This research employed a complete randomized design with unidirectional pattern by using white rats (Rattus norvegicus) divided into five groups. Negative control group was fed with standard diet, while positive control groups were fed with high cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia) diet, group K were fedwith tomato extract at a dose of 10, 20, and 40 mg/kg together with high cholesterol diet. The result of this researchshowed that high cholesterol diet fed decreased simultaneously with tomato extract at a dose of 10, 20, and 40 mg /kg of rats after 60 days of treatment. Tomato extract was able prevent the formation of plaque in the coronary arteries of rats fed with hypercholesterolemia diet. Effective dose oftomatoextractused in this study was 20-40mg/kg. Nafasindo di Kabupaten Aceh Singkil. Hasil penelitian ini, rata-rata total pendapatan yang diterima oleh buruh pemanen kelapa sawit adalah sebesar Rp. 2.193.967,-/bulan. Berdasarkan jumlah tanggungan buruh pemanen kelapa sawit, dengan rata-rata tanggungan tiga orang termasuk istri dan satu orang kepala keluarga, maka besarnya pendapatan buruh panen kelapa sawit adalah Rp. 548.491,75,- per kapita per bulan atau setara dengan Rp. 18.283,06,- per kapita per hari. The a-SiGe:H films ware grown on corning glass 7059 substrate using 10% diluted mixture of GeH4 and SiH4 gases, respectively. The GeH4 gas flow rate was varied from 2.5 – 12.5 sccm, while the flow rate of SiH4 was kept constant at 70 sccm. The results showed that the deposition rate of a-SiGe:H thin films increased by  increasing of GeH4 gas flow rate. In addition, the Ge content in the film increased and  the optical band gap decreased. The dark conductivity of a-SiGe:H films were relatively constant, whereas the photo conductivity decreased with increasing of Ge content. Hal ini dapat mempengaruhi mutu dari jagung manis itu sendiri, sehingga perlu dilakukan pre-cooling atau pendinginan awal pada jagung manis.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh lama pre-cooling dan suhu penyimpanan terhadap mutu jagung manis.Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan perlakuan pre-cooling pada tiga taraf yaitu30, 90 dan 150 menit, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan perlakuan penyimpanan pada suhu 5,15 dan 30oC. Pengamatan dilakukan selama 10 hari dengan interval pengambilan data setiap 2 hari sekali, dan pengamatan dihentikan apabila panelis telah memberikan skor minimal 2 (tidak suka). Parameter analisis meliputi susut bobot, kadar air, total padatan terlarut (TPT), kandungan vitamin C, dan kekerasan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa panelis menolak jagung manis yang disimpan pada suhu 30oC pada hari ke-4, sedangkan jagung manis yang simpan pada suhu 15 dan 5oC ditolak pada hari ke-10 penyimpanan. Susut bobot terendah adalah 12,22% yang diidentifikasikan pada jagung manis dengan perlakuan pre-cooling 90 menit dan suhu penyimpanan 5oC.Adapun kadar air dan kandungan TPT perlakuan terbaik terdapat pada jagung manis yang diberi perlakuan pre-cooling 150 menit dan penyimpanan suhu 5oC, dengan rincian sebagai berikut kadar air total 51,12% dan kandungan TPT 8,27oBrix. Sedangkan kandungan vitamin C tertinggi (18,19 mg/100 g bahan segar) diperoleh pada jagung manis yang diberi perlakuan pre-cooling 30 menit dan penyimpanan suhu 15oC. Jagung manis yang terlembut (2,11 kg/cm2) diperoleh dengan perlakuan pre-cooling 150 menit pada penyimpanan suhu 5oC. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlakuan pre-cooling dan penyimpanan pada suhu rendah berdampak pada bertahannya kualitas jagung manis, serta bertambahnya umur simpan. From the geological view the formation of jade is due to the mélange zone. The zone is usually an assemblage of a variety mineral composition. The paragenetic minerals of the jade can be divided into four categories, which are Jadeite, Nephrite, Serpentine and Vesuvianit. Kelompok kontrol tidak dilakukan torsi dan masing-masing kelompok perlakuan dilakukan torsi sebesar 3600 ke arah medial dan diberikan ekstrak kunyit sebanyak 50 mg/kgbb per hari dalam satu dosis yang diberikan setiap hari selama 30 hari (P1) dan tidak diberikan ekstrak kunyit lalu diamati selama 30 hari (P2).
