Zeolit adalah senyawa aluminosilikat tetrahedral dengan struktur ikatan 3-dimesi, memiliki pori bagian dalam, dan luas permukaan yang tinggi, karena itu dapat digunakan sebagai adsorben. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh waktu kontak optimum, suhu, dan konsentrasi kromium terhadap kapasitas penyerapan. Tahap pertama adalah mencampur zeolit yang telah diaktifkan dengan larutan kromium (10 ppm kromium) dalam tangki berpengaduk pada 25oC. Selanjutnya larutan diambil setiap 60 menit hingga konsentrasi residu larutan kromium konstan. Proses adsorpsi dilangsungkan pada suhu berbeda yaitu:  25, 30, 35, 40, 45, dan 50 oC. Untuk uji adsorpsi isotermal, pada suhu dengan hasil penyerapan terbaik divariasikan konsentrasi kromiumnya yaitu: 10, 20, 40, 60, dan 100 ppm. Dosis adsorben yang digunakan adalah 3 gram adsorbent/200 mL larutan krommium dengan kecepatan pengaduk 240 rpm. Larutan kromium dideteksi dengan menggunakan Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) atau Spektroskopi Serapan Atom. Waktu kontak optimum diperoleh 3 jam menggunakan zeolit yang diaktifkan dengan asam, diperoleh nilai adsorpsi optimum 99,275%. Proses adsorpsi berjalan secara eksoterm, memiliki ?Ho = -3.9574,6 J/mol dan ?So = -117.227 J/moloK. Model isotermal adsorpsi mengikuti isoterm Freundlich menurut persamaan Qe = 0,044463C1/2,5125, kapasitas penyerapan Kf = 0,044463 mmol/gram adsorben, dan intensitas adsorpsi n = 2,5125. Resistensi antibiotik terhadap bakteri juga menjadi masalah yang paling sulit ditangani. Selain meningkatkan waktu dan biaya perawatan, infeksi pada aliran darah juga meningkatkan angka morbiditas dan mortalitas pada neonatus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan identifikasi dan melihat sensitifitas pada bakteri penyebab sepsis pada neonatus di ruang rawat intensif neonatus Rumah Sakit dr.Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Pada penelitian ini, darah pasien yang diduga mengalami sepsis diambil dan diperiksa di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi Klinik RSUD dr.Zainoel Abidin mulai Januari 2012 sampai Februari 2013. Dari 38 sampel penelitian yang dikultur, didapatkan adanya pertumbuhan bakteri pada 6 sampel biakan darah. Dipstick urin (VerifyTM) ini dicelupkan ke dalam urin dan langsung dibaca hasil dengan mencocokkan warna standard pada dipstick urin (VerifyTM) dengan waktu 30-120 detik. Dipstick urin ini secara semikuantitatif meliputi pengukuran nilai leukosit, nitrit, urobilinogen, protein, pH, darah dalam urin, berat jenis, keton, bilirubin dan glukosa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kambing yang berumur 6 bulan terdapat nitrit, darah 1 ekor, pH bersifat basa dan BJ dalam keadaan normal. This research was done from October to November 2013. The Sample used in this research was urine of local goats (Capra sp.) male and female 13 goats in the morning dipstick urine by dipping dipstick urine( VerifyTM) into the urine which has collected before. Dipstick urine (VerifyTM) dipped in the urine and directly read by comparing the results with a standard color on urine dipstick (VerifyTM) with interval 30-120 seconds. The urine dipstick semiquantitatively include measurement of leukocyte, nitrite, urobilinogen, protein, pH, blood in the urine, specific gravity, ketones, bilirubin and glucose. The results of this research showed that the goat at the age of 6 months nitrite 1 goat, blood 1 goat, alkaline pH and SG under normal circumstances. At the age of 1-3 years old goats there are leukocytes in 4 goats, nitrite 2 goats, proteins 4 goats, bilirubin 1 goat, pH is alkaline and SG under normal circumstances.
