<text>Effect of coffee waste as component of compiler ration peking duck in the form of wafer complete rationABSTRACT. Coffee waste is a by-product of coffee processing that potential to be used as feed stuff for peking duck. The weakness of this coffee waste, among others, is perishable, voluminous (bulky) and the availability was fluctuated so the processing technology is needed to make this vegetable waste to be durable, easy to stored and to be given to livestock. To solve this problem vegetable waste could be formed as wafer. This research was conducted to study effectiveness of coffee waste as component of compiler ration peking duck in the form of wafer complete ration This experiment was run in completely randomized design which consist of 4 feed treatment and 3 replications. Ration used was consisted of P0 = wafer complete ration 0% coffee waste (control), P1 = wafer complete ration 2,5% coffee waste, P2 = wafer complete ration 5% coffee waste, and P3 = Wafer complete ration 7,5% coffee waste. The Variables observed were: physical characteristic (aroma, color, and wafer density) and palatability of wafer complete ration. Data collected was analyzed with ANOVA and Duncan Range Test would be used if the result was significantly different. The result showed that the density of wafer complete ration coffee waste was significantly (P< 0.05) differences between of treatment. Mean density wafer complete ration equal to: P0= 0,52±0,03, P1 =0,67±0,04, P2 =0,72±0,03, and P3 = 0,76±0.05 g/cm3. Wafer complete ration coffee waste palatability was significantly (P< 0.05) differences between of treatment. It is concluded that of wafer complete ration composition 5 and 7,5% coffee waste was significantly wafer palatability and gave a highest wafer density. The ration P0 was the most palatable compare to other treatments for the experimental peking duck.</text>

<text>In vitro analysis of oligosaccharide from extract rumbia fruit (Metroxylon sago Rottb.) as prebioticABSTRACT. Despite a range of commercially available oligosaccharides there is plenty of room to develop new, functionally enhanced prebiotics. current generation of oligosaccharides was not rationally developed. better understanding of factors determining the prebiotic activity of a particular oligosaccharide. Despite the range of commercially available oligosaccharides mixtures (mainly fructo and galacto-oligosaccharides), very few studies are focused on the mechanisms behind the prebiotic activity of particular oligosaccharides. Probably this lack is due to the unavailability of well characterized oligosaccharide fractions for prebiotic function assessment. The objectives of this research were to asses the ability of lactic acid bacteria in fermentation of oligosaccharide and as prebiotic (in vitro). Material used was oligosaccharide of purified rumbia fruit extract. Analysis of oligosaccharide as prebiotic was conducted in vitro using lactic acid bacteria. The lactic acid bacteria consisted Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium animalis, Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Lactobacillus casei Rhamnosus. The growth media for bacteria was a liquid MRS basic medium where glucose was substituted by oligosaccharide of purified rumbia fruit extract. Incubation was in aerob for Lactobacillus and anaerob for Bifidobacterium in incubator 37oC. The lactic acid bacteria was calculated 24-48 hours during incubation periode. The variables observed were: oligosaccharide component, ability of lactic acid bacteria in fermentation of oligosaccharide, and growth of lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium). The result showed that the oligosaccharide component from extract rumbia fruit consisted of: sucrose, stacchiose, and raffinose. The result showed that the oligosaccharide extract rumbia fruit was significantly (P<0.05) the growth of lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium) and fermentation of oligosaccharide. It is concluded that oligosaccharide of rumbia fruit extract could be used as prebiotic.</text>

<text>Abstract. Biogeochemical cycles in coastal ecosystem is influencing the water quality and it is further affect on productivity and sustainability of coastal waters. Carbondioxide is one of the important parameter in biogeochemical cycles in coastal waters, it is formed as DIC (Dissolved Inorganic Carbon) in water and TOC (Total Organic Carbon) in sediment. The purpose of this research was to determine the distribution concentration of dissolved CO2 in the southern coastal waters of Natuna Islands. Insitu measurement was conducted for some parameters of water qualities both physical (i.e. temperature and turbidity) and chemical (i.e. DO, pH and salinity) parameters. DIC was analyzed in LIPI laboratory using Giggenbach titration method, while TOC in sediment was analyzed in Proling Laboratory, Institut Pertanian Bogor. The water quality of the southern coastal waters of Natuna Islands generally in a good condition according to the Ministry of Environment Decree, Number 51, year 2004. The results showed that spacial distribution of DIC ranged from 1.9 to 2.3 mol/kg, while TOC content of the water was ranged from 0.25 g/kg to 1.19 g/kg. Sediment distributions were dominated by sandy, silty sand, sandy silt and coral reefs, therefore the sediment has potencial as organic carbon storage and indicates a good productivity. Keywords: Carbondioxide; Dissolved Inorganic Carbon; Total Organic Carbon; Natuna Islands Abstrak.

The test was conducted on the current top three most popular web servers, which are: Apache, Nginx, and Lighttpd. The parameters used to evaluate the feasibility and performance of these web servers were: maximum request and reply time. The results from the test showed that it is feasible to run all three web servers on the Raspberry Pi but Nginx gave the best performance followed by Lighttpd and Apache. Keywords: Raspberry Pi, web server, Apache, Lighttpd, Nginx, web server performance</text>
