Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif denganpendekatan eksperimen semu, populasi siswa kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Sakti,Kabupaten Pidie, sampel dipilih ecara acak sebanyak dua kelas yaitu: kelas X MIA1sebagai kelas ekspetimen dan kelas X MIA2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data yangdikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes kemampuan pemahaman dan angketdiposisi matematis. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t dan uji anava satu arah.Setelah data diolah dan dianalisis diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu: (1) Peningkatankemampuan pemahaman yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan pembelajaran modelkooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together lebih baik dari yang diajarkan denganpembelajaran konvensional, (2) peningkatan disposisi matematis siswa yang diajarkandengan menggunakan pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Togetherlebih baik dari siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajan konvensional, (3) Terdapatkorelasi positif antara peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa denganpeningkatan disposisi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: Kemampuan pemahaman matematis, disposisi matematis model kooperatif,tipe Numbered Head Together.
