Data yang diperoleh dari lapangan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Dengan uji statistik menggunakan Analisis Koefisien rank Spearman (rs) dengan bantuan program SPSS. Kadar LDL Kolesterol yang tinggi dapat menyebabkan aterosklerosis sehingga terjadi iskemik pada kaki penderita DM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar LDL kolesterol terhadap kejadian kaki diabetik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan accidental sampling padaperiode 14 November 2013- 14 Januari 2014 dengan jumlah sampel 42 orang. Analisis data menggunakan uji one way anova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 71,40% (30 orang) mempunyai kadar LDL kolesterol yang tinggi, 38,10% (16 orang) menderita kaki diabetik derajat 3, kadar rata-rata LDL kolesterol tertinggi terdapat pada derajat 0 yaitu 154,36 mg/dL, rata-rata kadar LDL kolesterol pada perempuan 135,23 mg/dL dan pada laki-laki 121,85 mg/dL. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara kadar LDL kolesterol terhadap kejadian kaki diabetik, dengan nilai p 0,40 (p>0,05). Kesimpulan: tidak terdapat hubungan LDL kolesterol terhadap kejadian kaki diabetik.Kata kunci: Kaki diabetik, LDL kolesterol, diabetes melitusABSTRACKDiabetic foot is an infection, ulceration or destructionof the deep fibrous tissue associated with neuropathy and peripheral vascular disease on lower limb which is occur in diabetic patient. High level of LDL cholesterol can cause atherosclerosis and it cause ischemic foot of diabetic patient. The aim of this study is to find out the correlation between LDL cholesterol with incidence of diabetic foot. The type of this study is analytic observational with cross-sectional design. Method of the sampling was accidental sampling during the period of 14 November 2013 to 14 January 2014 with 42 respondents. The data was analyzed by One Way Anova. The result of this study showed that 71,40% (n=30) had high level of LDL cholesterol, majority of the patients 38,10% (n=16) were presented with Wagner grade 3, the average levels of LDL cholesterol highest at Wagner grade 0 was 154,36 mg/dL, the average levels of LDL cholesterol in women was 135,23 mg/dL and male 121,85 mg/dL. One Way Anova test showed that there was no correlation between LDL cholesterol with incidence of diabetic foot, with p value 0,40 (p>0.05). The conclusion of this study was no correlation between LDL cholesterol with incidence of diabetic foot. Fermented milk is milk processed product that to be one source of nutritious food for humans. The action of food component such as flavor is accepted, sense of taste and smell generated complex assessment of food flavors in the mouth. The flavor components of fermented milk together and interact with each other when consumed and cause the perception of taste between like or dislike. This is an important factor in developing diversification of fermented milk product so as to attract customers other than in terms of aspects of nutrition and health. Flavor is one of the most important criteria in the acceptance of a food ingredient. During processing and storage flavor change easily. This study used gas chromatography to detect the formation of the active component of the flavor of fermented milk. The purpose of this study was to determine the active components in fermented milk which is the formation of flavor. This research was conducted in the Laboratory of Animal Feed Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Chemistry Unsyiah and PAU Food and Nutrition IPB Bogor. This study uses a Likens - Nickerson distillation stage concentrated with Vigreux column and identified by Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometer. Gas chromatography has identified that the class of acids, alcohols, esters and alkanes group forming an active component in the flavor of fermented milk although relatively varied. In yoghurt, acid found in relatively high amount of alcohol is more varied in its kind. Yogurt with single culture L.bulgaricus has more ketones and aldehydes components. Volatile components were detected mostly in kefir acids, alcohols, esters and alkane derivatives. The curd is dominated by acidic components in addition to alcohol and aldehyde. Salah satu cara untuk mengurangi gejala depresi pada lansia adalah dengan meningkatkan kesehatan psikososial melalui dukungan sosial terutama dari dukungan keluarga. Dukungan keluarga memengaruhi kemampuan lansia untuk mencegah terjadinya stres dan depresi dalam kehidupannya, dan meningkatkan kemampuan fungsional.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan sindrom depresi pada lansia. Jenis penelitian ini adalahpenelitian analitik dengan deain cross sectional study terhadap55 lansia di Rumoh Seujahtera Geunaseh Sayang Ulee Kareng. Sampel dipilihmenggunakan teknik total sampling. Variabel yang diukur adalah dukungan keluarga dansindrom depresi pada lansia. Uji statistik menggunakan uji chi squaredengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil analisis bivariat adalah p=0,018yang menunjukkan adanyahubungan bermakna antara dukungan keluarga dengan sindrom depresi pada lansia. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara dukungan keluarga dengan sindrom depresi yang dialami oleh lansia. This study aims to determine the effect of a complete ration of silage made from water hyacinth on feed efficiency and digestibility. This study uses fifteen rams (12 months old with an average body weight of 19 ± 3.98 kg). The experimental was designed completely random. The sheeps were randomly divided into 3 treatments, and 4 replications. The sheeps wereted concentrate and fresh elephant grass (T0), silage-based rations complete without the addition of starter hyacinth L. plantarum (T1), and a complete ration silage made from water hyacinth by the addition of L. plantarum starter (T2). Feed structured treatment isoenergi and isoprotein (PK 13% and 65% TDN). Feed treatment was given for 12 weeks with a 2-week adaptation period. The results showed that feed intake, ADG, feed conversion, and feed efficiency were not significantly different (P> 0.05), but it can improve feed digestibility (P <0.05) between treatments. Feed intake data, digestibility, ADG, feed conversion and feed efficiency at T0, T1 and T2 as follows: 678.27, 811.43, 701.21 g / day; 70.51, 71.74, 69.82%; 94.09, 106.34, 97.28 g / day; 7.22, 7.66, and 7.18; 14.09, 13.23 and 14.02% use a complete ration silage with L. plantarum starter better than the control treatment in the form of concentrates with elephant grass but not better than silage without a starter. Kegagalan ini dapat disebabkan oleh banyak faktor seperti rendahnya tingkap kepatuhan minum obat dan/atau karena adanya penyakit penyerta seperti HIV/AIDS dan DM. Saat ini, DM merupakan salah satu komorbid yang sering sekali ditemukan menyertai pasien MDR-TB. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran peningkatan risiko dan Risiko Relatif (RR) MDR-TB pada pasien TB dengan DM di RSUDZA Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi cohort retrospective dengan desain deskriptif analitik. Pengambilan data akan dilakukan menggunakan data sekunder dari rekam medik Poliklinik Paru RSUDZA mulai periode Januari 2012-Oktober 2013. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 80 orang yang dibagi dalam 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok tersangka MDR-TB dan kelompok bukan tersangka MDR-TB sebagai kontrol. Karakteristik sampel digambarkan secara deskriptif dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan uji statistik Chi-Square (CI = 95%) dan ditentukan juga Risiko Relatif (RR) dari variabel terkait. Dari total 80 pasien, sebanyak 51,3% disertai komorbid DM dan uji Chi-Square dengan CI = 95% menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen (DM) tidak berpengaruh terhadap risiko MDR-TB (p>0,05). Risiko Relatif (RR) yang didapatkan sebesar 1,2 kali. Diabetes melitus tidak berhubungan dengan peningkatan risiko tersangka MDR-TB. Penggunaan kontrasepsi DMPA dapat menimbulkan berbagai efek samping, salah satunya adalah peningkatan berat badan yang nyata. Peningkatan berat badan dapat bertambah seiring lamanya penggunaan, sehingga sangat berisiko terhadap terjadinya obesitas. Lamanya penggunaan kontrasepsi DMPA dapat mempengaruhi kejadian obesitas pada akseptor kontrasepsi DMPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan lama penggunaan kontrasepsi DMPA dengan obesitas. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analitik cross sectional yang dilakukan dari bulan Desember 2013-Februari 2014 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kuta Alam Banda Aceh terhadap 78 responden. Untuk mengukur lamanya penggunaan kontrasepsi DMPA digunakan kuesioner dan untuk mengukur obesitas dilakukan pengukuran BMI. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan CI 95% dan ? = 0,05. Sebanyak 20,5% akseptor kontrasepsi DMPA dengan lama penggunaan DMPA 3-18 bulan mengalami obesitas, sedangkan akseptor yang menggunakan kontrasepsi DMPA >18 bulan sebanyak 59% mengalami obesitas dengan p value 0,001 seehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara lama penggunaan kontrasepsi DMPA dengan obesitas.Kata Kunci: DMPA, Lama Penggunaan Kontrasepsi DMPA, Obesitas.
