An experiment has been conducted to study the utilization of brewery waste in ration to improved the meat quality of lamb. High quality of lamb meat can be reached by manipulation of rumen fermentation. Tannins in brewery waste can decrease the activity of rumen microorganism and inhibite the rumen biohydrogenation processes. The experiment was conducted with an experimental method by in vivo technique, using 16 heads of local lamb, 4-5 months old, with body weight range of 5-10 kg.  The trial was conducted for 150 days, using Completely Randomized Block Design with 4 replicates. The treatment tested were 4 levels of Brewery Waste : R1 = 12%; R2 = 24%; R3 = 36% and R4 = 48%. The variables measured were : physical and chemical quality of meat. The result indicated, that the treatment tested significantly affect the meat quality physically, except to the percentage of edible distal meat and proximal bone weight.Based on the all variables measured, the research conclusion : (1) the utilization of brewery waste up to 48% dry matter  ration, could be used, without any physiology and metabolism disturbance; (2) the highest increasing of unsaturated fatty acid was stearic acid (C18:0) as much as 54. 60%, was reach by R3 (36% brewery waste); the linoleic acid increased as much as 43.91% reach by R4 (48% brewery waste);  the oleic acid increased as much as 37.48% by R2 ( 24% brewery waste). From the result can be suggested that the need of tannin brewery waste as biohydrogenation inhibitor would be more effective and efficient whenever brewery waste usage has been increased up to 60% dry matter ration. Sebagai Pembimbing AnggotaRINGKASANSirsak merupakan buah yang memiliki karakter mudah rusak dan umur simpannya relatif pendek yang diakibatkan oleh peningkatan respirasi yang sangat cepat. Untuk meningkatkan peluang dan potensinya agar lebih banyak dikonsumsi sebagai buah segar, maka buah ini terlebih dahulu dijadikan buah terolah minimal. Untuk itu, salah satu penanganan yang mungkin dapat dilakukan yaitu penyimpanan sirsak dalam bentuk irisan pada suhu dingin.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemasan dan suhu penyimpanan terhadap masa simpan sirsak segar terolah minimal.Perlakuan kemasan pada penelitian menggunakan kemasan Polyetylen, Polypropylen, Stretch Film dan tanpa dikemas. Perlakuan suhu terdiri dari suhu 120C, 140C dan suhu ruang 270C. Analisis fisik sirsak segar terolah minimal meliputi rendemen, susut bobot, kekerasan, dan uji organoleptik dan analisis kimia berupa kandungan vitamin C dan serat kasar yang masing-masing diamati setiap 2 hari sekali sampai konsumen menolak.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh sirsak terolah minimal semua perlakuan variasi suhu dan kemasan mengalami penurunan selama penyimpanan terhadap susut bobot, kekerasan, vitamin C dan uji organoleptik, sedangkan serat kasar mengalami peningkatan selama penyimpanan. Hasil analisis keseragaman dapat diketahui bahwa variasi kemasan, suhu penyimpanan dan lamanya penyimpanan serta semua interaksinya berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap susut bobot, kekerasan, vitamin C, serat kasar dan uji organoleptik. Sedangkan hasil uji Duncan 5% menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh suhu dan kemasan berbeda nyata terhadap terhadap susut bobot, kekerasan, vitamin C, serat kasar dan uji organoleptik. Perlakuan terbaik untuk penyimpanan buah sirsak terolah minimal selama 10 hari penyimpanan terdapat pada perlakuan kemasan polypropylen pada suhu 140C dengan nilai susut bobot 1,28%, kekerasan 0,52kg/cm2, kadar vitamin C sebesar 5,28mg/100gr, dan kadar serat kasar sebesar 4,83%. Dari hasil uji organoleptik pada semua perlakuan pada umumnya panelis menyukai sirsak pada perlakuan menggunakan kemasan polypropylen pada suhu 140C. Research was carried out to study the effect of antimicrobial activity of yeast found in dadih. Yeasts chosen were isolated from dadih (traditionally buffalo milk fermentation). The objective is to know the ability of yeast to inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria in milk. They were Candida curiosa, Brettanomyces custersii, and Kluyveromices lactis. Kluy. lactis has strong antimicrobial on Bacillus subtilis with zone of inhibition ± 5mm, C. curiosa on E.coli (5mm) and C. curiosa and Brett. custersii also have strong antimicrobial on S. aureus consecutively 5,75 and 7 mm. As a conclusion the result showed that all of three yeasts selected have capability to stop the growth of pathogenic bacteria of buffalo milk origin in five days. Ruang lingkup dan batasan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian ini tidak melakukan uji kelayakan struktural dan geoteknikal pada bangunan yang menjadi objek penelitian, data primer yang digunakan didapat dari identifikasi kerusakan dengan melakukan survei dan pengukuran langsung dilapangan serta data sekunder yang berupa data harga material harga upah dan peralatan berdasarkan keputusan Bupati Aceh Tengah tahun 2013. Pengolahan data untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian ini Antara lain menggunakan analisa Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) 2002 dan 2008 untuk mendapatkan harga satuan pekerjaan, sedangkan untuk menentukan klasifikasi kerusakan pada bangunan mengacu pada Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum Nomor 24/PRT/M/2008. The second group come from farmer group “lumba-lumba” innovated with oestrous synchronization which was injected prosolvin of 7.5 mg per headl by intramuscular (i.m.) and super ovulated with injected fertagyl of 150 mg per tail by i.m., and then it oestrous was inseminated with frozen semen result of sex separation. Research result indicates that technically there were difference of performance reproduce in cow which is innovated by reproduction technology than control. It concluded that the improvement of reproduction efficiency in cow after innovated by technology of reproduction in term of type of birth in twin and increasing of male sex up to 12 percent. The objective of this experiment is to study the quality of sterilization of etawa’s goat milk at different temperature (110oC and 120oC) and different time (3 second and 6 second). The quality of sterilization of etawa’s goat milk was evaluated by measuring crude protein, crude fat, pH value and amount of microorganism. The study used a factorial completely randomizes design. The result showed that the different temperature and time of sterilized goat milk have not significant (P>0,05) on crude protein, crude fat, pH value and amount of microorganism. The result also showed that no interaction between temperature and time. The conclusion of the research indicated that all the experiment have the same quality.
