Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan guru menggunakan materi pelajaran, mengetahui strategi kepala sekolah dalam penggunaan metode mengajar, stategi kepala sekolah dalam mengevaluasi keberhasilan guru, dan mengetahui keadaan yang dialami kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi professional guru pada SMA Negeri 1 Peukan Bada Aceh Besar. Pendekatan yang diugunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah , kepala tata usaha, dan guru di SMA Negeri 1 Peukan Bada. Dari analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi professional guru menguasai materi dan metode pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan wakil kepala bidang kurikulum, MGMP dan guru dengan kegiatan pelatihan, kegiatan ilmiah, seperti seminar, lokakarya dan menulis karya ilmiah dalam bentuk tindakan kelas, Team teaching, inhausing MGMP, memotivasi guru melanjutkan pendidikan dan melakukan supervisi. Strategi kepala sekolah melakukan evaluasi dengan supervisi ke kelas pada waktu luang kadang-kadang dilakukan secara tiba-tiba. Hasil evaluasi tersebut dikumpulkan menjadi sebuah catatan kepala sekolah dan disampaikan pada kegiatan rapat dan forum MGMP sebagai tindak lanjut evaluasi yang sudah dilaksanakan. Hampir setengah dari bayi dengan Sindrom Down akan menderita kelainan jantung bawaan. Kelainan kromosom yang didapat memungkinkan terjadinya kelainan jantung dengan kemungkinan sebesar 50%. Sampel penelitian ini adalah anak Sindrom Down yang menderita kelainan jantung bawaan periode Oktober 2010-Februari 2014 di Poliklinik Jantung RSUDZA Banda Aceh berjumlah 67 anak dengan jumlah laki-laki sebanyak 35 anak dan perempuan sebanyak 32 anak. Dari jumlah tersebut, sebanyak 52,2% anak menderita kelainan jantung bawaan adalah jenis kelamin laki-laki. Usia anak Sindrom Down yang menderita kelainan jantung bawaan yang paling sering adalah usia < 1 tahun. kelainan jantung bawaan terbanyak didapatkan adalah jenis defek septum ventrikel, defek septum atrial dan duktus arteriosus. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif retrospektif yang dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan potong lintang yang menghubungkan variabel-variabel pada kelompok responden untuk melihat kelainan jantung bawaan pada anak-anak yang menderita Sindrom Down. Nearly half of babies with Down Syndrome will develop cardiac abnormalities. The chromosome abnormalities obtained allow the babies to have cardiac defect by 50% chances. The research was conducted in RSUDZA Banda Aceh to see congenital heart disease events in children with Down syndrome period October 2010 - February 2014. Total sampling technique was used. 67 cases of Down Syndrome were found, with the number of 35 male patients and 32 female patients. Of these, about 52,2% of patients were suffering from congenital heart disease with male number higher than female. Basal area (BA) and tree density were surveyed using variable-area transect method. Tree sapling species was surveyed using standard plots combined with circular elementary subplots laid along 60 m transect line. The result shown that BA and tree density of rubber agroforest system were lower significantly with forest at the diameter class &gt; 30 cm, but at the diameter class &lt; 30 cm there were not differ significantly. PCA analysis shown there was a positive correlation between BA non rubber tree with the species diversity and richness indices of tree sapling in rubber agroforest system and there was no correlation between density of non rubber tree and the indices. However, in the forest, BA and tree density were have a negative correlation with the species diversity and richness indices of tree sapling. For plant biodiversity studies,it was the first steps that researcher performed before studying any topics in the research area. Unfortunately, species identification is usually a time consuming activity. One of the main objectives of this study was to obtain a set of leaf morphology characters that were useful and efficient enough for species identification, especially on the tree habits group in order to reduce time consuming for the identification species.  All of the leaf morphology characters were selected by correlation coefficient and separation coefficient values. Besides of that, the stability, simplicity and validity of the characters were also part of concern. The characters that had high value of separation coefficient and low value of correlation coefficient would be added one by one as in their rank, until the value of the combination separation coefficient was equal to 1 (100%). The result of this study suggested that 30 from 92 characters of leaf morphology were recommended as a set of characters that useful and efficient enough for species identification. Extraction with n-Hexane of the flowers yielded 2,08% of extract, while leaves and stems yielded 3,21% and 2,19% of n-hexane extracts, respectively. The extracts showed different activity against both bioindicators. The leaves extracts showed the strongest activity indicated by wider diameters of inhibition zone, 19,7 mm against E. coli and 13,3 mm against S. aureus at 10% of the extracts’ concentration. At the same concentration (10%), the steam and flower extracts showed less inhibitory activities with  11,3 mm and 8,3 mm against E. coli, and 12,0 mm and 11,0 mm against S. aureus. At the lowest concentration of the extracts, the leaves extracts showed the strongest activity against E. coli (14,3 mm) while the steam extracts showed highest inhibitory activity against S. aureus ( 7,7 mm). Based on antimicrobial assay, it was suggested that the leaves extracts demonstrated strongest activity than other extracts. It was assumed that leaves extracts contained more secondary metabolite than flowers and steams, and the leaves have phenol compounds which are not present in other extracts. Kegiatan analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah mendistribusikan jawaban responden untuk mengetahui deskripsi jawaban sangat membantu mengetahui frekuensi jawaban yang diberikan responden.
