Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan tindakan pencegahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat gambaran pencegahan sekunder komplikasi pada pasien DM tipe II. Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif eksploratif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh pasien diabetes melitus tipe II yang berobat di Poliklinik Endokrin Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh tahun 2012. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling pada 77 responden yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 01-14 Agustus 2012. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dalam bentuk skala dikotomi dengan skala ukur ordinal yang terdiri dari 13 item pernyataan. Data dianalisa secara deskriptif dengan menentukan persentase dengan kategori melakukan dan tidak melakukan pencegahan sekunder terhadap komplikasi DM. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh pencegahan sekunder komplikasi DM adalah sebagai berikut terdapat 42 orang (54,5%) dengan berat badan berlebih, 46 orang (59,7%) dengan kadar kolesterol yang tinggi, 42 orang (54,5%) dengan kurang aktifitas dan 15 orang (42,3%) laki-laki dari 26 orang laki-laki masih merokok. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, masih banyak pasien yang belum melakukan pencegahan sekunder komplikasi DM. Manajemen stres adalah serangkaian strategi yag dapat membantu seseorang memodifikasi berbagai perilaku yang beresiko terhadap kesehatan sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan manajemen stres dengan kualitas hidup lansia di Gampong Peuniti Kecamatan Baiturrahman Banda Aceh. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik pengumpulan sampel dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling pada 54 responden dari 120 populasi Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada tanggal 7 sampai 10 Juli 2012. Alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dalam bentuk skala likert yang terdiri dari 35 item pernyataan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji chi-square dengan confidence interval 95% dan ?=0.05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan gambaran manajemen stres lansia di Gampong Peuniti secara umum berada pada kategori kurang dengan frekuensi 30 responden (55,6%) dan gambaran kualitas hidup lansia di Gampong Peuniti juga berada pada kategori kurang dengan frekuensi 29 responden (53,7%) yang berarti ada hubungan antara manajemen stres dengan kualitas hidup lansia di Gampong Peuniti Kecamatan Baiturrahman Banda Aceh dengan p-value = 0,000. Perubahan eliminasi urine yang terjadi pada lansia akan berdampak pada gangguan konsep dirinya. Konsep diri merupakan bagian yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari diri setiap individu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan perubahan eliminasi urine dengan konsep diri pada lansia di Unit Pelaksanaan Teknis Dinas (UPTD) Rumoh Seujahtera Geunaseh Sayang Banda Aceh 2012. Desain penelitian deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode total sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 70 lansia. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada tanggal 22-23 Desember 2012 di. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa kuesioner dalam bentuk cheek list, terdiri dari 28 item pernyataan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara terpimpin. Data dianalisis menggunakan program komputerisasi SPSS dengan menggunakan analisa formula chi-square test dengan confidence interval 95% dan alpha (?) 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil analisa bivariat menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada hubungan antara perubahan eliminasi urin dengan gambaran diri pada lansia (nilai P=0,000, P??). (2) ada hubungan antara perubahan eliminasi urin dengan harga diri pada lansia (nilai P=0,000, P??). (3) ada hubungan antara perubahan eliminasi urin dengan peran diri pada lansia (nilai P=0,000 , P??). (4) ada hubungan antara perubahan eliminasi urin dengan identitas diri pada lansia (nilai P=0,005, P??). Secara umum menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara perubahan eliminasi urin dengan konsep diri pada lansia (nilai P=0,000, P??). Urinary elimination changes that occur in the elderly will have an impact on the self-concept disorders. Self concept is an inseparable part of every individual. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of urine elimination changes with self-concept in the elderly at Unit Pelaksana Teknik Dinas (UPTD) Rumoh Seujahtera Geunaseh Sayang Banda Aceh 2012. Desain District is descriptive correlative study with a cross sectional study. The sampling technique was conducted using total sampling with a total sample of 70 elderly. The data was collected on 22-23 December 2012. Data collection tool used in the form of a questionnaire with checking list with 28 items statement and the method used was interviews guided by referring to the questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS computerized program with using the formula analysis chi-square test with 95% a confidence interval and alpha (?) 0.05. The result of bivariate analysis indicate that (1) there is a relationship between changes in urinary elimination with a picture of himself in the elderly (P = 0.000, P ? ?). (2) there is a relationship between between changes in urinary elimination of self-esteem in the elderly (P = 0.000, P ? ?). (3) there is a relationship between changes in urinary elimination of the role of self in the elderly (P = 0.000, P ? ?). (4) there is a relationship between changes in urinary elimination of self-identity in the elderly (P = 0.005, P ? ?). The general indicate that is a relationship between changes in urinary elimination of self-concept of the elderly (P = 0.000, P ? ?). This plant was collected from Rejang Lebong region, Bengkulu Province. Methanol extract 96% from stem of purple yam was studied its anti-oxidant activity in various concentrations with α-tocopherol (200 ppm) as standard of antioxidant. Antioxidant activity was determined using Thiobarbituric Acid (TBA) method. Linoleic acid was oxidized at 40 ºC for seven days with or without extract and the final product malondialdehyde (MDA) was reacted with thiostembituric acid to be of red colored complex (MDA-TBA) and was then measured by UV-VIS spectrophotometer at λ 532 nm. Stem extract of purple yam with concentration of 100 ppm, 150 ppm, 200 ppm and 300 ppm respectively had the inhibition of 19.32%, 21.85%, 29.47%, and 31.05%.  α-Tocopherol as positive control which showed inhibition ability of 85.14% at 200 ppm. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Dinas Sosial Aceh, sedangkan yang menjadi objek penelitian ini adalah pengaruh pendidikan, kecerdasan emosi dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai Dinas Sosial Aceh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan, kecerdasan emosional, kepuasan kerja secara simultan maupun parsial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, pendidikan, kecerdasan emosional, kepuasan kerja juga berpengaruh baik secara simultan maupun parsial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja organisasi, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa kinerja pegawai juga mempunyai pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kinerja organisasi serta terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung pendidikan, kecerdasan emosional, kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja organisasi melalui kinerja pegawai Dinas Sosial Aceh. Corresponding author: Date A point or period of time associated with an event in the lifecycle of the resource 2012-08-01 Description An account of the resource Abstract - A mesoscale meteorological model of modified land cover to the effect of urban heat island (UHI) in Jakarta was done. Although higher temperature in the city has been generally known, factors and issues that result in the increase of temperature particularly nighttime temperature over the city, however, are not well-understood. Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, is encountering urbanization problems foremost. The increasing demand of housing as well as rapid development of sky crapper building, market places and highway diminishes the vegetation which in turn trap heat in the troposphere throughout the year, particularly during dry season on June-August. The fifth-generation mesoscale meteorological model (MM5) was employed in the study. The model involves medium range forecast planetary boundary layer (MRF PBL) scheme and land surface with two following parameters: i.e. roughness length over land and thermal inertia of land. These two parameters are chosen to enhance the characteristics of land surface. The simulation was carried out for 3 days on August 5-7, 2004 during dry season. The results showed that the simulation of surface temperature done by MM5 modified land cover described a good comparison to that of weather observation data. As a result, the effect of UHI was also well-observed during day-time. In addition, MM5 modified land cover simulation also illustrated a well-development of sea-breeze and country-breeze during mid-day and nighttime, respectively. However, long-term simulation is still required. Thus, daily diurnal cycles of air temperature and their differences can be well-observed in detail.
