PPOK terdiri dari bronkitis kronik dan emfisema atau gabungan dari keduanya. Merokok merupakan faktor resiko utama terjadinya PPOK. Pada PPOK dapat terjadi peningkatan kadar leukosit yang diakibatkan proses inflamasi terus menerus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara merokok dan lama mengidap PPOK terhadap kadar leukosit pada pasien di RSUDZA Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional yang dilaksanakan pada bulan September hingga November 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan Indeks Brinkman untuk mengetahui beratnya merokok dan hasil laboratorium pemeriksaan darah untuk mengetahui kadar leukosit. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 42 orang dimana sebanyak 57,1% pasien berusia 60-79 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh persentase peningkatan kadar leukosit sebesar 28,6%. Hasil analisis dengan uji Spearman menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara merokok (r = 0,555 dan p value = 0,000) dan lama mengidap PPOK (r = -0,656 dan p value = 0,000) terhadap kadar leukosit pada pasien PPOK di RSUDZA Banda Aceh. Hasil analisis dengan uji komparatif Kruskal-Wallis ditemukan kadar leukosit yang berbeda pada pasien yang memiliki riwayat merokok berat, sedang dan ringan (p value = 0,001). Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa Dividend Payout Ratio berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap volatilitas harga saham. In this study, the sample was made with 5 variations of Polystyrene:Starch:glycerol as follows:(95:0:5; 90:5:5; 85:10:5; 80:15:5 and 75:20:5) %. The samples were made using the hotpress machine and the ASTM D368 standard. The mechanical properties (tensile strength) were tested using a tensile tester. The testing for functional groups were using FT-IR. The surface morphology was obtained by AFM and biodegradation through burial the samples for 40 days (time of observation 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 weeks). As the results showed that the tensile strength values are influenced by variations in the composition of composite materials. The optimum tensile strength values were obtained on samples of PS-2 (90% of PS: 5% of Starch: 5% of glycerol) with a tensile strength value of 0.55 kgf / mm². Based on the analysis of functional groups, it was found that there is no chemical reaction, which is characterized by the emergence of new functional groups on the composite sample. The surface morphology observation showed that the variation does not affect the relative composition of the surface morphology of the samples. Biodegradation test results showed that the samples of PS-4 and PS-5 began degraded after burial for 4 weeks. The population of this study are consumer goods companies. This study observes 8 companies for the year ended December 31, 2007 until 2012 (pooled data) and uses census method. Di dunia prevalensi penyakit ginjal tahap akhir (PGTA) yang menjalani hemodialisis adalah 398.851 orang. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kualitas hidup pada pasien yang menjalani hemodialisis regular adalah dukungan keluarga. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien yang menjalani hemodialisis regular di instalasi dialisis BLUD Dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara accidental sampling sebanyak 70 responden yang dilakukan pada tanggal 16 September sampai 30 November 2013. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara wawancara melalui kuesioner dukungan keluarga dan SF-36 yang masing-masing terdiri dari 12 pertanyaan dan 36 pertanyaan. Data dianalis menggunakan metode bivariat yaitu uji chi square dengan confidence interval 95% dan ? 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien HD dengan p= 0,005.
