Its function is still unclear. This is an encouragement to study the gene by disrupting the expression of the gene. This study was aimed to generate Arabidopsis thaliana possessing suppressed Atnda1 utilizing RNA interference.  Double stranded nda1-RNAi silencing was chosen for this project. The generation of the lines was started by creating specific primer for Atnda1. The creation of nda1-RNAi cassette used the Gateway cloning. We utilized Agrobacterium strain GV3101 as a mediator to transfer the cassette into the plants. Dipping the flower into Agrobactrium solution was done to transfer the nda1-RNAi cassette into wild type Arabidopsis. The seeds collected from the mutant plants were checked in selective media. Contamination was the daunting problem in the process of checking the plants. This was crucial to ensure that the insertion has been done successfully. However, selection of the mutants must be done before analysis of the function is carried on the mutants. The refrigerant in the cooling system releases the heat into the air with the help of the motor fan. In order to release the heat faster, the condenser pipe winding is designed and equipped with fins. The heat released from the condenser will be discharged to the air. This will lead to global warming if large numbers of air conditioning system are used. In this case, thermoelectric technology is a main alternative solution that can be implemented. Thermoelectric converts heat energy directly into electrical energy. Therefore, in this paper, we design a simple power system by utilizing waste heat energy from a condensor based on thermoelectric method. Based on the result of the experiment, an average temperature of 34°C results in voltage of 3.14 Volts and power of 0.16 Watts. The zone lies on low flat plain at Tanjung Harapan Village, west coast of Aceh. The process of site investigation is controlled by: occurrence of groundwater, nature of bedrock, and presence of clays. Prediction of liquefaction zones in high seismicity regions will be a great help to mitigate hazards. Geoelectric resistivity using a combination both vertical electrical sounding and horizontal resistivity images of Wenner-Schlumberger configuration have been carried out and can be of help to delineate the liquefaction zones. With this backdrop, it believe that in conjunction with soil and sediment characteristics indicating high susceptibility to liquefaction, and resistivity anomalies will provide vital information to predict and identify the liquefaction zones. Results of this study revealed the surface layer consists of loose sediments, sandy clay, and silty sandy layer are potentially liquefied during earthquake.
