Hasil penelitian diolah dengan SPSS versi.15 menunjukkan bahwa faktor Lahan, Tenaga Kerja, dan Modal secara keseluruhan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efisiensi produksi. Uji secara parsial, hanya variabel Modal yang signifikan, sedangkan variabel Tenaga Kerja dan Luas Lahan tidak signifikan. Dilihat pula dari analisis Return to Scale diketahui bahwa produksi pinang di kecamatan Padang Tiji Kabupaten Pidie sudah efisien, hal ini dapat diketahui pada ?1 + ?2 + ?3 = (0,189 + 0,148 + 0,696) sebesar 1,033 > 1. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diharapkan petani Pinang memberi perhatian khusus pada faktor lahan dan tenaga kerja lebih baik lagi. Namun dengan ketersedian air yang semakin terbatas, maka penting untuk melaksanakan tata cara pemberian air irigasi yang lebih efisien. Irigasi adalah suatu usaha memberikan air untuk keperluan pertanian tanaman padi yang dilakukan dengan cara teratur pada petak-petak sawah. Pemberian air dapat dinyatakan efisien bila debit air yang disalurkan melalui sarana irigasi seoptimal mungkin sesuai dengan kebutuhan tanaman padi pada lahan pertanian yang potensial. Efisiensi irigasi didefinisikan sebagai perbandingan antara jumlah air yang diberikan dikurangi dengan jumlah kehilangan air yang diberikan. Permasalahan pengelolaan air irigasi akan timbul jika terjadi kekurangan air di petak tersier sawah, penelitian ini dilakukan secara langsung di lapangan dengan menggunakan tekhnik drum padi dan teknik inflow - outflow di petak tersier sawah. Parameter-parameter yang diamati dalam pengukuran langsung di lapangan adalah debit air irigasi, evapotranspirasi, perkolasi, dan curah hujan efektif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan nilai efisiensi irigasi pada petak sawah (Ea) sebesar 55.70%. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan efisiensi irigasi berdasarkan Standar Perencanaan Irigasi perlu diperhitungkan sampai ke petak sawah, sehingga di peroleh nilai efisiensi irigasi sebesar 36.21% dan efisiensi irigasi berdasarkan perencanaan menjadi sebesar 37.60%. Efisiensi irigasi pada petak tersier sawah untuk tanaman padi di Daerah Irigasi Lawe Bulan diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan kepada pihak-pihak terkait dalam mengambil kebijakan mengenai sistem pemberian air irigasi yang lebih efisien dalam penggunaan air irigasi sehingga membantu mengatasi masalah kekurangan air pada petak tersier sawah.Kata Kunci : Efisiensi Irigasi, Petak tersier Sawah, Teknik Drum. Production in Ciawi BogorABSTRACT. Soba (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench) is potential alternative food source because of its chemical contents which are not so different from other main food sources. In its agronomical development, intensive and sustain research are needed to study solar radiation uses efficiencies, growth and yield of soba under different population an time planting. This research conducted from April to August 2000 at BPLP Ciawi – Bogor experiment station 415 meter top of sea level, 106 51 BT and 06 38 LS. Unit of research arranged by factorial completely randomized block design. The population factor consist of 3 level : 200 plants m-2 (P1), 160 plants m-2 (P2) and 133 plants m-2 (P3), and time of planting also consist of 3 levels : on April (T1), May (T2) and June (T3). Solar radiation uses efficiency at early growth to weeks after planting was higher at high population compared to low population, but after 5 weeks of planting or when maximum efficiencies, its higher on P2 compared P3 and P1. This showed that when grain filling and maturing, it is more intensive on low population then high population, however the anova for two factors at maximum efficiencies did not showed significant differences. Growth and yield of soba is better on high population compare to low population. This because on high population the microclimate condition and water availability is more adequate then on low population. There was no significant different on 1000 grain weight caused by two factors. For total yield P1 172,1 gm-2 was highest and significantly different then P2 143,6 gm-2 and P3 123,9 g m-2. One hundred broiler CP 707 day-old unsexed chicks, with an average body weight 502,48± 6,99 g age 15 until 42 days. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications and each replication consisted of 5 chickens.. The treatments diets were T0 (basal diet), T1 (6% Salvinia molesta leaves meal), T2 (12% Salvinia molesta leaves meal), and T3 (18% Salvinia molesta leaves meal). The results showed that administration of Salvinia molesta leaf meal up to 18% level in the diet resulted in a decrease in the quality of the ration so that the protein utilization also decreased as indicated by the decline in the value of protein intake, protein intake, protein mass of meat and protein efficiency ratio. Pengujian efisiensi input dengan menggunakan uji Wald, menunjukkan bahwa petani tebu sudah mencapai efisiensi penggunaan input dimana nilai p-value > 0,05. Uji efisiensi produksi dengan menggunakan pendekatan production possibility frontier yang dibandingkan dengan produksi aktual, menjelaskan bahwa petani tebu belum mencapai efisiensi produksi. Hal tersebut dapat diakibatkan oleh luas lahan petani tebu yang rata-rata masih dibawah 2 ha, serta keadaan topografi dan tingkat kesuburan tanah dan juga pendidikan tenaga kerja yang masih relatif rendah, diduga menjadi faktor inefisiensi produksi petani tebu. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan produksi tebu, petani perlu memperhatikan efisiensi dalam penggunaan input dan proses produksi, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai teknik budidaya yang dapat meningkatkan hasil produksi tebu. Based on rotation axis, there are two types of wind turbine, namely turbine with horizontal axis and the one with vertical axis. Turbine with vertical axis has been known with various names that are Darrieus turbine, Savonius turbine and H turbine. This research designed and implemented a prototype of simple Savonius turbine for small scale wind speed. Resistor with resistance of 200 ohm and LED are used as the load. Material of the prototype is alumunium plate, which is light and easy to find. The experiment was conducted at the beach. Permanent magnet synchronous generator was chosen for generating equipment. Voltage resulted by the generator increased as the wind speed increased. The prototype began rotating at wind speed 2.4 m/s. Average efficiency for Y and D connected load are 4.8% and 14.5% respectively.
