Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kepuasan pasien setelah melakukan perawatan ortodonti cekat pada dokter gigi umum dan dokter gigi spesialis ortodonti pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 40 orang mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi yang telah selesai melakukan perawatan ortodonti cekat pada dokter gigi umum dan dokter gigi spesialis ortodonti yang ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil perawatan ortodonti cekat pada dokter gigi spesialis ortodonti 20% responden sangat puas, 75% responden puas dan 5% responden tidak puas. Perawatan ortodonti cekat pada dokter gigi umum 50% responden puas dan 50% responden tidak puas. Kata Kunci: Kepuasan pasien, ortodonti cekat. Patient satisfaction is a patients level of feelings that arise as a result of health service performance is obtained after comparing it with what patients expect. The goals of orthodontic treatment is to create a balance between dental occlusal relationships, facial aesthetics as well as the stability of the treatment results. The study aims to determine preview level of patient satisfaction after perform fixed orthodontic treatment at the orthodontists and general dentists at students of the Faculty of dentistry at the Syiah Kuala University in Banda Aceh. The study was an descriptive research. The subjects of this study was 40 students of dentistry in Syiah Kuala University who finished fixed orthodontic treatment at the orthodontists and general dentists with determined by sampling purposive method. The data collecting by using questionnaires. The results showed that the results of fixed orthodontic treatment on orthodontist 20% of respondents were very satisfied, 75% of respondents were satisfied and 5% of respondents were not satisfied. The fixed orthodontic treatment on general dentists 50% of respondents were satisfied and 50% of respondents were not satisfied.Key Words: Patient satisfaction, fixed orthodontic appliance. Tingginya angka penyakit gigi dan mulut sangat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yang salah satunya adalah faktor perilaku masyarakat. Hal ini dikarenakan perilaku memiliki peran penting untuk mempengaruhi status kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Perilaku masyarakat menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut erat hubungannya dengan tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku memelihara kebersihan gigi dan mulut pada pasien di Poli Gigi Puskesmas Kuta Malaka Aceh Besar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan jumlah subjek sebanyak 96 orang. Cara pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan subjek yang memiliki pengetahuan menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut dalam kategori baik sebanyak 32 (33,3%) orang, kategori sedang 57 (59,4%) orang dan kategori buruk sebanyak 7 (7,3%) orang. Subjek yang memiliki perilaku menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut dalam kategori baik sebanyak 21 (21,9%) orang , kategori sedang sebanyak 63 (65,6%) orang dan kategori buruk sebanyak 12 (12,5%) orang. Disimpulkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku tentang pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut pada pasien di Poli Gigi Puskesmas Kuta Malaka Aceh Besar mayoritas berada dalam kategori sedang.Kata kunci : Pengetahuan, perilaku, pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Beberapa wanita menganggap tanda dan gejala menopause adalah keluhan yang tidak normal. Hal ini disebabkan karena Sebagian besar wanita tidak mengetahui bahwa perubahan tersebut merupakan suatu proses yang alami menjelang menopause. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat pengetahuan wanita menopause tentang perubahan fisiologis menopause di Kampung Ateuk Pahlawan Kota Banda. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua wanita usia 40-50 tahun sebanyak 170 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling dengan besar sampel60 responden. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat. Sumber fluoride terdapat pada alam bebas seperti pada air, udara, makanan dan minuman, namun pada umumnya fluoride diketahui terdapat pada pasta gigi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat pengetahuan tentang fluoride pada masyarakat kota Banda Aceh pada tahun 2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dan pengambilan subjek dilakukan dengan mengunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini melibatkan 400 orang di 90 desa dari 9 kecamatan kota Banda Aceh. Kecamatan yang termasuk dalam penelitian ini yaitu Kecamatan Baiturrahman, Kuta Alam, Meuraxa, Syiah Kuala, Lueng Bata, Kutaraja, Banda Raya, Jaya Baru, dan Ulee Kareng. Data yang diambil pada penelitian ini adalah data primer, yaitu data yang langsung diambil dari sampel penelitian melalui pengisian kuisioner secara langsung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gambaran tingkat pengetahuan tentang fluoride pada masyarakat kota Banda Aceh pada tahun 2015 adalah 8,75% baik, 91,30% cukup, dan 41,25% kurang.
