Lama menderita DM adalah salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap progresivitas retinopati diabetik sebab hiperglikemi yang lama akan mengakibatkan perubahan-perubahan seluler pada membran basalis retina, hilangnya sel perisit dan disfungsi endotel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lama menderita DM dengan derajat retinopati diabetik pada pasien DM tipe 2. Metode yang digunakan adalah analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 47 pasien DM tipe 2 yang dikumpulkan secara consecutive sampling di Poliklinik Endokrin BLUD RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh sejak bulan November 2012 sampai Januari 2013. Data dianalisa dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil uji Spearman menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara lama menderita DM dengan derajat retinopati diabetik, terlihat dari nilai p(0,001) < p(0,05). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui angka kejadian, jenis bakteri dansensitivitas antibiotik penyebab VAP di ICU RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin BandaAceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional dengan rancangan survei. Sampelpenelitian ini adalah pasien yang dirawat di ICU yang menerima prosedur invasifventilator > 48 jam. Pasien yang diduga mengalami VAP dilakukan isolasi,identifikasi serta uji sensitivitas bakteri yang berasal dari spesimen aspirasi trakeal.Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan 69 pasien yang menggunakan ventilator dalamperiode Juni-November 2012, 20 orang diantaranya didiagnosis VAP. InsidensiVAP di ICU didapatkan 84,03 per 1000 hari pemakaian ventilator. Pola kumanpenyebab VAP didapatkan yaitu Klebsiella pneumonia (35%), Pseudomonasaeruginosa (20%), Klebsiella sp. (15%), Pseudomonas sp. (15%), Acinetobactersp. (5%), Enterobacter sp. (5%) dan Staphylococcus aureus (VRSA) (5%). Terdapatsensitivitas bakteri Gram negatif penyebab VAP terhadap antibiotik pada umumnyadibawah 40% kecuali meropenem yaitu 68,3%.Sementara itu, 1 isolat bakteri Grampositif yang diperoleh merupakan S. aureus strain Vancomycin ResistantStaphylococcus aureus (VRSA). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa insidensi VAP diICU RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh sangat tinggi. Disamping itu bakteriyang diisolasi dari penderita VAP di ICU RSUDZA umumnya bakteri yangtergolong Multi Drug-Resistant Organism (MRDO). Penelitian ini mengangkat masalah apakah melalui penerapan Placemat Technique siswa dapat mencapai ketuntasan belajar pada materi trigonometri di kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh?. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui ketuntasan belajar siswa melalui penerapan Placemat Technique pada materi trigonometri di kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh yang terdiri dari 9 kelas. Sampelnya diambil satu kelas yang dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Untuk mendapatkan data digunakan instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk soal uraian (esai). Data diperoleh dari lembaran jawaban siswa dan diolah melalui statistik uji-t pada taraf signifikan ? = 0,05.
