The aims of study to determine the effectiveness of the addition of vitamin E in the washing medium by centrifugation on sperm quality Brahman cattle. frozen semen of Brahman cattle, divided into 4 treatment groups addition of vitamin E in the washing medium: 0.0gr/100 ml medium (K0), 0.1gr /100 ml medium (K1); 0.2gr/100 ml medium (K2) and 0.3 g / 100 ml medium (K4), each group was repeated 5 times. Examination of motility, viability and integrity of sperm membrane performed according to WHO standards. The data obtained were analyzed with one-way ANOVA and Duncan test. The average percentage of motility, viability and membrane integrity of spermatozoa in the addition of vitamin E were significantly different (P <0.05) compared to the control. Percentage of motility, viability and membrane integrity of spermatozoa in the group K2 significantly higher (P <0.05) compared with the group K3: K1 and K0. Percentage of motility, viability and sperm capacitation and sperm live on group K3 significantly higher (P <0.05) compared with the K1 and K0. While the percentage motility of spermatozoa in the group K1 higher were not significant (P> 0.05) compared with the group K0. <text>Separation of spermatozoa with x and y chromosome at boer goat and its application by artificial insemination for kid sex purposeABSTRACT. The purposes of this experiment are to investigate the separation of X and Y spermatozoa by measuring the spermatozoa quality, sex ratio between X and Y, capacity of fertility indicated by conception rate and sex ratio of goat boar kids. Samples, used in this experiment, are fresh semen from Boer goat with high quality consists of 4 group treatments with 6 replications 1) group of spermatozoa without separation (control), 2) group of spermatozoa separated by percoll gradient density centrifugation 3 levels (P1), 5 levels (P2) and swine up (P3). The observed parameters are spermatozoa quality, X and Y spermatozoa ratio, fertility’s capacity and sex ratio on the birth. Quality examination of spermatozoa and identify X and Y spermatozoa is based on the standard method of WHO. The conception rate was based on the ratio of pregnant goat after the first insemination. Data of spermatozoa quality and spermatozoa ratio were analyzed by using analisis of variance (ANOVA) and further analysis by LSD if there were differences between treatments. The results of this experiment showed that spermatozoa quality Boer goat significantly reduced (p<0,05) after separation with percoll gradient density centrifugation and swim up. Percentage spermatozoa X after percoll gradient density centrifugation was significantly higher (P<0,05) compared to control and swim up. Meanwhile, the Y spermatozoa population was significantly higher (P<0,05) after swim up treatment compared to percoll gradient density centrifugation and control. The percentage of sex ratio (male: female) after insemination from percoll gradient density centrifugation produced more female than male. On the other hand, insemination from swim up produced more male than female. Sex ratio produced from separation of percoll gradient density centrifugation, swim up was difference from control semen (P<0,05). From this experiment, it was concluded that spermatozoa separation by percoll gradient density centrifugation and swim up can be used as one of the methods to separate X and Y spermatozoa and further can be applied to get preferred sex animals.</text>

<text>ABSTRACTName: Datin Sofiatuddin YusufStudent No.: 0806102050028Study Program: English EducationTitle: Using Card Games in Teaching SpeakingKeywords: Card Games,Speaking AspectsThis study discussed about the use of flash cards game in improving the ability of students in the English especially in speaking skill. The researcher was interested to apply the technique since there was in the second grade of SMPN 12 Banda Aceh the students had some problems in speaking, ranging from the difficulty of transferring the idea toward the interlocutor, lack of vocabulary, bad in pronunciation and comprehension. Moreover, the students were bored with the usual monotonous teaching, and needed more enjoyable and innovative learning. Thus, implementing a card game technique seemed to be one of the best ways in solving those several problems. The implementation of card games technique in the class resulted in some improvement. It was reflected in the difference between their pre-test score and the post-test one. Almost all of the students in that class passed the minimum passing grade score (60). Furthermore, their speaking performance also increased, the percentage of vocabulary mastery increase from 36.11 to 57.92, pronunciation increased from 4.44 to 58.33, their comprehension in speaking also enhanced from 40.27 to 55.55, fluency (30.55 - 51.38), and the impact also represented in their grammar aspect which was only gained 51.31 at the pre-test, but increased significantly into 72.22 at the post-test. Even though there was significant improvement in speaking skill by using this game technique, teacher should pay more attention in controlling the students, since there was a condition where the students would be active in responding the teaching learning process.?</text>

To increasing tea crop production and reducing of chemical fertilizer of growth of tea at the same time adjustment of technology of plantation by environmental friendliness of CMA inoculation and usage tea factory waste (fluff) at three tea plantation soil orders. The research aim obtain get CMA which compatible on tea plantation, to knows influence of CMA inoculation and giving compost of fluff to rate nutrient landground, growth and absorption of nutrient and also the improving colonization of CMA at tea crop root. This attempt is arranged Completely Block Design (CBD) of factorial. As first factor was soil orders: which consist of Andisols, Inceptisols and of Entisols. As second factor was CMA inoculation: consist of without inoculation, inoculation with CMA Andisol indigenous, inoculation with CMA inceptisols indigenous, inoculation with CMA Entisol indigenous, inoculation with Glomus fasciculatum, and of inoculation with Gigaspora margarita. While third factor is compost measuring of fluff, without compost, and 20 ton ha-1. From result of third isolation of plantation landground found CMA gender of Glomus sp, inoculation CMA influence rata of nutrient of P, growth of tea crop, absorption of nutrient of P. Indigenous CMA give rate of nutrient P, absorption and growth better of inoculation with CMA non-indigenous. Inoculation Glomus fasciculatum give of rate nutrient of P, growth, and absorption better with inoculation Gigaspora margarita. Giving of compost fluff with 10-15 ton ha-1 real improve rate of nutrient of P, growth of tea and absorption of nutrient P.</text>

<text>Effect of prebiotic oligosaccharide extract rumbia fruit (Metroxylon sago Rottb.) in the ration on broiler performanceABSTRACT. Prebiotic oligosaccharides are thought to provide beneficial effects in the gastrointestinal tract of humans and animals by stimulating growth of selected members of the intestinal microflora. Prebiotic oligosaccharides are defined as nondigestible food ingredients that provide beneficial effects to the host by stimulating the growth of selected microbial members of the gastrointestinal tract. Among the colonic bacteria capable of metabolizing prebiotic oligosaccharides and whose growth is stimulated are species of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. Prebiotic oligosaccharides can be produced in transgli-cosylation reactions catalyzed by glycosidases. Glycosidases from different biological sources have specific ability to catalyze the formation of oligosaccharides with particular chain lengths (usually DP < 7) and predominant glycosidic linkages. Oligosaccharide used this research was purified rumbia fruit extract as prebiotic for feed additive in the ration on broiler. The objectives of this research were to study the performance of broiler given of prebiotic oligosaccharide extract rumbia fruit (metroxylon sago Rottb.) in the ration. Two hundred day-old chicks of broiler were divided into three dietary treatments and four replications. Ration used was consisted of: R1 = basal ration (control), R2 = basal ration + 0,4% oligosaccharide extract rumbia fruit, and R3 = basal ration + 0,4% frukto-oligosaccharide (FOS). The variables observed were: feed consumption, body weight, feed conversion ratio, mortality, and production index. The result showed that the performances of the broiler supplemented prebiotic oligosaccharide extract rumbia fruit (R2) was significantly (P < 0.05) differences between of feed consumption, body weight, and mortality. It is concluded that of prebiotic oligosaccharide extract rumbia fruit were able to decrease the mortality and feed consumption at six week of age.</text>
