The objective of this research was to study the influence of salinity and buoyancy on hatchability of milkfish eggs (Chanos-chanos). The completely random design was used this study. Two factors i.e. salinity and buoyancy were tested where the salinity with three levels oncentration; 16, 23 and 30 ppt, while the buoyancy with three egg buoyancy categories i.e. floating, drifting and sinking with three replicates respectively. The result showed that the hatchability of floating eggs in tested salinities were 76,7% ; 78,75% ; 91,7%, for 16, 23 and 30 ppt, respectively. Then drifting eggs were 65,3%; 67,0%; 77,0% and sinking eggs were 54,0% ; 55,3% ; 65,0% for 16, 23 and 30 ppt, respectively. In generally, the hatchability was increased with increasing of salinity. Aceh yang terletak di barat laut Indonesia tidak berada dalam lintasan siklon tropis sehingga tidak ada pengaruh langsung siklon tersebut terhadap cuaca di wilayah Aceh. Sekalipun demikian diperkirakan ada pengaruh tidak langsung berupa perubahan curah hujan di wilayah Aceh selama siklon tropis terbentuk. Dalam penelitian ini dianalisa korelasi antara siklon tropis yang terbentuk di wilayah Samudera Pasifik Barat, Perairan Filipinan, dan Laut China Selatan pada tahun 2012 dengan data curah hujan dan tekanan udara pada beberapa stasiun meteorologi di Aceh. Korelasi tekanan udara di pusat siklon dengan tekanan udara di stasiun meteorologi dianalisa dengan menggunakan metode regresi linear. Selanjutnya korelasi siklon tropis dengan curah hujan di Aceh dipelajari melalui interpretasi awan dari citra satellite dan pergerakan pola angin dari peta streamline. Hasil analisia menunjukan bahwa ada nilai korelasi positif besar +0.8 saat terjadinya siklon tropis Vicente (19 - 25 Juli 2012), dimana terjadi menurunan tekanan sebesar 2.0 mb pada Stasiun Meteorologi Sabang dan Meulaboh. Saat siklon tropis terbentuk secara umum curah hujan di Aceh meningkat, siklon tropis Sanvu (21 - 30 Mei 2012) menyebabkan jumlah curah hujan tinggi mencapai 69.8 mm (22 Mei 2012) di Stasiun Meteologi Sabang.Kata kunci : Siklon Tropis, Tekanan Udara, Curah Hujan ABSTRACTThe growth of tropical cyclone in West Pacific Ocean, South China Sea, Philippines Sea affects weather pattern in most part of northern Indonesia. Aceh that is located in northwestern Indonesia was not in tropical cyclone trajectory area, no direct affects of the cyclones impact to weather in Aceh. Though so, it is predicted there is indirect affect change in form of rainfall in Aceh regional during tropical cyclones formed. In this research we analyze correlations between tropical cyclone formed in the Western Pacific Ocean, Sea Philippine, and South China Sea regions during 2012 with data of rainfall and pressure collected from meteorology stations in Aceh. The correlation of pressure in the center of the cyclone with the pressure in the meteorological station was analyzed using linear regression method. While the correlation with rainfall in Aceh was studied through clouds interpretation from satellite imageries and movement of streamline maps. The results show that there are positive correlation (+0.8) when the tropical cyclone Vicente on 19 - 25 July occurred the pressure at Sabang and Meulaboh decreased (2.0 mb). Furthermore, as the tropical cyclones formed, generally the rainfalls are increased in Aceh region. Tropical cyclone Sanvu which occurred on 21 - 30 May, caused the highest rainfall amounting to (35.8 mm) at the meteorological station of Sabang on 22 May. Untuk mengetahui jenis bakteri yang berperan dalam pembentukan formaldehid pada ikan kerapu macan telah dilakukan isolasi bakteri pada ikan kerapu macan denganmenggunakanmedia TMAOsebagai media seleksi. Uji kualitatif adanya pembentukan formaldehid dilakukan menggunakan reagen Schiff yang ditandai dengan terbentuknya warna ungu kemerahan. Identifikasi isolat bakteri dengan pewarnaan gram menunjukkan bahwa bakteri tersebut termasuk gram positif sedangkanhasilScanning Electron Microscope (SEM) menunjukkan bahwa bentuk bakteri isolate iniberbentukbatang (basil). Identifikasi lebih lanjut dilakukan dengan menentukan urutan gen 16S rRNA. Penjajaran hasil sekuensing gen 16S rRNA menunjukkan bahwa gen isolat bakteri hanya memiliki kemiripan sekitar 78% dengan bacillus dan beberapabakteri yang belum terkultur. Analisis filogenetik memperlihatkan bahwa isolat bakteri tidak memiliki kekerabatan yang dekat dengan bakteri lain.Kata kunci : Bakteri, Ikan Kerapu Macan (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus), formaldehid.ABSTRACTFormaldehyde has been found naturally in Tiger grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus) during deterioration process. The formation of formaldehyde was catalyzed by trimetilamin oksidase (TMAOase) from certain bacterias that degradate trimetilamin oksida (TMAO) to formaldehyde. Isolation and identification of bacteria that play a role in forlamdehyde formation has been done using TMAO medium. The qualitative test of formaldehyde was performed using Schiff reagent that indicated by formation of reddish violet colour. Identification of isolated bacteria by gram staining showed that the bacteria is a gram positive type, and Scanning Electron Microscope showed that the bacteria have bacil morphology.Alignment of the 16S rRNA gene sequencing results showed that the isolated bacteria gene have about78% similarity with some unculturable and bacillus bacteria. The spatial distributin based on similarity Bray-Curtis analysis showed that the Kronjo, Cituis, and Tanjung Pasir locations generate four, three, and five groups, respectively. Adapun metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu nilai ekonomi mangrove di bagian barat Teluk Pangpang dengan menggunakan metode effect on production (EOP) dan kesesuaian kawasan sempadan pantai. Selama berabad-abad, para dokter telah menduga bahwa emosi dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan seseorang secara berarti. Berdasarkan temuan riset interaksi pikiran tubuh, diperkirakan bahwa sebanyak 80% dari semua masalah yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan disebabkan atau dipeburuk oleh stress. Berdasarkan data dari (UPTD) Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas, didapatkan data jumlah lansia 70 orang, dan pada data awal ditemukan beberapa lansia mempunyai gejala stress seperti gelisah, cemas dan mudah panik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran stress pada lansia di unit pelaksana teknis dinas (UPTD) rumoh seujahtra geunaseh sayang Banda Aceh tahun 2013. Desain penelitian deskriptif, populasi 70 lansia yang tinggal di UPTD Rumoh Seujahtra Geunaseh Sayang Banda Aceh dan sampel adalah 41 orang dengan menggunakan teknik pengampilan sampel purposive sampling. Waktu penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 13-14 juli 2013, alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner dengan teknik wawancara terpimpin. Hasil penelitian didapatkan yaitu stress fisik sebagian besar berada pada kategori rendah (63,4%), stress fisiologis berada pada kategori rendah (56,09%), dan stress psikologis berada pada kategori tinggi (56,09%). For centuries, doctors have suspected that emotions can significantly affect one's health. Based on the research findings of the mind body interactions, it is estimated that as many as 80% of all health-related problems is caused or worsened by stress. The data from the Provincial Technical Implementation Unit (TIU) reveals there are 70 elderly people in the Unit. Based on the preliminary data, there were some of the elderly who suffered from symptom of stress such as restlessness, anxiety, and panic. The purpose of this study was to find out the description of stress in the elderly at the Provincial Technical Implementation Unit (TIU) Rumoh Geunaseh Seujahtra Sayang Banda Aceh in 2013. It was a descriptive research with a population of 70 elderly people who lived at the aged care of the Unit with and the number of samples was 30 of them selected by using purposive sampling technique. This study was conducted on July 13-14, 2013. Data were collected by using questionnaire with guided interview techniques. The results showed that the physical stress was mostly categorized as low (63.4%), the physiological stress was regarded as low (56.09%), and psychological stress was at high category (56.09%). It is recommended that the Provincial Technical Implementation Unit (TIU) Rumoh Geunaseh Seujahtra Sayang Banda Aceh increase the health service quality, create a comfortable environment and provide treatment, care, support for the elderly. They should be free from pressure in order to minimize the psychological stress. Lombok Strait is one part of Indonesia Through Flow (ITF), important for national and international maritime economic. The strait is passed by ITF, i.e., a displacement water from the Pacific Ocean into the Indian Ocean caused by a difference in the sea water level. ITF flows across the Makassar Strait to south direction and passes through the smaller straits along Bali to Flores. ITF pattern is influenced by its local area condition which creates unique characteristics in each place. ITF passes through the Lombok Strait in part directly related to the Indian Ocean, as well as a very diverse state bathymetry of shallow ocean to ocean trenches. Various oceanographic phenomena affect ITF in the Lombok Strait: tides and waves are formed due to the interaction between the ocean currents from the Indian Ocean to the Lombok Strait, met with ITF flowing from the Lombok Strait into the Indian Ocean. As tides, currents are influenced by the tides that have harmonic components, but there are differences in the frequency and phase are formed. Harmonic component is one of indicators in determining the characteristics of a body of water. The purpose of this study is to obtain the derived harmonic components by analysing currents data in the Lombok Strait acquired from The International Nusantara Stratification and Transport (INSTANT) Expedition Mooring Deployment 1 conducted in 2004 to 2005. Based on the analysis it is known that the characteristic harmonic currents in the Lombok Strait is influenced by significant harmonic components such as Solar Semi Annual (SSA) and Solar Annual (SA)constituents be used, as the result of harmonic analyses of tidal data at ports all over the world reveal that they are dominated by the seasonal variations of sun.Keywords : ITF; Sea Current; Harmonic Component; INSTANT ExpeditionAbstrak. Selat Lombok merupakan salah satu alur lintas kepulauan Indonesia (ALKI) yang penting bagi perekonomian maritim nasional dan internasional, sekaligus sebagai alur dari arus lintas Indonesia (Arlindo). Arlindo merupakan peristiwa perpindahan masa air dari Samudera Pasifik menuju Samudera Hindia, yang disebabkan oleh perbedaan ketinggian air laut. Jalur Arlindo melintasi Selat Makasar menuju selatan, kemudian terbagi melewati selat-selat yang lebih kecil diperairan Bali hingga Nusa Tenggara Timur. Pola Arlindo dipengaruhi keadaan perairan setempat yang dilewatinya, sehingga Arlindo memiliki karakteristik yang unik pada masing-masing tempat. Pada Selat Lombok yang berhubungan langsung dengan Samudera Hindia,  fenomena oseanografi mempengaruhi ARLINDO di Selat Lombok diantaranya adalah pasang surut dan internal wave yang terbentuk karena interaksi antara arus laut dalam yang berasal dari Samudera Hindia menuju Selat Lombok. Arus pasut memiliki komponen harmonik seperti gaya pembangkitnya, namun terdapat perbedaan pada frekuensi dan fasa yang terbentuk. Komponen harmonik pasut dan arus pasut merupakan salah satu indikator dalam penentuan karakteristik suatu perairan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh besaran komponen harmonik yang diturunkan dari arus di Selat Lombok dari Ekspedisi INSTANT Mooring Deployment 1 yang dilaksanakan pada tahun 2004 hingga 2005.
