Granulometric study is considered as a tool to predict sediment formation process in an aquatic environment. This paper discusses brief assessment of granulometri studies on seagrass and coral reef areas in Indonesia by collecting samples at Pari Island waters. Sediment samples were taken in May 2008 near the coral reefs and seagrass area in the cluster of Pari Island waters, Seribu Islands, Jakarta. The wet sieving method was done to separate the sediment samples based on grain size. The study on the phytoplankton community in estuary area of Aceh River was done from August to October 2006. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the structure of the phytoplankton community in Aceh River post tsunami. Explorative survey was done at three sampling sites along the river. Sampling sites were determinated based on salinity zoning; >30 ppt, 18-30 ppt and 5-18 ppt. The results show that higher diversity of the phytoplankton was found at sampling site 1, while the lower diversity was recorded at sampling site 3. There were no dominancy of species at all of sampling locatios. Pemulihan tidak berlangsung dengan cepat atau mudah apabila pasien tidak mengetahui hal-hal yang baik untuk mempercepat penyembuhannya. Tujuan penelitian adalah gambaran pemberian informasi kesehatan tentang manajemen sirosis hepatis pada pasien di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Banda Aceh Tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif eksploratif. Desain penelitian cross sectional study melalui pendekatan point time approach dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 30 pasien sirosis hepatis. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu consecutive sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah kota Banda Aceh berdasarkan kuesioner yang terdiri dari 36 item pernyataan dalam skala guttman. Metode analisis data adalah univariat. Hasil penelitian secara umum (56,7%) pasien menerima informasi manajemen penyakit sirosis hepatis pada katagori baik, variabel manajemen diet tinggi kalori tinggi protein pada katagori imbang (50,0%), variabel manajemen pengurangan asupan cairan pada katagori kurang (53,3%), variabel manajemen pengontrolan pendarahan saluran cerna pada katagori kurang (56,7%), variabel manajemen penggunaan suplemen vitamin pada katagori kurang (60,0%), variabel manajemen perawatan kulit pada katagori kurang (56,7%), variabel manajemen pengurangan risiko cedera pada katagori baik (76,7%) dan variabel manajemen pertahanan tirah baring pada katagori baik (76,7%). The aim of the research is to known the description of giving information about health information management of patients liver cirrhosis in general hospital banda aceh city 2013. The research desain is explorative descriptive by using cross sectional study. Samples collection techniques by using consecutive sampling. The population in this research were 30 patients. Data collection technique conducted through guided interview in general hospital of Banda Aceh city by distributing questionnaires with 36 statements in Gutmann scale. Data analysis method used univariate analysis. The result of the research is The results (56.7%) patients received liver cirrhosis disease management information on good categories, variable management of high-calorie high-protein diet in draw category (50.0%), management variable reduction of fluid intake in the category of less (53.3%), management variables controlling gastrointestinal bleeding in the category of less (56.7%), variable use of vitamin supplements in the management category of less (60.0%), management variables in the category of skin care less (56.7%), variable reduction in the risk of injury management in both categories (76.7%), and defense management variables on bed rest in good categories (76.7%). Herbivory reef fish is the most important of fish tropic group in the coral reef ecosystem.Hence, the objective of this study was to provide reliable data and information on herbivory reef fish based on management types in the northern Acehnese reef. Underwater Visual Census Techniques was used to collect the data at 20 sites around Weh Island and Aceh Besar. This study found 32 herbivory reef fishes species from five families in northern Acehnese reef. Densities of herbivory reef fish were varied from 27 to 104 ind./transect,while species numbers were also varied from 6 to 14 species/site. Family Acanthuriidae was the highest in species number, i.e. 19 species. Densities of herbivory reef fish in sites that were protected under the management authority of Sabang Weh Island were not significantly higher compare with sites from open access areas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode acak sederhana yaitu dengan mengambil sampel secara acak yang mewakili semua ukuran cumi hasil tangkapan nelayan yang didaratkan di PPI Lampulo, Banda Aceh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis makanan yang dijumpai pada lambung Loligo edulis adalah ikan (75,1%), udang (20,5%) dan cumi (4,4%); pada lambung Sepia offisinalis diperoleh jenis makanan; ikan (89,9%), udang (10%) dan kepiting (0,29%;) dan pada Sepioteuthis lessoniana ikan (99,9%) dan cacing (0,1%). Sehingga dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketiga species yang diteliti bersifat karnivora dengan ikan-ikan kecil dan udang sebagai makanan utama. Sepioteuthis lessoniana dan Sepia officinalis which were caught in the northern sea of Bunta Island Aceh Besar. The sampling was done by simple random method by taking samples randomly representing all sizes of squid. The study was conducted from April to May 2013. The results showed that three type of foods were recorded on the Loligo sp. i.e. fish (75.1%), shrimp (20.5%) and squid (4.4%); in the S. officinalis stomach was fish (89.9%), shrimp (10%) and crab (0.29); while in the S. lessoniana stomach was fish (99.9%) and worm (0.1%). Badung Strait generally have nutrient distribution patterns influenced by Sea-atmosphere interactions. The waters of the Lombok Strait is also branching traversed by Indonesian Throughflow (ARLINDO), which will be followed by Indonesian Throughflow variability of sea surface temperature changes. The distribution of nutrients is closely related to light intensity to produce primary productivity. The purpose of this research was conducted to determine the distribution of nutrient concentration and light intensity and chlorophyll-a in Badung Strait during Southeast Monsoon (June 2014). The variables investigated are the concentration of nitrate, phosphate, ammonia, light intensity and chlorophyll-a. The results showed the average value of the concentration of nitrate, phosphate and ammonia at 0.01106 mg/L, 0.01 mg/L and 0.13475 mg/L. The average value of the light intensity at 272.8775 W/m2 and the average value of chlorophyll-a concentration of 0.40925 mg/L. The visualitation images show that there is homogeneus pattern for the phosphate concertration and konvergen patterns for the other paramaters. It is cause of physical parameters influence when obtain the waters sample. Based on the result, it can be conclude that the waters productivity of Badung Strait, Bali is in good condition. Perairan Selat Badung secara umum merupakan perairan yang memiliki pola sebaran nutrien yang dipengaruhi oleh interaksi Laut-Atmosfer. Perairan tersebut juga merupakan percabangan Selat Lombok yang dilalui oleh ARLINDO (Arus Lintas Indonesia), dimana variabilitas ARLINDO akan diikuti oleh perubahan suhu permukaan laut. Sebaran nutrien tersebut berkaitan erat dengan intensitas cahaya untuk menghasilkan produktivitas primer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sebaran konsentrasi nutrien, intensitas cahaya dan klorofil-a di perairan Selat Badung pada Monsun Timur (Juni 2014). Variabel yang diamati berupa konsentrasi nitrat, fosfat, ammonia, intensitas cahaya dan klorofil-a. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata konsentrasi nitrat, fosfat dan ammonia sebesar 0,01106 mg/L, 0,01 mg/L dan 0,13475 mg/L. Nilai rata-rata intensitas cahaya sebesar 272,8775 W/m2 dan nilai rata-rata konsentrasi klorofil-a sebesar 0,40925 mg/L. Hasil visualisasi menunjukkan adanya pola yang homogen untuk konsentrasi fosfat dan pola konvergen untuk parameter lainnya. Hal ini diduga karena adanya pengaruh parameter fisika pada saat pengambilan sampel air. Namun secara umum, berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat dikatakan bahwa tingkat kesuburan perairan Selat Badung, Bali dalam kondisi yang baik.
