Pengobatan infeksi Candida albicans dengan antijamur golongan azol telah menunjukkan adanya resistensi sehingga penggunaan obat tradisional makin meluas di kalangan masyarakat. Salah satu pengobatan tradisional yang digunakan oleh masyarakat adalah Jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantifolia (Christm.) Swingle) yang diketahui memiliki efek antimikroba. Minyak atsiri merupakan kelompok besar minyak nabati yang mudah menguap dan memberikan aroma yang khas yang dapat digunakan sebagai obat dalam berbagai bentuk sediaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas antijamur minyak atsiri kulit buah Jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantifolia (Christm.) Swingle) terhadap isolat klinis Candida albicans secara in vitro. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 kali pengulangan yang terdiri dari 5 kelompok perlakuan dengan konsentrasi 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% dan 50% dan 1 kelompok kontrol negatif (akuades dan Tween 80). Uji aktivitas antijamur dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode difusi cakram Kirby-Bauer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan minyak atsiri dengan konsentrasi 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% dan 50% memiliki aktivitas antijamur terhadap isolat klinis Candida albicans dengan diameter rata-rata zona hambat 9 mm, 10,62 mm, 11,75 mm, 11,62 mm dan 13,50 mm. Hasil analisis data dengan ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan (?=0,05) menunjukkan bahwa berbagai konsentrasi minyak atsiri kulit buah Jeruk nipis memiliki pengaruh yang nyata dalam menghambat pertumbuhan isolat klinis Candida albicans secara in vitro. The resistance of azole as drug of choice for Candida albicans has been demonstrated, therefore nowadays the use of traditional medicine is encouragingly developed. One of emperically proved traditional medicine is Lime (Citrus aurantifolia (Christm.) Swingle) that has been known for its antimicrobial effects. Essential oil are a large group of volatile vegetable oils and provide a distinctive scent that can be used as a drug in many dosage form. The purpose of this study was to determine the antifungal activity of the essential oil of Lime peel (Citrus aurantifolia (Christm.) Swingle ) against clinical isolates of Candida albicans. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 repetitions that consisted of 5 treatment groups with a concentration of 10 % , 20 % , 30 % , 40 % and 50 % and negative control group (distilled water and Tween 80). Antifungal activity test conducted using Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion method. The result showed the essential oil with a concentration of 10 % , 20 % , 30 % , 40 % and 50 % have antifungal activity against clinical isolates of Candida albicans with an average diameter of inhibition zone 9 mm, 10,62 mm , 11,75 mm , 11,62 mm and 13.50 mm respectively. The results of this study were analyzed by ANOVA followed by Duncan test (?=0,05)showed that different concentrations of essential oil of lemon rind has a significant effect against clinical isolates of Candida albicans in vitro. This study aimed to determine the effect of coconut water diluent, physiological NaCl and combination of coconut water-physiological NaCl to the survival of chicken spermatozoa at room temperature (25-29°C). Semen was collected from a local chicken of 1.5 years old with weight of 2 kg in massage twice a week. Once evaluated, a good quality semen was divided into 3 treatment groups: coconut water (P1), physiological saline (P2), and its combination (P3) with the addition of 20% egg yolk [(P1) 80:0:20 (P2) 0:80:20 and (P3) 40:40:20] and stored at room temperature. Evaluation of spermatozoa motility conducted every 1 hour until reaching 40% of spermatozoa motility. Data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) with design patterns Split-plot and if there are differences between treatments tested by Duncan's multiple test. The results showed that motility of spermatozoa is significantly different (p <0.05) between storage time and diluent and there are interactions between storage time and diluent. P2 is able to maintain the minimum percentage of inseminated sperm motility (40%) for 4 hours, followed by P3 for 1 hour, and the lowest percentage motility of spermatozoa present in P1 for 0 hours. It can be concluded that the percentage of spermatozoa motility in group P2 is higher than P1 and P3. The purpose of this experiment was to find out the effects of the coffee peeling on in vitro digestibility of Aceh beef cattle. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was applied in this experiment consisting of 4 treatments  namely levels of  coffee peeling on basal diet   (R0=0%, R1=10%, R2=20%, R3=30%). Each treatment consists of 5 replications. Parameters observed in this research were dry and organic matter digestibility. The results showed that dry matter digestibility was not significantly different (P>0,05)amongst treatments  54,42%, 49,32%, 45,97%, 42,08%) for R0, R1, R2 and R3 respectively.  On the other hand, organic metter digestibility was significantly different (P<0,05) in which R2 treatment was the highest and R0 treatment was the lowest (54,59%). Persentase perempuan yang rendah di lembaga legislatif, khususnya legislatif di Aceh menunjukkan bahwa perempuan masih belum berpartisipasi aktif. faktor penyebab minimnya persentase perempuan adalah motivasi yang rendah. Motivasi merupakan pendorong tingkah laku individu sesuai arah tujuan. Ada tiga jenis need yang mempengaruhi tingkah laku individu yaitu need for power, need for affiliation dan need for achievement. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan motivasi calon legislatif perempuan ditinjau dari partai nasional dan partai lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 69 calon legislatif, yang terdiri dari 35 caleg partai lokal dan 34 caleg partai nasional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala motivasi yang terdiri dari 24 pernyataan. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji statistik independent samples t-test menunjukkan nilai P =0,023 (0,023 < 0,05). The whole blood samples were collected (8 samples for D-loop analysis) from four locations which were Aceh Besar, Pidie, North Aceh regencies and Banda Aceh city. Out group whole blood samples were collected from two samples from Bali cattles (Bali Island), Madura cattle (Madura Island), Pesisir cattle (West Sumatera) respectively and one sample from PO cattle (West Java). Amplification of D-loop sequences of mtDNA with BIDLF and BIDLR primary have PCR product 980 bp. The Data were analyzed using Squint 1.02 and MEGA 4.0 programme.
