Peningkatan kadar gula darah (Hiperglikemia) diketahui meningkat ketika terjadinya stress seperti pada infark miokard, hal ini dikarenakan diproduksinya hormon stress (epinefrin, norepinefrin dan kortisol). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara peningkatan kadar gula darah dengan waktu terjadinya sindrom koroner akut. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Cross-Sectional dengan mengambil data sekunder berupa status medik dan hasil laboratorium, dari data tersebut akan diidentifikasi, rekapitulasi dan dilakukan pengujian secara statistik dengan Chi-square (X2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapatnya hubungan yang signifikan antara peningkatan kadar gula darah dengan waktu terjadinya sindrom koroner akut, pada pasien sindroma koroner akut yang tidak mengalami peningkatan kadar gula darah sebanyak 28 orang (90,3%), dimana 61,3% terjadi pada onset cepat dan 29% terjadi pada onset cepat. Kecemasan merupakan respon yang umumnya muncul pada orangtua yang memiliki anak dengan PJB. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kecemasan orangtua terhadap penyakit jantung bawaan pada anak. Penelitian ini bersifat analitik dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Data diperoleh dari 40 responden orangtua yang memiliki anak dengan PJB yang dilakukan pada Oktober-Desember 2013 di Poliklinik Jantung RSUDZA. Variabel penelitian ini adalah tingkat pendidikan, pengetahuan, usia, dan status ekonomi dan tingkat kecemasan orangtua terhadap PJB pada anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 24(60%) orangtua memiliki tingkat pendidikan dasar, 23(57,5%) orangtua memiliki pengetahuan kurang, 35(87,5%) orangtua dengan usia dewasa dini, dan 20(50%) orangtua dengan status ekonomi rendah. Berdasarkan uji Chi-square ,terlihat bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan tingkat kecemasan orangtua (Pvalue (0,020) < 0,05, PR (1,8), CI (0,95-3,26)). Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dan tingkat kecemasan orangtua (Pvalue (0,530) > 0,05, PR (1,1), CI (0,75-1,75)). Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara usia dan tingkat kecemasan orangtua (Pvalue (0,477) > 0,05, PR (1,2), CI (0,56-2,51)). Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status ekonomi dan tingkat kecemasan orangtua (Pvalue (0,038) < 0,05, PR (1,6), CI (0,99-2,39)). The utilization of fermented fibrous waste material had improved the product of rumen metabolism in vitro, nevertheless, it was not always the same result if treated on animal, in vivo. An experiment had been conducted to investigate the result of the in vitro trial to the growing male cattle of Ongole Grade.  The experiment had been conducted by experimental method using twelve (12) growing male cattle of Ongole Grade.  The trial was conducted in Completely Randomized Block Design, during seven months period, three months adaption, two weeks preliminary, three months feeding trial and two weeks digestion trial.  The treatment tested were: R0 = control ration, non fermented; R1 = mesh type fermented and R2 = pellet type fermented. The variables measured were: the production of Total Volatile Fatty Acid (T-VFA); asetate (C2), propionate (C3), butyrate (C4).  The result shown that the treatment, biological and physical, of complete feed, does not influence on the production of T-VFA as well as on the composition (C2, C3 and  C4).  Nevertheless based on all the variables measured, the biological treatment with fermentation tends to increase the production of rumen metabolism, and the highest result of the products of T-VFA = 112,43 + 17,2 mM/L, C2 = 40,46 + 8,98 mM/L, C3 = 34,57 + 7,35 mM/L, C4 = 31,17 + 7,35 mM/L,  were resulted from pellet type of complete feed.  The result of experiment concludes : (1) based on the production of VFA as well as its composition, and the balance of C2 / C3, the utilization of complete feed both mesh and pellet type increases the efficiency of energy utilization on the growing male of Ongole Grade Cattle;  (2) based on rumen metabolism product, the recommended complete feed for growing male cattle of Ongole grade is in the form of fermented pellet. The main immunoglobulin fraction of poultry is called IgY, in order to distinguish it from the mammalian IgG. This article focus on purification yolk immunoglobulin of hens vaccinated against excretory/secretory Ascaridia galli larvae to obtained purity IgY. Active vaccinations with excretory/secretory antigen were applied intra muscularly of chickens with an initial dose of 80 μg. The vaccinations were repeated three times with dose of each 60 μg with an interval of one week. The first vaccinations were excretory/secretory antigen mixed with Fruend Adjuvant Complete and subsequently mixed with Freund Adjuvant Incomplete. Antibody response in yolk was detected at weekly intervals by agar gel precipitation test (AGPT). The chicken’s eggs were collected from 49 day after vaccinations. IgY was extracted from egg yolks by means of ammonium sulphate and purified using fast performance liquid chromatography (FPLC). The purity of anti-ekscretory/secretory IgY protein was determined by Bradford method (λ = 280 nm). The result showed that antibody in yolk was begun detect with AGPT at four weeks after vaccination. IgY concentration after purification was 0,875 ± 0.251 mg/ml. This study has shown that the product released in vitro by L3 stage A. galli is capable of stimulating humoral immunity by mean of producing antibody through yolk as biologic manufacturer could be a good choice.
