Senyawa metabolit sekunder diisolasi dengan kromatografi kolom menggunakan silika gel G 60 (70-230 mesh). Elusi menggunakan diklorometana: metanol dan dihasilkan lima subfraksi (A, B, C, D dan E). Pengujian aktivitas antibakteri kulit batang L. grandis dengan konsentrasi 5%, 10% dan 20% b/v pada larutan uji ekstrak diklorometana dan Subfraksi dengan menggunakan metode Kirby- Bauer menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak diklorometana memiliki diameter zona hambat sebesar 7-14.75 mm terhadap S. aureus dan 7-13 mm terhadap E. coli. Subfraksi yang memiliki aktivitas antibakteri ditunjukkan oleh subfraksi B dan C. Diameter zona hambat yang dihasilkan oleh subfraksi B pada E. coli sebesar 7-7.5 mm dan 9.5 mm terhadap S. aureus. Sedangkan pada subfraksi C diameter zona hambat yang dihasilkan sebesar 7-9.75 mm pada E. coli dan 10-11 m pada S. aureus. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak diklorometana L. grandis memberikan aktivitas antibakteri yang baik dibandingkan dengan subfraksi aktif dan diduga senyawa yang terkandung pada ekstrak dan subfraksi aktif merupakan alkaloid dan terpenoid.Kata kunci : L. grandis, Lauraceae, antibakteri, alkaloid, terpenoid. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis deskriptif untukmelihat pertumbuhan jumlah industri pengolahan di Kota Banda Aceh selama 3tahun terakhir. Variabel penelitian ini adalah tenaga kerja, investasi, dan lokasiindustri, sedangkan variabel tak bebas adalah nilai produksi. Data yang digunakandalam penelitian ini yaitu data 52 sampel industri pengolahan di Kota Banda Acehpada 2011-2013 yang diperoleh dari Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan sertaDinas Perhubungan dan Telekomunikasi Kota Banda Aceh. Model yang digunakanpada penelitian ini adalah Pooled Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tenaga kerja, investasi, dan lokasi industri berpengaruh positif secarasignifikan terhadap nilai produksi, yang berarti bahwa apabila tenaga kerja, investasidan biaya ongkos angkut meningkat maka nilai produksi juga akan meningkat.Dengan analisis deskriptif terbukti bahwa adanya pertumbuhan jumlah industripengolahan Di Kota Banda Aceh sebanyak 107 unit. Untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan nilai produksi, pemerintah serta dinas terkait diharapkan dapat meningkatkanperhatiannya kepada industri pengolahan dengan penyuluhan, pemberian bantuanmodal dan lain-lain. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat membandingkanindustri pengolahan Di Kota Banda Aceh dengan daerah lain.Kata Kunci : Tenaga Kerja, Investasi, Lokasi Industri, Nilai Produksi, Pertumbuhan Industri Pengolahan, dan Pooled Least Square.
