Diperlukan waktu yang cukup untuk menstimulasi dan berinteraksi dengan anak. Ibu yang bekerja memerlukan alokasi waktu khusus bersama anak. Status ibu bekerja memiliki dampak terhadap waktu yang dimiliki ibu bersama anak sehingga waktu untuk menstimulasi perkembangan anak akan berkurang. Terutama pada masa prasekolah yang merupakan masa golden age dimana perkembangan pada masa ini akan menentukan bagaimana kehidupan anak pada masa berikutnya. Tujuan peneliti ingin mengetahui perbedaan perkembangan anak prasekolah pada ibu bekerja dan ibu tidak bekerja di TK Poteumeureuhom Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif komparatif. Populasi yaitu semua anak prasekolah di TK Poteumeureuhom Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 58 anak, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 responden terdiri dari 23 anak yang ibunya bekerja dan 27 anak yang ibunya tidak bekerja, dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan propotionate stratified random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi sesuai Kuesioner Pra Skrining Perkembangan (KPSP) berdasarkan usia responden. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar KPSP yang berisi 10 pertanyaan. Metode analisa data adalah distribusi frekuensi dan t-test independent. Hasil penelitian adalah tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara perkembangan anak prasekolah pada ibu bekerja dan ibu tidak bekerja (p-value=0,31). Saran bagi orangtua di TK Poteumeureuhom agar meluangkan waktu untuk menstimulasi dan memperhatikan perkembangan anak agar anak dapat mencapai perkembangan yang optimal. Tahun 2011 wisatawan asing yang datang ke Sabang berjumlah 5.055 orang. Namun tahun berikutnya menurun drastis menjadi 4.622 orang. Tahun 2013 walau pun meningkat tetapi peningkatannya sangat kecil. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi adaptasi psikososial pasien kanker yang menjalani kemoterapi di ruang Mamplam III Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh Tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif eksploratif melalui pendekatan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 47 pasien. Pengumpulan data dengan melakukan wawancara dengan pedoman kuesioner yang terdiri dari 30 item pernyataan dalam skala Likert. Analisis data dengan menggunakan analisa univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adaptasi psikososial pasien kanker secara umum pada kategori baik (53,2%),untuk konsep diri pada kategori baik (61,7%),untuk fungsi peran pada kategori baik (51,1%) dan interdependensi pada kategori baik yaitu (53,2%).Diharapkan kepada perawat pelaksana rumah sakit hendaknya memberikan support mental dan semangat dalam pelayanan, serta memberikan motivasi kepada perawat untuk memberikan dukungan yang positif terhadap citra tubuh pada pasien kanker yang menjalani kemoterapi dan kepada manajer rumah sakit agar tetap mempertahankan pelayanan sesuai standar operasional rumah sakit.
