                <text>Recently, there has been significant research interest in cogasification of coaland various types of biomass blends to improve biomass gasification and syngasproduction. In addition, ash present in biomass catalyses the gasification of coal. This experiment was conducted on the cogasification of various types of coal and biomass using drop tube gasifier under two sets temperatures 1173 and 1273K respectively. Most of the reactions are considered as endothermic, the heat input is needed to conduct the reactions. The additions of biomass to NL coal during co-gasification give no effect on gasification, since the reaction is endothermic. The increasing temperature from 1173 to 1273K only give small increase in the yield gas and efficiency due to the short of residence time</text>

                <text>Gaya belajar merupakan kombinasi dari bagaimana mahasiswa menyerap, kemudianmengatur, serta mengolah informasi. Secara umum terdapat tiga gaya belajar utamayaitu visual, auditorial, dan kinestetik. Gaya belajar sangat penting bagi setiapmahasiswa. Ketika mahasiswa mengetahui gaya belajarnya, mahasiswa tersebut akanmenggunakan gaya belajar itu ke dalam proses belajar sehingga mahasiswa akanbelajar dengan lebih mudah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gayabelajar mahasiswa Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi di Fakultas KeperawatanUniversitas Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh Tahun 2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalahdeskriptif eksploratif dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional study. Teknikpengambilan sampel menggunakan stratified proportional sampling dengan jumlahsampel sebanyak 216 mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 23 sampai 30Mei 2014. Alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dengan skala likert yang terdiridari 36 item pertanyaan. Metode analisis data dengan menggunakan analisisunivariat. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh gaya belajar visual sebanyak 114mahasiswa (52,8%), gaya belajar auditorial sebanyak 77 mahasiswa (35,6%), dangaya belajar kinestetik sebanyak 25 mahasiswa (11,6%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitiantersebut, peneliti menyarankan kepada mahasiswa untuk mengenali gaya belajarsendiri dan kepada pihak fakultas untuk melakukan pengkajian terhadap gaya belajarmahasiswa secara keseluruhan sehingga metode/strategi mengajar dosen dapatdisesuaikan dengan gaya belajar mahasiswa dan kemudian hasil belajar mahasiswatercapai dengan optimal.</text>

                <text>Abstract: Style or manner of a school principal in his capacity as leader largely determine success in improving teacher performance under his leadership. The purpose of this study was to obtain data on (1) the principal's leadership style in improving labor discipline, (2) the principal's leadership style to motivate the work of teachers, (3) the principal's leadership style in increasing responsibilities and (4) constraints faced by principals in improving teacher performance. This study shows that (1) the principal's leadership style instructive apply (telling) in improving discipline, (2) applying the principal consultative leadership style (selling) in improving work motivation of teachers, (3) the principal's leadership style apply discretionary (delegating) in improving the teacher's responsibility, and (4) the obstacles faced by the school principal that the decline in teacher discipline, teacher performance lack of motivation, and low sense of responsibility in the learning of teachers. It is recommended that the principals can implement a better leadership style or varied so that the desired goal can be achieved with good and maximum.Keywords: Principal Leadership Styles and Teacher PerformanceAbstrak: Gaya atau cara seorang kepala sekolah dalam kapasitasnya sebagai pemimpin sangat menentukan keberhasilan peningkatan kinerja guru di bawah pimpinannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan data tentang (1) gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja, (2) gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja guru, (3) gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan tanggung jawab dan  (4) kendala-kendala yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi.                 <text>Abstract: Style principals strongly influence the behavior of subordinates, but if subordinate behavior may not necessarily be able to influence the behavior of their superiors. Principal's leadership style is a consistent pattern of behavior shown by the leader and the other party known as a leader trying to influence the activities of others. The purpose of the study to determine the leadership style of the principal, including: (1) Discipline; (2) Commitment; (3) Ability and (4) The responsibility of the teacher. Qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data collection techniques performed with interview guides, observation, and study documentation. Subjects were principals, teachers and supervisors in SD Negeri 7 Muara Dua Lhoksuemawe. The results of the study found: (1) the principal's style of leadership in promoting the discipline of teachers, is a style of informing (telling), in addition to telling style, principals also apply situational style; (2) the principal's leadership style in improving teacher commitment is selling styles (consultative) by directing the teacher to complete the task; (3) the principal's leadership style to improve the ability of teachers, namely the implementation of a participative style during an internal meeting board of teachers and other meetings; and (4) the principal's style of leadership in improving the teacher's responsibility, is to force the sharing discretionary authority to the members of the organization to carry out the task. Expected to supervisors and principals in order to give impetus and direction in the performance of discipline, commitment, ability and responsibility of teachers to effectively and efficiently to improve the performance of teachers in schools.Keywords: Principal Leadership Styles and Teacher PerformanceAbstrak: Gaya kepala sekolah sangat mempengaruhi perilaku bawahannya, tetapi bila perilaku bawahan belum tentu dapat mempengaruhi perilaku atasannya. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, meliputi: (1) Disiplin; (2) Komitmen; (3) Kemampuan dan (4) Tanggung jawab guru. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru dan pengawas di SD Negeri 7 Muara Dua Lhoksuemawe. Hasil penelitian ditemukan: (1) Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin guru, adalah gaya memberitahukan (telling), selain gaya telling, kepala sekolah juga menerapkan gaya situasional; (2) Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan komitmen guru adalah gaya selling (konsultatif) dengan mengarahkan guru untuk menyelesaikan tugasnya; (3) Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan guru, yaitu gaya partisipatif yang diterapkannya pada saat rapat internal dewan guru dan rapat lainnya; dan (4) Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan tanggung jawab guru, ialah gaya delegatif yaitu melakukan sharing authority kepada anggota untuk melaksanakan tugas organisasi.                 <text>Kepala sekolah sebagai top manager sekolah memiliki peran yang strategis dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran guru. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam merencanakan program, melaksanakan program, mengorganisasikan pembelajaran, dan melaksanakan evaluasi untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data observasi dan wawancara, subjek penelitian kepala sekolah,  wakil kepala sekolah, dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam merencanakan program pembelajaran guru menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan yang bervariasi sesuai dengan masalah yang dihadapi para guru. Secara dominan kepala sekolah menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis sehingga guru-guru merasa sangat senang dalam melaksanakan tugasnya. Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan program pembelajaran guru pada MTsN Sigli adalah dengan menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis. Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengorganisasikan pembelajaran guru dengan menerapkan gaya situasional. Upaya ini ditempuh kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan komitmen guru dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi proses pembelajaran. Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan evaluasi pembelajaran guru pada MTsN Sigli adalah dengan menerapkan gaya situasional.
