Each type have different cost risk allocation for contractor. The research was conducted to compare the cost risk of the three tipes of contract according to contractors experiences. The result from the cost risk comparison will expected to give alternative for contractor and owner in taking decision among lump sum, mixed and unit price contract.  The investigation was held by spreading questionnaires. There were two stages surveis to 35 contractors as respondents in Bireuen District. The first stage was held to find the risk events ranking and the second stage was to find the rating of the comparison to risk events. Then, the collected data was processed and analyzed by using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. According to first questionnaires result, it was obtained 6 risk events that assumed dominant which could effect the cost construction overrun; there were the market price increasing, design revision, scope of construction revision, the difference of construction site between in the location and contract, not timely payment and material specification change. By using AHP method,  the risk comparison according to type of contract which is related with cost aspect, it can concluded from global priority value; the lumpsum was 0.485 , then mixed contract 0.285 and unit price contract 0.230. So the lump sump contract had the higher risk  than unit price contract.Keywords : Cost risk, contract, lump sump, unit price, AHPAbstrak: Bentuk kontrak konstruksi yang dikenal di Indonesia terdiri dari kontrak lumpsum, unit price dan gabungan keduanya. Setiap jenis kontrak memiliki risiko yang berbeda bagi kontraktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan risiko biaya dari ketiga jenis kontrak menurut pengalaman kontraktor. Hasil dari perbandingan tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan bagi kontraktor dan owner dalam pengambilan keputusan antara kontrak lumpsum, gabungan  dan unit price. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuisioner yang dibagi dalam dua tahap terhadap 35 kontraktor di Kabupaten Bireuen sebagai responden. Tahap pertama untuk mendapatkan perangkingan peristiwa risiko dan tahap kedua untuk mendapatkan penilaian perbandingan terhadap peristiwa risiko. Data yang didapat kemudian diolah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Berdasarkan hasil kuisioner tahap pertama didapat 6 peristiwa risiko yang dianggap dominan yang menyebabkan pembengkakan biaya pelaksanaan proyek yaitu kenaikan harga pasar, perubahan desain, perubahan ruang lingkup pekerjaan, adanya perbedaan site lapangan dengan yang tercantum dalam kontrak, pembayaran yang tidak tepat waktu dan perubahan spesifikasi material. Dengan menggunakan metode AHP maka perbandingan risiko berdasarkan jenis kontrak yang berkaitan dengan aspek biaya diperoleh bahwa proyek dengan kontrak lumpsum akan lebih tinggi risikonya menderita kerugian dibanding kontrak unit price. Ini dapat dilihat dari nilai prioritas global yaitu  0,485 dibanding dengan kontrak gabungan 0,285 dan kontrak unit price 0,23. Carsington Dam in Derbyshire UK had been chosen as case study for this paper. The data obtain in the analysis was a part of postgraduate study project of the author. This dam failure is an example of an end-of-construction failure in an earth-fill slope brought from deficiency of design. In term of stability for pre-construction analysis, soil parameters of drained shear strength are used based on the original designer. In terms of porewater pressure, because there are no assumption values by the designer can be found as information in literature, range values of ru are used in the analysis. For safety factor calculation, SLOPE program version 18.2 was used follow with wedge analysis method for comparison purpose. Next, for post-failure analysis, the soil parameters combinations between peak, post-peak and residual were used to calculate the factor of safety. From the analysis of initial failure, the dam’s designer used peak strength parameters whereas for post-failure, residual strength parameters was used in boot and yellow clay, and peak strength in the boot. The safety factor at the time of failure was approximately 0.901.Keywords : earth-fill, slope, pre-construction, post-failure.Abstrak: Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang proses keruntuhan bendungan air dikarenakan oleh tingkat stabilitas lereng yang rendah. Bendungan Carsington di Derbyshire UK dipilih sebagai studi kasus untuk tulisan ini. Data yang digunakan untuk analisis adalah merupakan bagian dari studi magister dari penulis. Keruntuhan bendungan ini adalah contoh nyata dari keruntuhan pada saat akhir konstruksi dikarenakan ketidaktepatan dalam perencanaan. Berdasarkan analisis kestabilan dari tahap konstruksi, perencana menggunakan parameter kuat geser terdrainase. Parameter tekanan air pori digunakan nilai-nilai asumsi ru dikarenakan tidak diperolehnya data mengenai parameter tekanan air pori dalam literatur. Angka keamanan lereng dianalisis menggunakan program SLOPE versi 18.2 dan dibandingkan dengan cara konvensional yaitu dengan analisis bagian. Analisa pasca keruntuhan lereng menggunakan data tanah yang merupakan kombinasi dari nilai puncak, pasca-puncak dan residual untuk menghitung kestabilan lereng. Berdasarkan analisa awal, perencana bendungan menggunakan nilai maksimum dari parameter tanah, sedangkan dari hasil analisa pasca keruntuhan diperoleh parameter tanah yang dugunakan adalah nilai residual pada kaki dan material tanah lempung kuning dari lereng, dan juga parameter desain maksimum pada kaki bendungan. This value when compared to some countries in Asia were still much greater because of the efficiency of existing irrigation network was limited in that it needs to be revisited until the value of the efficiency of irrigation fields. This study aims to determine the efficiency of irrigation in rice fieldsis actually through direct measurements in the field. Measurements were taken at one tertiary JKr21Kr Krueng Jreue Regional Irrigation. To evaluate the efficiency of irrigation in rice fields used two methods of measurement. Inflow-outflow method for measuring the delivery of irrigation water in rice fields (Vf) which use the modified pipes that serves as the entrance and exit of water in the tertiary, the difference between incoming water and outgoing water is the amount of water used in rice fields. Drum technique method for measuring the water demand of rice in rice fields (Vm), the use of 3 (three) drum with a diameter of 50 cm and height 125 cm. Drum serves to measure the evapotranspiration parameters, percolation and effective rainfall. These results indicate the efficiency of irrigation in rice fields (Ea) of 59.57%. The study recommends irrigation efficiency based on the Standard Planning Irrigation needs to be calculated up to the fields, so that the obtained value of 38.72% irrigation efficiency and irrigation efficiency by planning to be at 40.68%. The value of irrigation efficiency can be improved by carrying out repairs and maintenance on the rice field to prevent seepage and an awareness of attitudes and behaviors of farmers in irrigation water use, so the addition of land area is made possibleKeywords : Evapotranspiration, percolation, water discharge, drum technique, inflow-outflow.Abstrak: Indonesia nilai efisiensi irigasi berdasarkan Standar Perencanaan Irigasi sebesar 65%. Nilai ini bila dibandingkan dengan beberapa negara di Asia ternyata masih jauh lebih besar karena nilai efisiensi irigasi yang ada hanya sebatas di jaringan sehingga perlu ditinjau kembali nilai efisiensi irigasi sampai ke petak sawah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai efisiensi irigasi pada petak sawah yang sebenarnya melalui pengukuran langsung di lapangan.. Pengukuran dilakukan pada salah satu petak tersier JKr21Kr  di Daerah Irigasi Krueng Jreue. Untuk mengevaluasi nilai efisiensi irigasi pada petak sawah digunakan dua metode pengukuran. Metode inflow-outflow untuk mengukur pemberian air irigasi pada petak sawah (Vf) dimana menggunakan pipa paralon yang berfungsi sebagai pintu masuk dan pintu keluar air pada petak tersier, selisih antara air yang masuk dan air keluar merupakan jumlah air yang digunakan pada petak sawah. Metode teknik drum padi untuk mengukur kebutuhan air di petak sawah (Vm), menggunakan 3 (tiga) buah drum dengan diameter 50 cm dan tinggi 125 cm. Drum ini berfungsi untuk mengukur parameter evapotranspirasi, perkolasi dan curah hujan efektif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan nilai efisiensi irigasi pada petak sawah (Ea) sebesar 59.57%. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan efisiensi irigasi berdasarkan Standar Perencanaan Irigasi perlu diperhitungkan sampai ke petak sawah, sehingga di peroleh nilai efisiensi irigasi sebesar 38.72% dan efisiensi irigasi berdasarkan perencanaan menjadi sebesar 40.68%. Nilai efisiensi irigasi ini dapat ditingkatkan dengan cara melakukan perbaikan dan pemeliharaan pada pematang sawah agar tidak terjadi rembesan serta adanya kesadaran  sikap dan perilaku petani dalam penggunaan air irigasi, sehingga penambahan luas lahan sangat dimungkinkan terjadi.Kata kunci : Evapotranspirasi, perkolasi, debit air, teknik drum, inflow-outflow.
