Salah satu upaya coping stres adalah dengan humor. Cara seseorang menggunakan humor (humor style) dapat dibagi menjadi empat dimensi, yaitu: affiliative humor, self-enhancing humor, aggressive humor, dan self-defeating humor. Penelitian ini melibatkan 292 mahasiswa Unsyiah yang sedang menyusun skripsi, 176 perempuan dan 116 laki-laki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara humor style dengan tingkat stres dalam menyusun skripsi pada mahasiswa Unsyiah. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Humor Style Questionnaire oleh Martin et al. (2003) dan Skala Tingkat Stres yang disusun sendiri oleh peneliti berdasarkan teori Sarafino dan Smith (2011). Hasil analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi Product Moment Pearson pada aggressive humor dengan r = 0.227, p = 0.000 (p < 0.05) dan self-defeating humor dengan r = 0.212, p = 0.000 (p < 0.05) menunjukkan bahwa ada korelasi positif yang signifikan antara aggressive humor dan self-defeating humor dengan tingkat stres, sedangkan teknik Spearman Correlation digunakan pada self-enhancing humor dengan r = 0.063, p = 0.280 (p > 0.05) menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan dengan tingkat stres, dan pada affiliative humor dengan r = -0.061, p = 0.298 (p > 0.05) juga menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan dengan tingkat stres. Adapun tingkatan stres yang dialami mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun skripsi adalah 44 orang (15%) stres rendah, 195 orang (66,8%) stres sedang, dan 53 orang (18,2%) yang mempunyai tingkat stres yang tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitikobservasional dan dilakukan dengan desain cross sectional dengan metodepengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Sampel diambil daridata rekam medik untuk hasil pemeriksaan profil lipid lalu dilakukan pengukuranIMT dan lingkar perut. Jumlah responden sebanyak 64 orang dari tanggal 15 Januarisampai dengan 15 Februari 2014. Data dianalisis dengan uji Chi Square dan ujiPearson. Hasil penelitian terdapat hubungan antara IMT dengan dislipidemiacampuran (p = 0,036) dan terdapat korelasi bermakna antara IMT dan lingkar perutdengan HDL. Penelitian ini menggunakan sepuluh ekor sapi betina yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, setiap kelompok terdiri dari 5 ekor dengan kategori: umur 5-8 tahun, berat badan 150-250 kg, sehat secara klinis, dan tidak sedang bunting. Sampel plasma untuk pemeriksaan estradiol diambil pada saat dilakukan inseminasi dari vena jugularis. Sebelum dilakukan koleksi, seluruh sapi disinkronisasi berahi menggunakan prostaglandin F2 alpha (PGF2?) dan metode ovsynch. Pemeriksaan konsentrasi hormon estradiol dilakukan dengan metode enzyme linked immunosorbant assay (ELISA) menggunakan kit estradiol. Hubungan antara intensitas estrus dengan konsentrasi estradiol sebesar 0,392 dengan persamaan regresi y = 3,094 + 0,01x dimana y adalah skor intensitas berahi sedangkan x adalah konsentrasi estradiol. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah korelasi antara intensitas estrus dengan konsentrasi estradiol pada saat inseminasi sapi lokal relatif lemah. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the relationship between the intensity of estrus with estradiol concentrations during insemination on local cattle. This study uses ten cows were divided into two groups with each group consisting of 5 with category: age 5-8 years, weight 150-250 kg, clinically healthy, and not pregnant. Plasma samples were taken at the time of artificial insemination from the jugular vein to measuring the estradiol hormone concentration. Prior to the collection of plasma samples, all of cattles were synchronized their estrous phase by using prostaglandin F2 alpha (PGF2?) and ovsynch. Examination of the concentration of the hormone estradiol performed using enzyme-linked immunosorbant assay (ELISA) using commercial kits estradiol. The relationship between the intensity of estrus with estradiol concentration of 0.392 with the regression equation y = 3.094 + 0.01x where y is the score of the intensity of estrus, whereas x is the concentration of estradiol. The result of this study indicate that statistically there is no relationship intensity of estrus with estradiol concentration. Itcan be concluded that the corelation between the intensity of estrus with estradiol concentrations during insemination on local cattle was low.
