Efek dari penyakit dan pengobatan talasemia adalah gangguan pertumbuhan dan kematangan seksual akibat zat besi yang berlebih. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kadar feritin serum dengan pertumbuhan dan kematangan seksual penderita talasemia mayor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan desain cross sectional. Subyek penelitian adalah penderita talasemia mayor usia 10-18 tahun. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik accidental sampling dari bulan Oktober sampai November 2013 di Sentral Talasemia BLUD RSUDZA Banda Aceh. Kadar feritin serum diperoleh dari rekam medis pasien. Penilaian pertumbuhan dilakukan berdasarkan indikator indeks massa tubuh terhadap usia (IMT/U) dan pemeriksaan kematangan seksual dilakukan dengan skala Tanner. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji statistik Fisher. Selama penelitian berlangsung didapatkan total 32 sampel , yang terdiri dari 22 laki-laki dan 10 perempuan. Hal ini diduga dapat dipengaruhi oleh kadar hemoglobin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar hemoglobin dengan kejang demam. Ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan desain cross-sectional. Subyek penelitian terdiri atas 25 subyek kejang demam dan 25 subyek demam tanpa kejang yang dirawat di ruang rawat inap anak (Seurune I) Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr.Zainoel Abidin (RSUDZA) Banda Aceh dari September 2012 sampai dengan September 2013. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t tidak berpasangan dan chi-square (?2). Hasil uji t tidak berpasangan menunjukkan rata-rata kadar hemoglobin subyek kejang demam adalah 10,23 g/dL dan subyek demam tanpa kejang adalah 11,38 g/dL, p = 0,000, hal ini berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kadar hemoglobin subyek kejang demam dan demam tanpa kejang. Berat lahir merupakan hasil interaksi dari berbagai faktor melalui suatu proses yang berlangsung selama berada dalam kandungan Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi berat badan bayi lahir, salah satunya adalah kadar hemoglobin. Hemoglobin sangat dibutuhkan untuk pembentukan darah janin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar hemoglobin ibu hamil dengan berat badan bayi lahir. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan desain crossectional, dengan jumlah sampel 67 orang ibu yang akan bersalin dikamar bersalin RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh periode 12 Desember 2012 sampai dengan 29 Januari 2013. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah Accidental Sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu korelasi bivariat product pearson moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kadar hemoglobin ibu adalah 10,64 g/dl dan hasil rata-rata bayi lahir dengan berat 3125,18 gram. Dari hasil analisis dua arah Korelasi Pearson, didapati kesimpulan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kadar hemoglobin ibu hamil dengan berat badan bayi lahir, dengan tingkat hubungan sangat lemah (r = -0,077, p = 0,533). Kadar LDL Kolesterol yang tinggi dapat menyebabkan aterosklerosis sehingga terjadi iskemik pada kaki penderita DM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar LDL kolesterol terhadap kejadian kaki diabetik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan accidental sampling padaperiode 14 November 2013- 14 Januari 2014 dengan jumlah sampel 42 orang. Analisis data menggunakan uji one way anova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 71,40% (30 orang) mempunyai kadar LDL kolesterol yang tinggi, 38,10% (16 orang) menderita kaki diabetik derajat 3, kadar rata-rata LDL kolesterol tertinggi terdapat pada derajat 0 yaitu 154,36 mg/dL, rata-rata kadar LDL kolesterol pada perempuan 135,23 mg/dL dan pada laki-laki 121,85 mg/dL. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara kadar LDL kolesterol terhadap kejadian kaki diabetik, dengan nilai p 0,40 (p>0,05). Kesimpulan: tidak terdapat hubungan LDL kolesterol terhadap kejadian kaki diabetik.Kata kunci: Kaki diabetik, LDL kolesterol, diabetes melitusABSTRACKDiabetic foot is an infection, ulceration or destructionof the deep fibrous tissue associated with neuropathy and peripheral vascular disease on lower limb which is occur in diabetic patient. High level of LDL cholesterol can cause atherosclerosis and it cause ischemic foot of diabetic patient. The aim of this study is to find out the correlation between LDL cholesterol with incidence of diabetic foot. The type of this study is analytic observational with cross-sectional design. Method of the sampling was accidental sampling during the period of 14 November 2013 to 14 January 2014 with 42 respondents. The data was analyzed by One Way Anova. The result of this study showed that 71,40% (n=30) had high level of LDL cholesterol, majority of the patients 38,10% (n=16) were presented with Wagner grade 3, the average levels of LDL cholesterol highest at Wagner grade 0 was 154,36 mg/dL, the average levels of LDL cholesterol in women was 135,23 mg/dL and male 121,85 mg/dL. One Way Anova test showed that there was no correlation between LDL cholesterol with incidence of diabetic foot, with p value 0,40 (p>0.05). The conclusion of this study was no correlation between LDL cholesterol with incidence of diabetic foot.
