Depresi pada lanjut usia dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu proses penuaan, jenis kelamin, status pernikahan dan dukungan sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi depresi (usia, jenis kelamin, status pernikahan dan dukungan sosial) dengan tingkat depresi pada lanjut usia di Rumoh Seujahtra Geunaseh Sayang Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah survei analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 40 orang lanjut usia. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) dan kuesioner dukungan sosial. Lanjut usia yang tidak mengalami depresi (82,5%) lebih tinggi daripada yang mengalami depresi (17,5%). Hasil uji chi square menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat depresi dengan usia, jenis kelamin dan status pernikahan (p ? 0,05). Namun, ada hubungan antara tingkat depresi dengan dukungan sosial (p = 0,000). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dukungan sosial berperan besar terhadap tingkat depresi pada lanjut usia. Tilapia is an important fisheries comodity which intesively farmed in Indonesia. However, an intensive farming system of aquatic organism often lead to disease outbreak. Ones the disease emerged, it will be difficult to combat. The curing method by using antibiotics in aquatic organism will bring negative impacts, such as causing bacteria resistance and decline of aquatic environments. Therefore control of disease in aquatic organism should be done through preventive methods such as the use of β-glucan from baker’s yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). It is widely known that yeast’ cell wall contain of immunostimulant substance namely β-glucan. This research was aimed to find the effect of different dose of β-glucan in diet toward the phagocytic activity, respiratory burst which is indicated by Nitroblue Tetrazolium (NBT) activity, total of protein plasm and agglutination activity of tilapia blood. Method used in this study was experiment by complete random design using five treatments triplicate. Those treatments were β-glucan 0; 2,5; 5; 7,5 and 10 ppmkg-1 diet. Result showed that the different dose of β-glucan in diet gave a significantly effect on the phagocytic activity and total of protein plasm, but not on respiratory burst (NBT activity). The highest phagocytic activity occured in treatment E (β-glucan 10 ppmkg-1 diet) with the value of phagocytic activity was 37,67%, whereas the highest of total of protein plasm was occured in treatment B (β-glucan 2,5 ppmkg-1 diet) with the value of 123,58 mgml-1. Serangan asma bronkial dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya adalah gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Hubungan antara GERD dan asma pertama kali dikemukakan oleh Sir William Osler pada tahun 1892. GERD berhubungan dengan asma bronkial terutama pada asma yang tidak terkontrol. Tingkat kontrol asma lebih mengarah kepada upaya pengendalian gejala klinik penyakit termasuk perbaikan fungsi paru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan gejala GERD dengan tingkat kontrol asma pada penderita asma bronkial di Poli Paru RSUDZA Banda Aceh periode September sampai Oktober 2014.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan September sampai Oktober 2014. Pengambilan data menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan menggunakan consecutive sampling pada 59 responden penderita asma bronkial. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner GERDQ untuk menilai gejala GERD dan kuesioner ACT untuk menilai tingkat kontrol asma kemudian hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square.Hasil: Gejala GERD pada penderita asma yang tidak terkontrol yaitu sebanyak 32 responden (54,2%), sedangkan gejala GERD pada penderita asma terkontrol sebagian adalah sebanyak 4 responden (6,8%). Penderita asma yang tidak mengalami gejala GERD dan mempunyai asma tidak terkontrol adalah sebanyak 11 responden (18,6%), sedangkan penderita asma yang tidak mengalami GERD dan memiliki kontrol asma sebagian adalah sebanyak 12 responden (20,3%).Simpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara gejala GERD dengan tingkat kontrol asma pada penderita asma bronkial di Poli Paru RSUDZA Banda Aceh periode September sampai Oktober 2014 (P=0,001). Sedangkan operasi pemesinan tanpa cairan pendingin dilakukan pada mesin kendali numerik dengan putaran spindel yang sama serta variasi kedalaman mata potong 0,5mm, 0,75mm, 1mm dan 2mm. Jumlah narapidana penderita HIV telah bertambah dari 687 di tahun 2010 menjadi 783 di tahun 2012. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan, sikap dengan pencegahan HIV/AIDS pada narapidana pemakai narkoba di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan kelas IIA Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional survey . Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2012 sampai dengan Maret 2013. Sampel diambil dari total populasi yang berjumlah sebanyak 32 orang. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan, sikap dan pencegahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karakteristik responden yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki (100%), kelompok umur tertinggi 21-25 dan 31-35 tahun (28,13%), belum menikah (65,25%), tamat SMA (50%), pernah menggunakan Shabu-shabu (46,88%) dan 87% narkoba dipakai dengan cara dihisap. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan pencegahan HIV/AIDS (p-value = 0,035) dan terdapat hubungan antara sikap dengan pencegahan HIV/AIDS (p-value = 0,026). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan dan sikap merupakan aspek penting untuk seseorang melakukan pencegahan HIV/AIDS. Hal ini dikarenakan orang yang memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap yang kurang baik memiliki kecendrungan untuk melakukan pencegahan yang kurang baik pula. Saran pada penelitian ini adalah hendaknya Dinas Kesehatan Banda Aceh dan Komisi Penanggulangan AIDS Nasional (KPAN) dapat meningkatkan upaya promotif berupa penyuluhan mengenai HIV/AIDS serta cara pencegahannya.
