Namun kenyataan menujukan bahwa siswa sekolah tingkat pertama, pada umumnya masih banyak yang belum memahami dan mengalami kesalahan dalam mempelajari sudut dan garis serta belum mampu menguasai konsep-konsep sudut dan garis. Mengingat kenyataan tersebut, penulis melakukan penelitian terhadap siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri Kuta Karo Aceh besar dan bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kemampuan siswa terhadap materi sudut dan garis, menentukan jenis kesalahan dan penyebab kesalahan siswa memahami materi sudut dan garis. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah gabungan pendekatan kualitatif dan kualitatif. Teknikk pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan tes dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan memeriksa soal jawaban siswa dan dikonversikan ke dalam kriteria kemampuan yang telah ditetapkan. Dari hasil pengolahan data diperoleh informasi bahwa dari 27 siswa yang mengikuti tes kemampuan materi sudut dan garis dapat disimpulkan bahwa menguasai kategori kemampuan-1 ada 11 orang (35,48%), yang menguasai kategori kemampuan-2 ada 4 orang (12,9%), dan kategori kemampuan-3 tidak ada satu orang pun yang menguasai (0%). Kesalahan siswa masih terjadi pada semua kategori kemampuan yang ditetapkan, diantaranya: kesalahan konsep; kesalahan prinsip; kesalahan operasi; kesalahan variable; dan kesalahan kecerobohan. Sedangkan penyebab kesalahan siswa secara umum adalah karena: siswa tidak paham dalam menentukan nilai sudut dan garis, dan siswa kurang paham dalam menerapkan teorema sudut dan garis; siswa kurang paham menentukan penjumlahan dan per kalian, pembagian dalam materi tersebut; siswa belum memahami sudut dan garis. The experiment to improve mineral acid soil productivity in Aceh that is potential to plantation. This experiment was conducted during the month of February until Mei 2006. It studied the effect of peat application, phosphate fertilization and the effect of the interaction. They were consist of sixteen combination of treatment with fourty eight plots. The experimental design was in randomized completely block design, there were two factors treatment. e.i. four level of peat namely; no pead, 10 ton, 20 ton, and 30 ton ha-1. The result shows that in general the application of peat and phosphate fertilization with different level were able to improve significantly the corn growth e.i.: crop growth rate, relative growth rate, net assimilation rate, and leaf area biomassa ratio, but they interaction were not significantly on 4 – 8 weeks periode. The interaction were significantly on 8 weeks to harvest periode however the two single factor show nonsignificantly. The interaction between pead application of 2 ton ha-1 and 100 ton ha-1 posfat fertilization gave a better result. Sistem komunikasi wireless sangat rentan terhadap fading yang menyebabkan pelemahan daya sinyal informasi. Oleh karena itu diperkenal sistem komunikasi kooperatif dimana salah satu teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik spatial diversity yang menggunakan multiple antenna virtual pada sisi penerima sebagai perantara. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi dampak dari fading yang dapat menurunkan kinerja sistem. Penelitian ini mengkaji optimalisasi alokasi daya pada sistem komunikasi kooperatif menggunakan protocol Amplify and Forward (AAF) untuk mentransmisikan datanya dengan daya yang seefisien mungkin, sekaligus memberikan hasil pengiriman sinyal informasi yang bagus dan mengatasi kanal fluktuatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kinerja sistem Bit Error Rate (BER) pada sistem komunikasi kooperatif, serta meminimalkan BER menggunakan 3 relay pada sisi penerima. Parameter yang digunakan dalam optimalisasi alokasi daya adalah throughput, BER dan amplification (?). Dari simulasi yang dilakukan diperoleh perbandingan kinerja sistem berdasarkan hubungan BER terhadap SNR, untuk Direct (tanpa relay) BER yang dihasilkan lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan optimalisasi alokasi daya mengunakan protokol amplify and forward 3 relay. Dalam hal ini BER dan throughput meningkat seiring dengan pertambahan jumlah SNR dan jumlah relay serta mengurangi fading dalam sistem komunikasi kooperatif melalui optimalisasi alokasi daya, sehingga sinyal informasi diterima tujuan sesuai yang diinginkan.Kata Kunci : Optimalisasi, Alokasi daya, komunikasi kooperatif, Amplify and forward. Boraks berbentuk padat, jika terlarut dalam air akan menjadi natrium hidroksida dan asam borat (H3BO3). Meskipun bukan pengawet makanan, boraks sering disalah gunakan dalam industri pangan seperti bakso, kerupuk, lontong, dan sebagainya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kemungkinan adanya kandungan boraks pada lontong yang dijual di wilayah Kota Banda Aceh dan untuk mengetahui masa simpan lontong. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Identifikasi boraks pada lontong dilakukan di laboratorium Kimia FKIP Unsyiah, dengan menggunakan eksperimen. Lontong yang diidentifikasi dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari tiga titik/kawasan pasar Kota Banda Aceh yaitu Pasar Peunayong, Pasar Setui, dan Pasar Ulee Kareng. Dari penelitian identifikasi boraks pada lontong yang telah dilakukan di laboratorium dari sembilan sampel lontong yang diidentifikasi menghasilkan, 4 sampel lontong (B, D, E, dan F) teridentifikasi positif mengandung boraks yang beredar diwilayah/kawasan pasar Peunayong dan 5 sampel lontong (A, C, G, H, dan I) negatif mengandung boraks. Hasil pengamatan masa simpan pada lontong yang dilakukan selama lima hari, sampel A, C, G, H, dan I mulai terjadi perubahan pada hari kedua. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa struktur tanah di lokasi penelitian cenderung tergolong ke dalam kelompok gumpal bersudut. Konsistensi tanah berkisar dari agak lekat sampai plastis. Tekstur tanah liat menyebabkan konsistensi menjadi lebih lekat pada horison atas dan tidak mudah hancur (plastis) pada horison bawah. Nilai bobot isi tergolong tinggi (1,31 g/cm3 sampai 1,48 g/cm3), permeabilitas tergolong lambat (0,25 cm/jam sampai 0,51 cm/jam), sehingga porositas tanah tersebut kurang baik. Tanah di lokasi penelitian bereaksi masam, nilai KTK pada tergolong rendah sampai dengan sedang (11 me/100g sampai 37 me/100g). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Most Probable Number (MPN) yang terdiri dari tes perkiraan (Presumptive Test), tes penegasan (Confirmative Test) dan tes pelengkap (Completed Test). Sampel penelitian ini adalah daging burger dari 5 penjual burger kaki lima di Desa Kopelma Darussalam dan daging burger dari 5 restoran cepat saji di Banda Aceh dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode total sampling. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan tiga kali dengan interval waktu 1 minggu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pengambilan pertama didapatkan cemaran E. coli pada 40% sampel daging burger penjual kaki lima dan 60% sampel daging burger restoran cepat saji. Pada pengambilan kedua diperoleh 100% sampel daging burger penjual kaki lima dan sampel daging burger restoran cepat saji tercemar E. coli. Pada pengambilan ketiga didapatkan 100% sampel daging burger penjual kaki lima dan 80% sampel daging burger restoran cepat saji tercemar E. coli. Hasil positif pada sampel yang diperoleh tidak memenuhi syarat berdasarkan Kepmenkes RI No. 1098/Menkes/SK/VII/2003.
