An experiment was carried out from April 1st up to August 18 th 2013. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of source and level fermentable carbohydrate as an additive on the characteristic of ensilage and the contents of crude protein and crude fibre of king grass silage. The methods of this study was experimental, by using Completely Randomized Design. There were 9 treatments, each of which consisted of three replications. The treatments were : A = 1 % of mollases; B = 2 % of mollases; C = 3 % mollases; D = 5 % of rice bran E = 10 % of rice bran; F = 15 % of rice bran; G = 5 % of of cassava cake; H = 10 % of of cassava cake; I = 15 % of cassava cake. Note: all percentages were on the basis of king grass fresh weight. The observed variable were physical characteristics (color, aroma, texture, fungi), pH, temperature, and nutrient contents (crude protein and crude fibre). The result of this study showed that the color change of the silage was as follow: at the 14th and 28th day. The treatment had highly significant effect (P < 0.01) on the color, texture, and fungi of the silage and the content of crude protein, and had no significant effect (P>0,05) on the aroma (smell), temperature, pH and crude fibre. The contrast orthogonal test to the color, aroma, infestation of fungy, crude protein, the treatment of ABC was different relative to those of DEFGHI treatments. This study could be conclude that by wilting of king grass (water content of 60 %), the 1–3 of 3 % of mollases snd 5-15 % usage of rice bran an additive the results are better compared to the usage with additive of cassava cake, viewed from silage’s physical quality as well as its nutrient contents. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of loyalty, ability and participation either partially or simultaneously to the lecturer of Serambi Mekkah University in Banda Aceh, as well as to determine the most dominant factor affecting the performance of the lecturer in the University of Serambi Mekkah in Banda Aceh.The population in this study were all full-time lecturers in 216 lecturers atthe University of Serambi Mekkah in Banda Aceh and the number of samplesused are as many as 118 respondents out of a totality population obtained by theSlovin Formula.Multiple correlation coefficient (R) is 0,864 means that the level ofrelationship between the dependent and independent variables is 86,4% meaningthat loyalty, ability and participation in improving the performance of closelyassociated lecturer at the University of Serambi Mekkah in Banda Aceh, and thecoefficient of multiple determination (R2) is 0,767 means that 76,6% of thechanges in faculty performance variables can be explained by the variable loyalty,ability and participation.F-test significance level of 0,000 and Fvalue (3,2380)> F (2,3053), meanvariable loyalty, ability and participation together to increase significantlyinfluence the performance of the lecturer. Based on these results, the Ho isrejected and HA is accepted. Thus the hypothesis that the variable loyalty, and theability to simultaneously work participation affect the performance of the facultyat the University of Serambi Mekkah in Banda Aceh. The aim of this research was to determine the ratio of birth sex of ettawa crossbreed goat by artificial insemination using spermatozoa swim up. This research was at Reproduction Laboratory Faculty of Veterinary medicine Syiah Kuala university and Livestock Group SMD, Bener Meriah Regency. Fifteen female goats with age 8-24 months where used in this study and divided into 3 treatment groups (P0, P1, P2) and 5 replications of each. The first group (P0) inseminated with sperm without swim up; P1 and P2 inseminated with sperm which swim up for 5 minutes (P1) and 10 minutes (P2). The result of conception rates observation and sex ratio of children born tabulated into tables. The data was analyzed by using analysis of variance (ANOVA) one way pattern followed by the multiple test Duncan. The results showed that the conception rate and birth sex ratio of male born had significantly different (P<0,05). The segregation of sperm which swim up increased the conception rate and birth sex ratio of male born. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam merencanakan program pembelajaran guru menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan yang bervariasi sesuai dengan masalah yang dihadapi para guru. Secara dominan kepala sekolah menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis sehingga guru-guru merasa sangat senang dalam melaksanakan tugasnya. Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan program pembelajaran guru pada MTsN Sigli adalah dengan menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis. Oil palm frond (OPF) is one of potential sources of alternative feed, but has limited use due to high crude fiber and low crude protein contents. Fermentation is one of the methods widely applied to improve nutritive value of animal feed. The purpose of this research is to increase nutritive value of fermented oil palm fronds by adding different soluble carbohydrate source into fermentation media. The results of the experiments indicated that fermented oil palm fronds by Aspergillus niger had a significant effect (P<0,05)  on the content of crude protein, crude fiber, and ash. Generally, fermented oil palm fronds with different soluble carbohydrate was able to increase the content of crude protein of oil palm fronds, but not optimal yet in reducing the crude fiber content of fermented substrate.
