Furthermore, the finding solution is compared with the solution that was found by Mohyud in previous study. The results of this comparison showed that there were similarities of the two solutions. Resin akrilik heat cured bersifat menyerap cairan yang dapat menyebabkan perubahan dimensi. Daun salam memiliki kandungan turunan senyawa fenol yang apabila berkontak dengan resin akrilik akan menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan dimensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh durasi perendaman resin akrilik heat cured dalam perasan daun salam 80% selama 1, 3, 5 dan 7 hari terhadap perubahan dimensi. Spesimen penelitian ini berjumlah 20 spesimen yang dibagi dalam 2 kelompok perlakuan. Spesimen berbentuk lingkaran dengan diameter 50 mm dan tebal 1 mm. Spesimen direndam dalam larutan perasan daun salam selama 1, 3, 5 dan 7 hari. Pengukuran perubahan dimensi dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah perendaman larutan perasan daun salam.
