untukmengetahuhi hubungan karakteristik individu dengan kualitas hidup pasien gagal ginjalkronik yang menjalani hemodialisis di BLUD Rumah Sakit Umum dr. Zainoel AbidinBanda Aceh Tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian deskriptif correlational dengan desain penelitiancross sectional study. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah purposivesampling dengan jumlah sampel 63 responden. Hasil penelitian ini kategori umur lansia(65,1%), jenis kelamin laki-laki (63,5%), pendidikan rendah (38,1%), penghasilan rendah(34,9%), status menikah (79,4%) dan kategori kualitas hidup kurang yaitu (76,2%). Populasidalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat pelaksana yang ada di ruang rawatinap Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Meuraxa Kota Banda Aceh dengan sample 79orang. Alat pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dalam bentukskala Likert. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan uji independensiChi- Square dengan derajat kemaknaan (?)= 0,05. Hasil penelitian inimenunjukkan ada hubungan antar umur dengan motivasi intrinsik perawatpelaksana dalam memberikan pelayanan keperawatan (P=0,000 0,05),masa kerja (P=0,97>0,05), pendidikan (P=0,90>0,05), dan status perkawinan(P=1,000>0,05) dengan motivasi intrinsik perawat pelaksana dalam memberikanpelayanan keperawatan. Peneliti menyarankan kepada bagian manajemen diRumah Sakit Umum Daerah Meuraxa Kota Banda Aceh diharapkan memberikanreward dan punishment yang layak kepada perawat pelaksana.
