Panglima Nyak Makam continuation road was completed, the Surabaya bridge on the T. Hasan Dek road is the main route for the movement of the segment between Tgk. Imum Lueng Bata - T. Hasan Dek - T. Iskandar Road in Banda Aceh city. The traffic volume on this road is high, because these segment of roads connecting road users of the area of Lueng Bata - Ingin Jaya and surrounding areas to the education center and offices are located in the city of Banda Aceh. In this study is conducted on the use of alternative road with the assumption that the Santan Bridge has been built and its effect on vehicle operating costs (VOC). Data taken in this study is the data of traffic volume, traffic speed and vehicle cost units. The results of data analysis showed that, the scenarios do nothing has the traffic volume of 1571 passengers car unit per hour (pcu/h), and the capacity of 1427 pcu/h, free flow speed of 50 km/h, the degree of saturation of 1.10, as well as the VOC is Rp. 2,975,114,800, - per year. The scenario do something 1 showed that the traffic volume of 281 pcu/h, the degree of saturation of 0.18, and the savings of VOC of is Rp. 400 103 093, - per year. For scenario do something 2, the traffic volume 530 pcu / h, the degree of saturation is 0.35, and the saving of VOC,is Rp. 756 817 075, - per year. While the capacity and the free flow speed on the scenarios do something 1 and do something 2 respectively for 1520 pcu/h and 54 km/hour. From the comparison of the three scenarios, it can be concluded that the development section of  Jalan T. Panglima Nyak Makam selesai dibangun, maka jembatan Surabaya pada ruas jalan T Hasan Dek merupakan jalur utama untuk pergerakan dari ruas Jalan Tgk. Imum Lueng Bata - T. Hasan Dek - T. Iskandar Banda Aceh. Ruas jalan ini memiliki volume lalu lintas yang tinggi, karena ruas jalan ini menghubungkan pemakai jalan dari kawasan Lueng Bata - Ingin Jaya dan sekitarnya ke pusat pendidikan dan perkantoran yang berada di Kota Banda Aceh. Pada studi ini dilakukan kajian tentang penggunaan jalan alternatif dengan asumsi bahwa jembatan santan telah selesai dibangun dan pengaruhnya terhadap biaya operasional kendaraan (BOK). Data yang diambil pada penelitian ini adalah data volume lalu lintas, kecepatan lalu lintas dan unit-unit biaya kendaraan. Hasil analisis data, pada skenario do nothing diperoleh volume lalu lintas sebesar 1.571 smp/jam, kapasitas 1.427 smp/jam, kecepatan arus bebas 50 km/jam, derajat kejenuhan 1,10, serta BOK sebesar Rp. 2.975.114.800,- per tahun. The study was conducted on a segment of the Jalan Syiah Kuala. The research objective is to analyze the performance of road maintenance management, upgrading of roads to assess the feasibility to perform analysis of Vehicle Operating Costs (BOK), the capacity of the road and the IRI (International Rougnhness Index). Analysis based on the guideline calculations in MKJI 1997. The analysis shows that traffic growth is analyzed by the two scenarios, namely the growth of normal (Do Nothing) and the growth development of the area (Do Something). Do Nothing Jalan Syiah Kuala is rising the traffic growth that need to be handled with four alternatives: (1) analysis of the performance of existing road conditions do minimum (2/2 UD) in 2010 to 2014; (2) alternative A handling (2/2 UD) 2015, to 2016, (3) alternative B (4/2 D) in 2017 to 2021 and (4) alternative C (6/2 D) in 2022 to 2024. Jalan Syiah Kuala needs to have a good way of handling to maintain the degree of saturation as the ratio of traffic flow on road capacity remains below 0.75. For the development activity in Lampulo, it needs to be done with four alternatives: 1) analysis of existing road conditions (2/2 UD) of 2010 to 2013; 2) alternative A (4/2 D) 2014, s / d 2019; 3) alternative B (6/2 D) in 2020 to 2021, 4) alternative C (6/2 D) increase the width of the strip in 2022 to 2024. The thickness of connected woods were 5x12 cm, mean while the thickness of clamps wood were 2x2,5x12 cm. As connectors were used steel bolt  dimention 1/2² (1,12 cm). As the test fiber parallel tension test, fiber parallel compression test, push out test, bendin test, and bolt tension test. The wood had been tested on air dry condition with moisture content 15,18%; water conten 16,30% . Specific gravity of the wood 0,87. All testing were conducted based on American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) 2004.Show that fiber parallel tensile strength 1422,8 kg/cm2 on strain 0,012; fiber parallel compressive strength 423,32 kg/cm 2on strain 0,00479; fleurel strength 585 kg/cm2on strain 0,00257. Steel’s yield strength is 3566,88 kg/cm2on yield strain 0.00255 and steelelasticity modulus 2,018 x 106 kg/cm2. The push out test result of bolt point out strain 0,00317 on load 1040 kg. Tebal kayu yang disambung 5x12 cm, sedangkan  tebal kayu  penyambung 2x2,5x12 cm. Sebagai alat sambung digunakan baut 1/2² (1,12 cm). Sifat mekanis standar juga diuji tarik dan tekan sejajar serat, push out, lentur,dan uji tarik baja baut. Kayu  diuji pada  kondisi kering udara pada kadar lengas 15,18 % dan kadar air 16,30 %. Berat jenis kayu diperoleh 0,87. Semua pengujian didasarkan pada peraturan American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), 2004. Diperoleh  tegangan  tarik sejajar serat 1422,8 kg/cm 2  pada regangan 0,0212, tegangan tekan sejajar serat 423,32 kg/cm 2 pada  regangan 0,00479. Tegangan lentur 585 kg/cm 2 pada  regangan 0,00257. Haris Iqbal Description An account of the resource ABSTRAKTelah dilakukan penelitian tentang terumbu karang di wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Aceh Besar pada bulan September 2012 sampai dengan bulan Februari 2013. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi keragaman bentuk hidup (lifeform) terumbu karang. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada 8 titik lokasi, yakni Amat Aramanyang, Lhok Keutapang, Pulau Di tuan, Lampuuk, Lhok Seudu, Leupung, Pulo Aceh, dan Lamteng. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Line Intercept Transect (LIT). Transek di pasang sepanjang 70 meter dengan penempatan sejajar dengan garis pantai. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada dua kedalaman, masing-masing kedalaman 3-4 meter dan kedalaman 6-8 meter. Pencatatan data dilakukan dengan tiga kali pengulangan dengan interval 5 meter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase tutupan karang pada kedalaman 3-4 meter berkisar antara 33,25% - 65,30% dengan tutupan rata-ratanya adalah 50,74%, dan 25,85% - 64,43% di kedalaman 6-8 meter dengan rata-rata persentase tutupan karangnya adalah 48,21%. Persentase lifeform terumbu karang pada kedalaman 3-4 meter di dominasi oleh lifeform ACT (15,05%), CM (14,89%), dan ACB (11,68%), dan di kedalaman 6-8 meter di dominasi oleh lifeform ACB (11,82%), CM (10,23%), dan ACT ( 9,85%).Kata kunci : terumbu karang, lifeform karang, keragaman, Aceh Besar.ABSTRACTThe research about condition of coral reefs has been done in the coastal areas of Aceh Besar districts from September 2012 to February 2013. The purpose of this study was to determined the condition of the diversity of lifeforms coral reefs. Data collection was performed at 8 point locations, that was Amat Aramanyang, Lhok Keutapang, Pulau Di tuan, Lampuuk, Lhok Seudu, Leupung, Pulo Aceh, and Lamteng. The method used in this study was the method of Line Intercept Transect (LIT). Transects in pairs along the 70 meter by placing parallel to the shoreline. Data collections were taking at two depths, 3-4 meter 6-8 meter. Data recording was taken with three repetitions at interval of 5 meter. The results showed that the percentage of coral cover at depth of 3-4 meter ranged from 33.25% - 65.30% with the average was 50.74%, and 25.85% - 64.43% at 6-8 meter with average percentage was 48.21%. Percentage lifeform coral reefs at depth of 3-4 meter was dominated by lifeform ACT (15.05%), CM (14.89%), and ACB (11.68%), and depth of 6-8 meter was dominated by lifeform ACB (11.82%), CM (10.23%), and ACT ( 9.85%).Keywords: coral reefs, coral lifeform, diversity, Aceh Besar.
