The species of HHV-6 is divided into two variants, HHV-6A and HHV 6-B, which might be detected and identified by PCR and RE methods. The three samples of eye swabs from children with suspected HHV-6 neurological illness were extracted by guanidium isothiocyanate method before running in PCR followed by agarose electrophoresis as a detection stage. The positive results were then identified by RE analysis to determine the variant of the viruses. One of the three samples (sample 2) shows positive result in direct electrophoresis and it was identified as HHV-6B which produced two fragments of 153bp and 70bp in the RE analysis. The method required labeled DNA probes. In this study a non-radioactive label of Digoxigenin-11-dUTP was used for labeling the Sag1 and the Bag1 of Toxoplasma gondii DNA probe. Labeling method for the probes was done according to the random primed labeling technique. The result showed that 0.67 pg/µl Sag1 probe and 0.58 pg/µl Bag1 probe could be detected by anti-Dig-antibody. It could be concluded that 0.67 pg/µl Sag1 probe and 0.58 pg/µl Bag1 probe could be used to diagnose toxoplasmosis by dot blot hybridization method. Rice, the second most important crop after wheat, has been cultivated in Iran. Marketing conditions and quality traits after yield are the most important factors to adopt of new varieties. Therefore in recent years Iranian scientists decided to training on breeding improved high yield varieties with good grain quality.Quantitative trait loci (QTLs) yield and  grain quality traits of rice (Oryza sativa L.) with additive, epistatic, and QTL × environment (QE) interaction effects were studied using a mixed-model-based composite interval mapping (MCIM) method and two populations of Back cross inbred lines (BILs) with a common maternal parent.In each of the populations two or three main effects of QTLs were detected for yield, amylose content, gel consistency and gelatinization temperature. Some identified QTL clusters suggested pleiotropic effects could control these traits. The phenotypic variation of AAE and AA QTLs effects were smaller than main QTLs. We conclude that the major genes and some minor and modifier genes controlled rice grain quality and yield components. The aim of the present study was to detect the antibodies to Avian Influenza in serum of native chickens. This study utilized 123 serum samples collected from the axilaris vein (left or right) of native chickens. Antibody titres were examined using Hemaglutination Inhibition (HI). The result showed that indication of natural infection by Avian Influenza (H5N1) in native chickens, as shown that out of 123 serum samples, 16 (13,01%) were tested positive by HI, while only 10 (8,13%) were tested protective to Avian influenza infection. Based on the results we obtained, a conclusion that natural infection by Avian influenza virus stimulated variety level of formation antibody titres in native chickens.
