The objective of present study was to study the diversity of macrozoobenthos in Kuala Gigieng estuary, Aceh Besar. The study was conducted in June 2011. The random sampling method was used to determine the area and sampling points based on tidal activities. Samples were taken with the Eckmann grab, then identified at Marine Biological Laboratory of Marine Science Department. The results showed that there were three class of macrozoobenhos (Malacostraca, Gastropoda, and bivalves) within 12 species of makrozoobenthos occured in Kuala Gigieng. The Shannon-Wienner diversity index (H') at high tide, mean sea level, and low tide were 1.26, 1.446, and 1.892, respectively, and it was categorized as low level. Keywords. Yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacores) is a large, pelagic, and migratory species of tuna that inhabits Moluccas Sea in Indonesia, and most sea environment worldwide. However, high fishing activities tend to happen in the Indonesia region and catch product appear to be decreasing. A better understanding of yellowfin tuna genetic diversity is required to plan better conservation strategy of tuna. The study was conducted to infer the genetic diversity of yellowfin tuna (T. albacores) in the Moluccas Sea. A total of 41 tissue samples of yellowfin tuna were collected from two regions in the Moluccas Sea (North Moluccas and Ambon) during an expedition in February 2013. The results showed that genetic diversity and nucleotide diversity of yellowfin tuna from North Moluccas population was 0.984 and 0.021, respectively; while in Ambon population, the genetic and nucleotide diversities were 1.00 and 0.018, respectively. The high genetic diversity (0.990) and nucleotide diversity (0.020) between two populations were observed. Tuna sirip kuning (Thunnus albacores) adalah ikan komersial penting dan ditemukan di Laut Maluku, Indonesia. Tetapi, aktivitas penangkapan ikan tuna sirip kuning dapat menurunkan kualitas dan kuantitas stok ikan, sehingga perlu adanya pengkajian keragaman genetik ikan tuna sirip kuning. Pemahaman yang baik tentang keragaman genetika dibutuhkan untuk merencanakan strategi konservasi tuna yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keragaman genetik  ikan tuna sirip kuning dari dua populasi di Laut Maluku. Sebanyak 41 sampel jaringan dari tuna sirip kuning dikumpulkan dari dua populasi di Laut Maluku (Maluku Utara dan Ambon) selama ekspedisi pada bulan Februari 2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keragaman genetik populasi tuna sirip kuning pada perairan Maluku Utara dan Ambon masing-masing sebesar 0,984 dan 1,00 sedangkan nilai keragaman nukleotida masing-masing bernilai 0,021 dan 0,018. Nilai keragaman genetik dan keragaman nukloetida yang tinggi didaptkan antar kedua populasi masing-masing sebesar 0,990 dan 0,020. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan tugas kesehatan keluarga pada lansia yang mengalami diabetes melitus di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kuta Alam Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian deskriptif eksploratif dengan populasinya adalah keluarga dengan lansia yang mengalami diabetes melitus di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kuta Alam sebanyak 135 keluarga. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan tehnik purposive sampling dan responden sebanyak 63 keluarga dengan lansia yang mengalami diabetes melitus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket. Analisis data menggunakan distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 85,7% keluarga mampu mengenal masalah, 69,8% keluarga kurang mampu mengambil keputusan kesehatan yang tepat, 81,0% keluarga mampu merawat lansia, 87,3% keluarga mampu memodifikasi lingkungan, dan 87,3% keluarga mampu memanfaatkan fasilitas kesehatan. Secara keseluruhan 77,8% keluarga yang mempunyai lansia yang mengalami diabetes melitus di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kuta Alam telah mampu melaksanakan tugas kesehatan keluarga. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the possibility of jaloh leaf powders as alternative raw material for the formulated diet ofAfrican catfish (Clarias gariepinus). Four concentrations of jaloh leaf powders (0%, 5%, 10% and 15%) were examined in this study. The experimental fish were fed three times a day (on 08.00 am, 12.00 am and 17.00 pm) with feeding ration of 5% of body weight and the fish was reared for 35 days. The ANOVA test showed that the different concentration of jaloh leaf powders gave a significantly effect on growth performance of African catfish larvae (P<0,05) but did not give significantly effect on the survival rate (P>0,05). The Duncans test showed that the higher survival rate and growth performance were found in the control (without jaloh leaf powders). Therefore it is concluded that the jaloh leaf powders is not suitable as alternativerows material for African catfish diet.Key words: Protein; Carbohydrate; Catfish; Alternative feed Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kemungkinan pemanfaatan  tepung daun jaloh (S. tetrasperma) sebagai bahan baku alternatif untuk pakan ikan lele(C. gariepinus). Dalam penelitian ini telah diuji beberapa tingkat proporsi tepung daun jaloh yaitu (0%, 5%, 10%, dan 15%) .Pemberian pakan dilakukan tiga kali sehari, yaitu pada pukul 08.00, 12.00 dan 17.00 WIB,sebanyak5%dari berat bobot tubuhnyaselama 35 hari. Hasil uji ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa pemberian tepung daun jaloh memberikan pengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan mutlak dan pertumbuhan harian benih ikan lele dumbo (P<0,05), namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kelangsungan hidup (P>0,05). Uji lanjut Duncan’s  menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan kontrol (tanpa daun jaloh) dalam pakan memberikan hasil terbaik dari segi pertumbuhan mutlak, pertumbuhan harian dan kelangsungan hidup. Apabila pasien tidak puas maka jumlah pasien akan mengalami penurunan. Tujuan penenlitian adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan kepuasan pasien rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Umum Meuraxa dan Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif; comparative study dengan desain cross sectional study. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah teknik accidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel 106 orang yaitu 53 orang di Rumah Sakit Umum Meuraxa dan 53 orang di Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kepuasan pasien rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Umum Meuraxa dan Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak tahun 2013 dengan p-value 0,006 yaitu terdapat perbedaan kepuasan pasien rawat inap ditinjau dari kenyataan dengan p-value 0,025, tidak terdapat perbedaan kepuasan pasien rawat inap ditinjau dari kehandalan dengan p-value 0,385, terdapat perbedaan kepuasan pasien rawat inap ditinjau dari ketanggapan dengan p-value 0,012, tidak terdapat perbedaan kepuasan pasien rawat inap ditinjau dari jaminan dengan p-value 0,252 dan tidak ada perbedaan kepuasan pasien rawat inap ditinjau dari empati dengan p-value 0,362. The Results showed that most of  respondents were  in the productive age (31-45 years).  The majority of the respondents have recieved subsidies from a variety of sources both government and non-governmental organizations. The common type of subsidy were in the form of goods (in kinds) namely: boats, fishing gear and boat engines, and small portion in cash. In addition, the majority of fishermen stated that the type of assistance provided was in accordance with their needs as fishermen and most fishermen are still expected that fisheries subsidies should be continued. In regard to environmental  and conservation issues that  most fishermen agreed with the conservation area in the district of Aceh Besar. However, most of the respondents stated that they have not been involved in conservation activities.
