Tolak peluru merupakan salah satu nomor perlombaan atletik, untuk mendapatkan hasil tolakan yang bagus sangat ditentukan oleh power otot lengan untuk mencapai prestasi yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Daya Ledak Otot Lengan terhadap kemampuan Tolak Peluru pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Lhoknga Kabupaten Aceh Besar Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 1 Lhoknga Kabupaten Aceh Besar Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 yang beijumlah 148 orang. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara Purposiv Sampling, adapun sampelnya adalah siswa laki-laki kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Lhoknga Kabupaten Aceh Besar Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 30 Orang. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Korelasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes Daya Otot Lengan (.Medicine Ball Push) dan Kemampuan Tolak Peluru. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah mencari korelasi Produck Moment. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa : Terdapat hubungan antara Daya Ledak Otot Lengan terhadap kemampuan Tolak Peluru pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Lhoknga Kabupaten Aceh Besar Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 sebesar 0.408.
